Lou having to leave the Ramsay kids to go and see Lauren
Toadie leaving for a few days
Donna and having business worries.
Donna and Andrew kissing
Donna is in her room with Cat. She's asking Cat's advice on the Ringo/Andrew problem. Unfortunately for Donna, Cat is just a Cat and gets bored with her dilemmas and hops off her bed.
DONNA: So do you choose the snugly marmalade, or the sleek Siamese? [Cat is laid on a rug] You're right, we'll have breakfast first.
Downstairs, Ringo is awaiting Donna with balloons and pancakes - it's their anniversary! (Is it?!) Donna looks surprised but very happy. Ringo has forgotten to get the card and goes and get sit while Donna eats her pancakes.
Enter Andrew from a run. He's very hot and sweaty and we have a slow- mo of him drinking some orange juice, which by the looks of Donna is an attractive thing to do. The gulping sound that goes with it, isn't attractive in the least, in my opinion. Andrew asks about the balloons.
DONNA: It's our anniversary.
ANDREW: Cute. I'm going to take a shower.
As he walks off, Donna watches him, and then catches Cat looking at her.
DONNA: [Whispers] What?!
Kate is trying to fix Sophie's school dress, and Sophie is adamant that she looks stupid. Callum thinks he looks stupid - he's in shorts! Harry comes in annoyed that Lou put his jumper in the drier - it's shrunk.
Kate asks Callum if he's OK about school tomorrow. Callum says he's relaxed, it's all fine. Harry winds him up, asking him if he understands calculus yet. Callum takes him seriously and looks worried.
There's a knock at the door and it's Roz from the DHS. Kate panics and starts tidying. Roz tells her not to panic - it's a courtesy call. She asks for Lou.
KATE: No, he's a...erm...
HARRY: At the shops.
She leaves saying she'll come back later and Sohpie and Kate look at Harry - they can't believe he lied. Harry apologises but he didn't know what else to say. If they tell them Lou is gone they might take him away again. Kate says she'll find out anyway.
Ringo asks a busy Callum what he's doing. Callum replies he's studying. Ringo is confused as it's the last day of the holidays which shouldn't be used for studying! When he notices Callum's using a year ten book he wonders why and Callum explains what Harry said about Calculus. Ringo sits down and explains that if he's worrying about fitting in he should join a sport and make friends that way - and he's really good at footy. Ringo offers to help him practice and Callum goes to get changed.
Donna walked in half way through this and watched on. She tells Ringo he was really nice.
The Ramsay kids phone Lou. They ask Lou how Lauren is - he isn't very positive, saying that Lauren needs more surgery and she won't be able to go home soon. Harry tells him to take all the time he needs. They end the call and don't know what to do about Roz - they're going to have to come clean. But, hang on a minute, Harry's got an idea!
Donna is talking to Cat again - weighing up the pRoz and cons of Ringo and Andrew. She's interrupted but a knock at the door which Andrew runs from upstairs to answer. It's Harry, who wants to borrow a sound card and some wireless speakers. He also delivers Donna's contract that was on the doorstep.
DONNA: This isn't a contract, it's a phonebook.
Andrew offers to help her go through it, but Donna says she doesn't need advice from him, she'll wait until Paul is home. She walks out.
Harry hopes Donna listens to Andrew. He's smart, and he's good at getting people to do what he wants them to. Andrew thanks Harry, who leaves with his sound card and speakers etc.
Ringo and Callum are chucking a footy around and Donna is reading her contract, she asks Ringo what different things mean but he has no idea. Callum thinks Toadie would know, but he's probably even forgotten about what tomorrow is! Toadie didn't even mention it. Ringo thinks Callum needs to take some of his feelings out on him - so Callum tackles Ringo to the ground and then vice versa.
Andrew comes over - dressed smartly. He explains he's going to have dinner with a couple of girls and get to know them before he goes to a concert with them tomorrow. Donna looks jealous.
The master plan is underway. Harry hands Kate her script, and Kate reluctantly phones Lou. She talks to him and Lou is instantly suspicious. She pretends the lawnmower isn't working, and manages to get Lou to do an impression of it spluttering down the phone which is very funny. Kate thanks Lou, and hangs up.
Kate is ranting at Donna who isn't really listening. The only bit she hears is Kate saying that Harry is smart and funny and "such a boy". Donna then rants about boys. Donna doesn't think it's as simple as nice guy and bad guy. Kate thinks she's worked out what Donna is trying to say: that bad is sexy and nice is boring. Kate thinks bad is overrated, she'd prefer the guy that she could snuggle up with on the sofa - like what Donna has with Ringo.
Roz arrives. The Ramsay's explain that Lou is resting as he has flu and Harry presses his laptop buttons to get a Lou sounding cough come from the bedroom. Roz looks as though she's going to buy it when the phone rings and Lou leaves a message. Oops.
Donna is trying to go through her contract, but Callum and Ringo are making a lot of noise playing on the TV. Callum runs off, and Donna wonders if Ringo's had enough of his 'kid duties' for the day. Apparently not. Donna goes home and Ringo stay to carry on playing with Callum.
Roz is unimpressed with the Ramsay kids antics. However, she explains that she'll pop in every other day to check on them. They thank her, and she comments that Harry's idea was very inventive.
Donna fires Cat and takes out her laptop to record a message to Elle about her woes. She doesn't say the other boy is Andrew. Andrew knocks on the door and she turns her laptop away but doesn't stop recording.
Andrew offers his assistance with her contract, and she accepts. They sit on her bed together and go through it.
A bit later...
Andrew is explaining the contract to Donna. They catch one another's eye.
ANDREW: I think you can do better.
DONNA: I know you do.
They kiss. And again. And again. Meanwhile the laptop is watching them...
Paul asks Rebecca what she thinks of Andrew sticking around.
Andrew tells Harry Declan is always in the way when he's trying to get to know his Dad.
Callum's being picked on at school.
Kate agrees to go on a date with Kyle (set up Andrew, with Declan watching on)
