Number 22
Donna thanks Ringo for walking her home and they make small talk about the play until Ringo tries to kiss her. Donna is keen to reciprocate but is worried they're making a mistake getting back together. Ringo doesn't think so and goes in for another pash, but Donna wants to take their relationship slow this time if they're going to make it work. She ushers him out of the house, but sneaks in a quick kiss before he leaves.
Erinsborough Gym - Next Morning
Donna and Ringo make goo-goo eyes at one another while they work out. Donna almost falls off the treadmill while she wills herself not to think about kissing Ringo. But she grins when she sees Ringo beaming at her.
Ramsay Street
Susan is walking Audrey home and commenting on how slow she is (oh God, my heart couldn't take it if this was leading into another Bob storyline). Picking up the paper, Susan notices Kate with a grocery bag and stops her for a chat. Kate is telling Susan about how Lou ran out of apples when she notices that her brother has made front-page news. Kate's incensed - Elle promised she'd leave the Ramsay kids alone. Seeing Elle with Lucas, Kate growls at her and Susan adds in a stink-eye for good measure. Lucas also isn't impressed with his girlfriend.
Number 26
Rebecca is trying to get rid of Paul on the phone when Steve walks in and overhears. He's angry that Rebecca has kept Paul hidden away all this time and demands to know where he is. Rebecca tells him to mind his own business and that he shouldn't condemn Paul when he doesn't know all the facts.
STEVE: This makes you an accessory. Stop protecting Paul and look after yourself.
Rebecca silently leaves just as Miranda walks in, wanting to know what they were arguing about. Miranda isn't pleased when Steve shirks her off.
Number 24
Harry hands Kate his detention slip from Dan. Needless to say, Kate's pretty annoyed. Harry tells his sister that he was fighting Declan because his mum's going out with Paul. Kate's surprised that Susan or Dan didn't inform her of that little gem. The kids wonder if they should move again. Their day suddenly gets more complicated when the DHS lady (Roz) arrives to have a chat.
Kate and Harry act defensively to every question Roz asks them, but Roz tells them she's on their side. She wants to refer their case to the Children's Court, which will allow them to still live together, but with a few guidelines. One of them being that they must attend school, and another suggestion is that they see a family therapist. The kids aren't keen on that aspect. Roz leaves just as Susan arrives with a basket of laundry (that she got from Sophie earlier). Kate notices that Susan washed her mum's jumper and is devastated that it doesn't smell like her anymore. She angrily tells Susan to leave.
Harold's Store
Lucas hands over plane tickets to Sydney and tells Elle that someone called in to the paper with a lead on Paul. Elle isn't in the mood to chase it up, but when Harry (holding a copy of the paper) comes over and yells at her for causing more misery for his family, she changes her mind.
Number 24
Kate gives Harry two piles of clothes to take into his room and Sophie's.
HARRY: I'm sorry I stuffed things up.
KATE: You haven't stuffed anything up.
HARRY: Right. DHS just drop in 'cause they like hanging out with us.
Harry goes into the hall and promises his sister he won't get into anymore fights. Getting a moment alone, Kate smells her mum's jumper again, trying in vain to pick up her scent. Disappointed that it's gone, Kate throws the jumper in the bin but immediately changes her mind and fishes it out to wear.
Number 22
Donna and Ringo are attempting to study, but their hormones get the better of them and they start kissing. They spring apart when Lucas and Elle walk downstairs, but Lucas laughs and says they're so busted. Donna asks where they're off to. Lucas starts to tell the truth, but Elle lies and says they're off to Sydney on a work-related matter. Donna figures it's about Paul, though, and gives Elle a good luck hug.
Ramsay Street
Harry and Kate stand on their balcony and watch Lucas and Elle talk near #22. Harry remarks on how happy they are when Lucas gives Elle a comforting hug (she's fretting about Paul).
HARRY: Guess they haven't had their picture put on the front of the paper.
KATE: I hate them. I hate this house, I hate this street...
HARRY: Yeah, well where can we go?
KATE: It's so unfair!
Charlie's Bar
Miranda looks very cagey when she stops in to have a chat with Rebecca. She asks what Rebecca's fight with Steve was about earlier, but Rebecca laughs and says they always fight about everything. Suspicious, Miranda wants to know what this particular fight was about but Rebecca insists everything's fine. Miranda leaves in dissatisfaction just as Steve walks in through the other door.
REBECCA: Oh God, you're turning into a stalker Steve Parker.
STEVE: Well you know how to stop me.
He continues his barney with Rebecca in the office, but, feeling hounded, Rebecca starts to cry and says he's probably pleased that she'll never see Paul again. Steve's compassion kicks in and he apologises, giving her a big hug. Returning to collect her misplaced handbag, Miranda sees the embrace and jumps to conclusions of the affair kind. Muah-ha-ha.
Sydney Hotel
Elle and Lucas asks the middle-aged receptionist questions about Paul, but he's not very forthcoming. That is until Elle offers him bribe money - out of Lucas's wallet. Elle and Lucas discover that Paul had been chatting with a woman called Bev Mooney - the ex-wife of Patrick Mooney, who is the Ramsay kids' father.
Bev Mooney's House
Bev is a delightful, snarling bogan of a woman and only vaguely co-operates when Elle reveals that Paul is her father. Bev tells them that Paul only wanted to know about Patrick and the kids, but that was the first time Bev had heard about any kids. Bev adds that Paul mentioned he had unfinished business with Patrick, but she hasn't seen him for 10 years.
Bev drives off leaving Elle and Lucas quite confused as to why Paul would want to find the Ramsay kids' father. But it has proven to Elle that her dad might not be as guilty as she first thought.
ELLE: If he was guilty he would have skipped the country by now.
Donna's Bedroom
Donna leads Ringo in blindfolded. Once unmasked, Ringo's quite surprised to see that she wants to TITTNL™ (what'd that be, like Level 10 for them now?) - not that he's complaining of course! They kiss and Donna tries to rip his buttoned shirt off in one go, which doesn't go according to plan.
DONNA: That always works in the movies! You need to replace all your buttons with Velcro.
More pashing ensues until Donna suddenly remembers that they left the front door open. Elle will kill her if Cat escapes. She rushes downstairs leaving Ringo stuck in the elevator on his way to the next level...
Ramsay Street
Susan sees Kate rush around the corner of #22, holding a full backpack and looking guilty. Susan asks if everything's OK and Kate shiftily says everything's fine.
Donna's Bedroom
Ringo hears the smoke alarm go off downstairs and rushes out to check on Donna.
Ramsay Street
Donna searches for Cat in the bushes and asks Susan and Kate if they've seen it. Kate snarls that she wasn't anywhere near the house and quickly rushes home. Donna and Susan are like, "Mmm... Kay?" before Susan offers to look around her place.
Number 22
The lounge room and kitchen are filled with smoke. Ringo coughs and splutters his way through, desperately calling out for Donna. He falls to the ground, unable to breathe properly.
Ramsay Street
Donna is still looking for Cat when she finally realises that the smoke alarm is going mental. She rushes into the house, yelling for Ringo.
Number 22
Donna finds Ringo lying unconscious on the ground and panics. She screams out for someone to help her.
