Number 22
Paul and Rebecca have a barney over what happened at the bar. Rebecca is not amused at Paul controlling her like "some sort of possession" and he eventually backs down and admits that there are parts of her which he doesn't want to share.

REBECCA: So you just behave like a jealous idiot do you?
PAUL: You're in the nude!

(Later)

The tempers have now calmed down as Paul returns from the kitchen with a cuppa. Rebecca explains that he knows her past and that she won't be controlled by anyone again. "I won't treat you like that" Paul replies but Rebecca reminds him that he just did! Paul apologises and agrees not to let her down again; he just wants her to be his wife.

PAUL: So, what are you doing tomorrow?
REBECCA: (playing it cool) I don't know. What do you have in mind?
PAUL: I happen to know this rather nice boat that we can get married on.

Rebecca makes it clear she doesn't want to get married on a boat but he replies that this one isn't moving... "And it's almost as tasteful as the woman I'm hoping to marry". It looks like we've got a wedding now and the icing on the cake is when Paul tells Rebecca he's written new vows and just as he is about to read them to her, she stops him - she wants to hear them for the first time tomorrow when he becomes her husband.

Number 22 (next day)
The Ramsay kids pop by to deliver Sophie to be made up by Donna into a flower girl. Paul is already panicking because he is struggling to memorise his vows and rejects Elle's offer of brekkie. Elle totally puts a curse on the day by telling him he has nothing to worry about and literally 2 seconds later Paul spills coffee down his shirt!

Fast forward a bit and Elle has performed a miracle, well a bottle of bleach has, as Paul now has a very clean shirt. Curse #2 strikes though as Elle as got bleach over the back of her black dress. Donna comes running down the stairs upon hearing the panic and after sending the Ramsay kids away (with instructions not to tell Rebecca) tells them not to panic because Rebecca will be worse!

Number 26
Except when we cut over to #26, Rebecca is sitting on the couch having a relaxing cup of tea chatting on the phone to Miranda (she phoned to wish her luck and that the house will be going on the market soon).

Declan brings Indy out and Rebecca is most impressed with the pair of them when she gets off the phone, although Declan admits he is scared that his daughter will be sick over her outfit. And as if to copy Elle, Rebecca curses herself too when she says Indy that she wouldn't do that on her wedding day.

Susan and Sophie (in matching purple dresses) arrive glad to see that everything is calm after the hen night. Declan enquires how things are going at #22 but Sophie has been sworn to secrecy and he takes the silence as meaning things are going bad! Susan makes a beeline to the bathroom (morning sickness) as it's confirmed Lucas isn't coming to the wedding. Declan asks if he can invite someone else to take his place and Rebecca asks who.

Number 32
And we cut straight to see that it's Steph that he wants to invite to the wedding - he wants it to be a new start. Steph appreciates the sentiment and agrees although she never thought she'd be invited to another Paul Robinson wedding after the last debacle!

Number 26
Declan is impressed at his mum in her wedding dress as she enters the livingroom from the master bedroom.

DECLAN: I'm so proud of you.
REBECCA: Don't you make me cry!

Rebecca causes Declan to be all coy when she thanks him for being him but then she gets teary when they talk about holding onto true love.

DECLAN: (handing her his hankie) Come on save your face.

She apologises to him for being teary because she's been "waiting to marry Paul for such a long time and this is it."

Number 22
Paul is impressed when Donna and Elle come downstairs to find his daughter is dressed in his old tux - she's fully embracing the best man role!

Donna heads off to meet Ringo telling them to break a leg! "It's not a stage show Donna" mutters Paul as she runs out the door.

Harold's Store
Elle is bemused at Paul taking a detour via the store to get something to eat although she veto's his preferred choice of food (chicken tandoori pie) in favour of a wrap with instructions to keep it wrapped up!

Lucas enters the store and things are a bit tense between himself and Elle although he is impressed at Elle in her tux and adds for her to have a good day.

We then get a slow-mo of curse #3 happening - the beetroot juice from the wrap landing down the front of Paul's cleaned up shirt! The problem is solved by Elle literally giving Paul the shirt off her back since she can get away without wearing one unlike him... unless he wants to look like a Chippendale dancer...minus the six pack!

Before they leave, Paul thanks his daughter and tells her that she is the best of best men before she literally drags him out of the kitchen.

Number 22
Sophie is dishing out the complements too while they wait for Susan to come out of the bathroom and when she does, she isn't exactly glowing yet during her pregnancy! Sophie gives Rebecca a new blue garter as part of the something old etc routine. Susan leaves to get a lift from Karl as she doesn't want to risk being in the same car as Rebecca in case the dress gets a sudden design update!

