Number 24
Ringo is wandering around in a towel on the phone to Susan while Sass makes up a bed for him on the sofa. Ringo tells Susan he's fine and that he's staying at a mate's. Ringo explains to Sass why Karl kicked him out. He thought Zeke was his friend, but your friends don't go messing with your girl. Sass tells him to try not to blame Donna as she's a really mixed up girl. She puts her hand on his leg and tells him to get a good night's sleep.
Number 22
Sam is frantically trying to book a flight to Auckland when Dan arrives at the door with knitting patterns from his mum. He apologises for things getting messy and says he just wants everyone to get along for the baby's sake. He leaves her to her phone call with the promise of coffee the next day. A flash of hopefulness crosses Sam's face but she decides to go ahead and book the flight until she catches sight of the baby patterns and changes her mind.
Number 24
It's early morning and Sam calls around to tell Sass she'll get her the job at the paper as long as she keeps quiet. She explains she's only just found out it's not Dan's and she needs time to work it out. Sass considers and says her secret's safe, but she doesn't want the job. She has other plans...Ringo comes to the door to tell Sass he vacuumed the pool as a thank you for a place to sleep. Sam looks suspicious and leaves.
Tegan and Simon want to go for a swim but are marched to the breakfast table. Ringo gets his things together to leave but Tegan wants him to stay.
Ramsay Street
Outside Donna is looking at her background picture of Ringo on her phone when Ringo comes out of number 24 followed by Tegan and then Sass and Simon. Donna asks him what's going on. Ringo tells her and Donna is appalled that he stayed the night. Ringo calls her a hypocrite and walks away.
DONNA: (helplessly) Nothing happened between me and Zeke.
Number 24
Donna storms in and demands to know if Sass' plan is to steal all her boyfriends. Tegan tells her sister that Ringo slept on the couch.
DONNA: Well no thanks to her I bet.
Sass says that he was very upset about her and "young Zack". Donna tries to explain nothing happened.
DONNA: No no no, stop trying to make this all about me!
SIMON: You're the one doing all the yelling.
SASS: That's right, you are darling. Come on, give mama a hug.
Donna refuses and Sass points out to Tegan and Simon that she tried. Donna asks her siblings if they know why their mother moved to Ramsay Street, to trap Paul Robinson. Simon doesn't believe her, but Tegan doesn't think it's a big deal if she did. Donna realises Tegan knew, Simon looks unimpressed, but that's kind of just his face anyway. Donna flounces out.
Number 22
This time Sam opens the door to Sass. She's thankful her hysterical daughter isn't there because she's come to see Sam and help her with her problem. Sam asks how much she wants, but Sass doesn't want to blackmail her, she wants to be friends because friends help each other.
SAM: Riiiight.... so how can I help you?
Harold's Store
Dan arrives to find Sam knitting which is lucky because he's been to the wool shop and bought every colour under the sun. He senses something is wrong and asks if everything is ok with the baby. The baby is fine, so he asks about her.
SAM: I'm just going to say this.
DAN: O.K.....
SAM: You have to believe me when I tell you that I've only just found out myself.
DAN: Found out what? Sam? Found out what?
SAM: That um...I'm a really...bad knitter.
DAN: Is that is?
He says he couldn't care less. As long as she and the baby are alright, that's all that matters.
Number 22
Donna is still in a filthy mood which doesn't escape Paul's attention.
DONNA: I can't get a hold of Elle and my Mum's a right piece of work!
PAUL: I'd noticed...
DONNA: If you only knew what she was actually up to.
PAUL: What is she up to?
Sam interrupts asking what everyone feels like for lunch. She tells Donna her mum is worried about her. Donna tells her that's a lie. Paul looks intrigued. Sam explains that Sass is hoping they can persuade Donna to move back in with her family.
DONNA: Please don't do this.
PAUL: It's alright Donna, I'm not getting involved in family matters.
SAM: But that's just it, you already are by letting her stay here.
DONNA: You said you would look after me!
SAM: I am.
Sam suggests that Sass deserves another chance. She asks Paul how he would feel if it were Elle.
Harold's Store
My goodness! What is this? Some different characters! My excitement is short lived as one of those characters is Mickey who asks Callum how Clumsy Ugly Boofheads is going? (CUBS - geddit?) Callum tells him he's in Scouts, not Cubs and asks how the SAS is. Shorties and Shorties, aw man, Cal, that's even more lame! Mickey isn't impressed anyway so he launches himself at Callum. Lou, Rebecca and Steve leap to break them up. Lou says he heard Callum being mouthy. Callum protests that Mickey started it. He did! But he is made to apologise. Mickey is also made to apologise as it takes two to tango. Lou sits Callum down and says he thought Scouts were meant to be courteous and kind. Cal explains that he thinks Toadie misses Kelly. Lou says it's his job to cheer him up then.
