Robin locking Zeke in the storeroom.
Robin and Sunny have dinner together although she is wondering where Zeke. She hopes that Zeke is fine, which Robin reassures her he will be.
And while they have their food, Zeke is banging on the door trying to attract Sunny's attention.
Robin keeps the pretence up by ordering a milkshake for Zeke and lays it on thick how he values their friendship too especially as he's never been a great one for getting/keeping friends. Sunny empathises with him on that point, recalling her own struggles to fit in when she first arrived.
Zeke is now trying to break the lock but that isn't successful.
Sunny decides to give Zeke a call but Robin get in first and calls him and acts like he's having a conversation with Zeke. When he hangs up, he passes on a message from Zeke that he'll meet them at home later. This puzzles Sunny initially but then when Robin explains that he's hanging out talking music, she gets annoyed and wishes Zeke had just said he didn't want to come.
Zeke tries and fails to pick the lock.
Elle, complete with sex hair and wearing Lucas' leather jacket, is surprised to see Toadie when he returns home for some chocolate (Susan has got cravings). She tries to explain the leather jacket as being interested in buying a bike but his suspicions are further heightened when Lucas comes out of his room wondering where Elle has got to!
Lucas and Elle are debating the “meeting” with Toadie and wondering why they didn't tell him the truth.
LUCAS: I was a gentleman protecting your sensibilities.
ELLE: Ooh my “sensibilities”.
The duo are discussing who they have (or more like haven't) told when Steph comes in for her order. She enquires after Elle's health since she hasn't been at the garage (Lucas gave the excuse that she had gastro) and Elle plays along well even though Steph can see she's lying. Steph departs after telling Elle there is a lot of paperwork for her to do at the garage once she's well again.
Both of them then deny the suggestion that they are embarrassed to tell anyone they are together again and so agree a deal between them – he'll tell Steph and Toadie she'll tell Paul and Rebecca.
Harry enters the store surprised to see Sunny and Robin there without Zeke. Sunny explains that Zeke stayed behind after the show and that he said he'd see them later thanks to Robin's call. Harry then goes over to the fridges and phones Zeke but it goes straight to voicemail so he leaves a message for Zeke saying that he thought he'd want to know that Sunny is having dinner with Robin at the store.
After the call, Harry grabs a juice and goes to sit with them (he's onto Robin). Sunny decides she wants to head home and Robin rejects Harry's offer to stay and hang to make sure that Sunny gets home okay.
Susan wonders where Zeke is when Sunny and Robin enter the house. Sunny explains that she though he was meeting them there and Susan puts it down to Zeke getting waylaid by his fans mobbing him. Susan quickly dismisses Robin's suggestion that Zeke is avoiding them because he's been hanging out with them too much.
After Susan heads off, Robin tells Sunny that she impresses him because she isn't obsessed with what's cool and what's in, recalling that a previous girlfriend dumped him for someone way cooler. Sunny is puzzled by this claim as she thought he hadn't had a girlfriend, so he quickly backtracks and says it was a friend instead. He then plants a seed of doubt in Sunny's head when he hopes that Zeke isn't with one of his adoring fans right now.
Harry arrives looking for Zeke, surprised to see Robin still hanging around. He questions Robin over his call to Zeke given that the others and nobody haven't heard from Zeke and that there is no answer at Pirate Net. Sunny steps in to stop Harry pushing Robin for an actual answer to his question (what exactly did he say to you?) when he evades answering, so Harry says there is only one way to find out…
Zeke tries to make himself comfortable in the locked cupboard as the trio arrive at the station. Sunny finds Zeke's phone in the studio and suggests they go home since he obviously isn't there but Harry wants to keep looking. Their search is curtailed when a security guard appears and throws them out when Sunny can't prove she works there as she hasn't got her security pass.
The trio arrive back at #28 and Sunny is getting annoyed. Harry sends her into check Zeke's room and when she is there, he makes it very clear to Robin that Zeke and Sunny are very much together and should he make a move on her, he'll have to deal with him as well as Zeke! Robin was about to reply to his warning but Sunny's return prevents that. Harry then says he'll go out looking for Zeke and suggests that Sunny stays home in case Zeke returns… then tells Robin he can go home. “Guess I'll be off them” he wisely replies and tells Sunny that he is sure Zeke will be fine on the way out. Harry follows a few seconds later after getting Sunny to call him if he turns up.
Susan comes out of the bathroom and dismisses Sunny questioning if Zeke is jealous, instead reminding her that she knows what Zeke is like – he sometimes just needs time alone. “He's not a jealous boy, he's just been under a bit of a strain that's all” she adds before retiring for the night giving Sunny orders to wake her in an hour if Zeke hasn't returned.
Lucas is round to tell Steph but she's worked it out already that they are back together again. “How did you know about that” a puzzled Lucas asks her and is told that everyone knows!
LUCAS: They do?
STEPH: When Elle came back to the garage dressed in those overalls.