Declan continues the something old etc routine when he lends his mum Didge's engagement ring for her to have until India is old enough. Rebecca thanks her son and wishes that Didge could be here so she could lend it herself before they all depart the house.

Lassiters Complex
Oh no, its curse #4 - Paul's car now won't start! After failing to get a taxi (there's an hour wait), Paul spots Lucas and orders Elle to ask Lucas to fix the car but she refuses, so Paul runs over to Lucas to ask instead.

Quayside
Donna asks aloud in front of Toadie, Steph, Kate and Harry where Paul and Elle are and when Toadie asks, they aren't answering their mobiles either. Kate tries to reassure her that it means they are on their way.

HARRY: Or that something bad has happened. (Scowl from Donna) I'm only saying what everyone else is thinking.
STEPH: Well given Paul's track record.

The 5 of them slowly make their way forwards along the quayside to meet the brides vintage car with instructions from Donna to smile and act normally! Cue fake smiles when the car draws up in front of them. Rebecca sends Declan out and when he reaches them, he knows something is up and wants to know what it is.

DONNA: Eh, Paul hasn't turned up.
DECLAN: You're kidding me?!
DONNA: (trying to remain calm) No, no, don't stress, I'm sure everything's fine. You might just want to do a couple more blocks.
DECLAN: Donna it's not Chapel Street.

Rebecca asks from the car what is going on and Declan puts on a happy face when he returns to the car to explain that a couple of the guests are late in arriving and suggests that they keep driving for a little bit, joking that they should make the most of the car hire! Rebecca sees right through her son and he confirms that its Paul who isn't here yet although he quickly reassures her that he can't be too far away and that Elle is with him.

DECLAN: She'll get him here.

Rebecca calmly agrees to do some more driving to give Paul a chance to arrive.

Lassiters Complex
Lucas relays the news that he can fix the car but not right now, he needs to get it to the garage to do the work. The two former lovers then have a 'lovers tiff' over Elle wanting to get rid of the car and get a new one although the undertones are more to do with their relationship.

LUCAS: You don't chuck something out just because it's broken.
ELLE: Well if it's broken once it will probably just break again won't it.
LUCAS: Not if you take it slowly and repair it properly, could be better than it ever was.

Paul then decides to hijack Lucas' truck to get himself and Elle to the venue.

Quayside
Donna is given the task by the others of telling Rebecca that Paul still hasn't arrived when the car returns after its 4th lap! Sophie is getting rather restless and Rebecca is insistent that Paul is going to turn up because she knows he loves her. The quartet are about to set off for lap #5 when Paul and Elle arrive, almost crashing into the vintage car!

Paul quickly runs up to his bride as she finally exits from the car to tell her about the various curses that have struck him before he finally realises how gorgeous Rebecca looks in her dress.

REBECCA: You drive me mad sometimes.

Elle joins them and asks if everything is alright. Rebecca replies that it is now before restraining Declan from laying into Paul (although he does get a 'you're damn lucky' out before she stopped him) because she wants to get married.

Paul and Rebecca make their way to the aisle followed by the other guests before the camera pans to reveal a taxi pulling up alongside the quay - maybe Susan decided to forgo a lift from Karl afterall since she doesn't appear to be there. Mmm, maybe it isn't Susan then as the taxi grounds to a halt further down the quay from the wedding party as we head into the final break.

Commercial break later and it definitely wasn't Susan in the taxi and since she hasn't arrived, Rebecca asks her son if he'll do the honours instead.

DECLAN: Well if Elle's going Paul's best man, I think I can be a matron of honour.

Rebecca and Declan make their way down the red carpet, freshly covered in petals from flower girl Sophie, to meet Paul, Elle and the celebrant.

As we look over towards Melbourne, Rebecca begins recites her vows:

REBECCA: I know in my heart that you're the man for me. You make me the happiest woman in the world and I can't wait to be your wife.
PAUL: Rebecca, although I've travelled this route before, I've never travelled it with one such as you. You are the most beautiful woman I know. I love the way you speak your mind, I love your sexy laugh, I love the way you love your family and friends and I am blessed beyond belief that you've chosen me to be your husband. Rebecca, you are my final journey, you're my final destination.

We then hear a voice in the background calling out "stop!" and someone makes their way to the front... its Lyn!

LYN: Stop now.
PAUL: (stunned) Lyn! What the hell are you doing?
LYN: This can't go on. If you marry her you'll be breaking the law.
PAUL: What?!
LYN: I'm Mrs Robinson.
REBECCA: ...
LYN: We're still married.
PAUL: ...