CALLUM: Don't tell me a scout's meant to be a genius too?
Lou holds up a metal napkin dispenser.
LOU: What do you see?
CALLUM: Er...a napkin holder.
LOU: And...
CALLUM: Napkins?
LOU: What do you see looking back at you?
CALLUM: Me?
LOU: Ah ha, the answer to all your problems.
Ramsay Street
Toadie and Callum are trying to put up a tent with little success, possibly because Callum is instructing Toadie to use the "brighten the gay rope". Steve and Rebecca come to watch and Steve suggests they "tighten the guy ropes". Steph has joined the fun and is amused to see Toadie in a tent. Callum explains they can't go on camp until they know how to pitch a tent.
TOADIE: Steph, you know how to pitch a tent, right?
STEPH: Yeah, not like that....
As Toadie is ready to throw in the towel, Cal appeals to the other grownups to help. He tells Toadie that Scouts are stubborn and don't quit. Toadie decides to call the group leader and give them what for about such stupid rules. Callum protests. On the other end of the phone Cheryl tells Toadie that there are no camps until April. Callum tries to run for it but Toad catches him and apologises for getting his wires crossed. Callum says he must have got his wires crossed too. Still, Scouts are stubborn, they should get back to work. Toadie is suspicious.
Elsewhere on the street, Sass is getting shopping out of her car as Paul pulls into his drive next door. She cunningly tears some of the plastic bags (she must be the only person on Ramsay Street not to use reusable ones!) so that when Paul gets out of the car and she picks up her bags, everything falls out.
PAUL:(laughing) Amateur.
He asks how long she's been waiting for him. She pretends she doesn't know what he's talking about, but Paul warns not to try and con him. It just won't work. Particularly when she doesn't need to. He pulls her up and goes for the pash.
Number 22
It's just not Donna's day. She comes home to find Paul and Sass all cosied up on the sofa. Paul explains that he's been discussing with Sass and he thinks it's best if she moved in with her.
DONNA: No, no I'm not leaving.
PAUL: Well I'm afraid you've got no choice. I'm kicking you out.
SASS: Sweetheart, don't make a scene. Just thank Paul for his hospitality he's been amazing having you for this long.
Donna doesn't know how Paul can't see what she's doing. Sass says she's trying to keep her family together. Paul tells her that families are important and worth fighting for. Donna pleads with him to let her stay, at least until Elle gets back.
DONNA: Can't you see she's just out to get you!
PAUL: What?
DONNA: For your money!
SASS: It was just a matter of time before the lies started.
Donna is defeated and Sass walks her out of the house.
Ramsay Street
Callum, Toadie and Steph survey their handiwork now that the tent is sort of up. They declare it "pretty crumby", but as Toad points out, lucky they have plenty of time to practise. He wants to know what's with the scam. Callum explains it's because of Kelly.
TOADIE: You miss her so you want to keep busy so you're not sad, is that it?
CALLUM: Um, no. I do miss her, but it was actually to keep you busy.
TOADIE: Yeah, you know what? I really am fine and I don't need you looking after my love life.
CALLUM: You sure?
TOADIE: Positive.
STEPH: You know, you guys make a really good team just the two of you anyway.
Toadie agrees, they don't need the gentle hand of woman kind to have fun! As men they are free to rom the House of Trouser in their undies and leave the toilet seat up. Steph asks if Libby is going to be cool with all their gross male behaviour. They concede that the undies time will have to be cut back and the toilet seat thing is an issue.
TOADIE: But we still get to act like emotional cripples.
STEPH: Oh that you do!
Lou arrives with some doughnuts. Goodo.
Charlie's
Donna follows Sam into the bar wanting to know why she changed her mind. Sam says she should be with her mother.
DONNA: Why? She hates me. She hates the fact that she got pregnant young and still blames me because she had to marry Dad. She only wants me around so she can control me.
Sam says that's not true, but Donna still can't understand how Sam could do that to her.
SAM: I had no choice.
DONNA: Why? What has she got over you?
Sam says she was trying to protect her home too. Donna thanks her for nothing and leaves.
Number 24 / The Gym
Donna arrives with her suitcase and sits down in the porch. She gets out her phone and calls Ringo.
Ringo is lifting weights but stops when he phone rings. He sees that it's Donna and ignores her. He starts to delete the photos of her saved on his phone.
Donna also sorrowfully looks at the photos of her and Ringo and deletes them.
Ringo goes back to lifting weights and Donna steals herself to go inside the house.