(Lucas ponders what she's said)
STEPH: Yes, yes she was desperate to get back with you from the minute you guys split.
LUCAS: (puzzled) She was? Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah but she was so was so angry with me and then she took the job in New York. And she said all those mean things.
STEPH: You really have no idea do you?
(Lucas shakes his head)
STEPH: (laughing) You blokes!
“For the beautiful Elle Robinson” Lucas adds along with a kiss, a bunch of flowers and some chocolates when he enters. “Why thank you Mr Fitzgerald” Elle replies and Lucas gives her some news – they need not tell anyone the good news because they know it already according to Steph!
Lucas tries to make up for lost time but Elle wants them to take things slowly so he reluctantly leaves her to do her work although both their faces look like that wasn't what they wanted to happen next.
Robin reappears to see if Zeke is back but Sunny is getting worried that they haven't heard from Zeke. She wants to wake Susan but Robin suggests they go back and check out Pirate Net properly since they didn't get to earlier. Sunny grabs the vital security pass and she gets uncomfortable when Robin touches her hand after she put it on his arm as a thanks for reassuring her that Zeke will be found.
Zeke is trying to figure out a way to get out of the cupboard and has a brainwave on how he can do that when he accidentally knocks against an electricity board and the lights flicker.
Robin and Sunny arrive and he thinks he's heard a noise from the direction of the cupboard and they head over even though Sunny didn't hear anything.
Zeke opens the electricity board and flicks a switch and the lights go out just as Sunny and Robin are exploring. “Stay close to me” he tells her, so she takes his hand and admits she's glad he's here.
Break over and Sunny is using the light from her mobile as they check out the building. Robin again suggests that the noise is from the direction of the storeroom and Sunny reports that the door is locked when she tries it. The lights flicker on and off and ooh, Robin has coincidentally found a key on the floor… and suggests that maybe it's the key to the locked storeroom! “Try it” Sunny urges him and ooh it just so happens to fit too! Sunny opens the door and is relived to find Zeke there and a relived Zeke hugs her immediately.
“You took your time” he tells her and Zeke's happy face changes to an annoyed one when Robin pipes up that he's glad that Zeke is okay (he was initially unseen by Zeke).
Toadie is wondering why Lucas isn't with Elle and offers him sympathy when he replies that she's got her “little empires to run”. Lucas wants to know why Toadie thinks Elle is giving him the brush off.
TOADIE: Put it this way. Earlier tonight she was wearing your leather jacket; hair was very messed up… now she's doing bookwork. What did you say?
TOADIE: Alright, what didn't you say?
LUCAS: (twigging) Oh…
Elle is lounging on the sofa scoffing the choccies Lucas brought round when he enters the house and suggests that she leaves the corporate reading to business hours. He asks if she is embarrassed at them given she is “smart, successful, beautiful, honest as a straight shoe” whereas he's “a dodgy ex-gambler with grease under his fingernails.” “Don't” is Elle's immediate reply and Lucas continues by saying everyone is looking that them just waiting to fail.
ELLE: I don't care what other people think, its something I've learned from my father. I need you… don't want to but I do.
LUCAS: I need you too. I'm not going anywhere.
The pair of them hug and Lucas confirms Elle's question that he really does love her and upon hearing that they have a little pash.
Zeke is explaining to the now awakened Susan how he got trapped at Pirate Net but now he's safely home she leaves him (and Sunny) to return to bed.
Alone, Zeke gives Sunny a different explanation as to how he was in the cupboard – Robin locked him in, it wasn't an accident. She is lost for words and dismisses Zeke's allegation because he didn't see who it was so therefore can't prove it was Robin. “And why would Robin do something like that” she adds.
ZEKE: a) he's weird and b) he just wants some time alone with you.
SUNNY: And that's weird is it?
ZEKE: He's always hanging around you.
SUNNY: You're jealous. You just can't stand the fact that I'm friends with him. You're jealous.
Zeke denies he is jealous and asks what else Robin is going to do to get her to himself!
Pirate Net (next day)
Zeke is busy in the studio when Sunny arrives…with Robin! “I'm busy” he tells them and when Robin says he is there to apologise Zeke asks if that's for locking him in! He denies doing that, but wants to apologise if he led Zeke into thinking he could do something like that and drops in too about Zeke's anxiety worries.
ROBIN: I know what that's like and its okay. I just want us all to be friends.
He then places his hand on Zeke's shoulders and immediately Zeke puts his martial arts training to use, grabbing his arm and throwing Robin to the ground!
Zeke wanting to talk things over with Sunny but she doesn't want to for what he did to Robin.
Robin (with a scar on his face) telling Karl that Zeke didn't mean to hurt him.
Zeke asking Sunny why she's taking Robin's side.
Lyn moaning to Paul for having to write about her friends but still sending him in an article.
Lyn begging Susan to help her not get the article printed.
Robin explaining to Sunny that he did it for them.
