Donna opens the letter and Didge hobbles over to her, snatching the letter from her. Didge demands to know what she's doing with it. Donna says she's protecting Rachel and when Didge reads it she has the same OMG reaction Donna did.
Outside and Donna chases after Didge, telling her she can't give Rach the letter. Rachel will think she's a freak. Didge reminds her she already thinks that. Donna says she'd expect Didge to want to save her from this but Didge is adamant you can't steal peoples' mail. She walks off, leaving Donna annoyed.
Susan comes in to find Steph and Libby reading magazines. Steph has found a quiz on how to make a move on that hottie at work. Libby tells her to let her know when she's over it. Steph fires back that at least she knows when she's made a mistake, unlike some people. Libby won't take advice from a pop quiz but Steph won't take advice from someone who makes eyes at a guy for six months and does nothing beyond that. Libby says Steph just reels Toad in to throw him back and Steph says Lib won't allow herself to be happy. Susan decides to bring an end to this charming exchange and she and Lib leave.
Lib is now at the gym, with the phys ed class and Fitzy. Libby decides to demonstrate situps and Fitzy does the supporting.

In Rachel's bedroom all three girls stare at the envelope. Rachel finally says that she just wanted to hear from him. She cries and Didge comforts her.
Toad comes in to take Steph home and she cuddles into him, surprising Toad. Then she takes his hand and tells him how glad she is to see him. She wants to buy him dinner but Toad says although he's happy to help out, she shouldn't make it more than it is. Steph understands; Nicola. Nicola comes in with Steph's discharge papers and is confused when Steph thanks her for letting her take up so much of Toad's time. She begins to tell her something but Toad stops her. Steph steps out. Nicola asks him what he's doing.
TOADIE: Looking after myself.
He kisses her cheek and leaves.
Now Toadie, Ollie and Fitzy are getting fit. Amazingly they all finish their workouts exactly when the music stops. Uncanny. Fitzy spots Libby picking up a heavy weight and says she might want to try something lighter first - just a suggestion.
LIBBY: Right. Well you might want to let me get on with it. Just as a suggestion.
She almost drops one and Dan gets in there to stop it from falling. Libby is very annoyed and announces to the whole gym that a crisis has been averted - Dan saves the day again! She tells him she doesn't need rescuing. He says he'll stop it if that's what he wants. She says it is.
Rachel's reading but her gaze drifts over to the envelope. She imagines hearing Angus' voice in her head, saying they're destined to be together and how he's had a lot of time to think. As his words collide together Zeke appears and she angrily asks what he wants, before apologising. He gives her the ring and says he wasn't going to give it to her. She tells him about the letter. He asks her to give it to him so he can chuck it out since she can't but Rachel needs to hear from him. She's scared. He asks what's she's going to do.
