Recap
Fitzy asks Karl if he encouraged Sam to go off her meds so she could conceive; Karl says no.
Detective Skinner asks Karl if he heard Steve threaten Chris
Spotting Rachel's necklace, Didge remembers the one Chris gave her
Declan finds the necklace near where Chris was found, just as Didge appears
Lassiter's
Didge demands the necklace back but Declan's more concerned about where he found the necklace. He assures her he's on her side but she says she dropped it there this morning, when she went there to clear her head. She runs off, leaving Declan looking after her helplessly.
Number 30
Fitzy chases Sam. He's in peak physical condition thanks to all that footy and Sam's glad to hear it as she thinks he'll be a daddy in nine months time. He reminds her it might not happen right away. She says it doesn't mean they have to stop trying. Fitzy looks troubled as she kisses him.
General Store
Sienna tells Carmy of her plans to hit the clubs that evening but Carm's not interested - she's a mother now. Libby overhears this and is outraged - you have to be able to let your hair down once in a while. She does some daggy disco dancing which Carmy finds cringe worthy, then she and Sienna decide that they're all going out (and there has to be some Coyote Ugly action in there too!) Carmy reluctantly agrees.
Number 32
Lyn looks over pics of Toadie and Steph and tells Steph again that she let a good thing go by. If she'd been here then maybe she could have talked her around. Steph tells her it's done and she's living with it. Lyn wonders if she's actually happy. Steph thinks she surely has enough drama going on in her own life without worrying about hers. Lyn gets teary and Steph apologises. Lyn thinks she's made a terrific mess of her life.
LYN: Stephie, it's like I don't know what to think anymore, y'know? I wanna get on with things, get on with life. It's sorta like I don't know how.
Steph hugs her.
Charlie's
Miranda thinks herself a fool for loving such a stupid, stubborn, brave proud man like her Steve. They kiss. Didge comes in and Steve hugs her before telling her of his plan to have a family dinner and DVD. Karl comes in and tells them that he had to tell the cops that he threatened Chris at the hospital. Steve says he understands but won't stay and have a drink with him.
Then Mozzie, Chris' best mate, barges into Steve and asks what happened. Didge tells him to leave her dad alone and Mozzie says Chris would still be alive if it wasn't for her. There's a scuffle but Karl breaks it apart, telling Mozzie it won't bring his mate back. Mozzie says he isn't going to forget about it.
Steve thanks Karl and takes him up on the offer of a drink.
Park
Declan catches up with Didge and she tells him about Mozzie. Declan tells her that a lot of the Dingoes team won't be turning up for training until Steve resigns. Declan wants to talk them around. Steve taught him how to deal with aggression and he wouldn't do something like this. Didge says of course he wouldn't. Declan wants to know more but Didge would rather he gets off her case. Does he like her again? Is he jealous Chris took her to the formal? She tells him to get over it - and himself.
General Store
Sam coos over Chloe. Carmy is awaiting Oliver and tells Sam that she's going out. Libby comes in, having been to the pharmacy for Ben, and tells them Susan is going to sit through both High School Musicals with Ben while they hit the town. Sam decides to get going, picking up her pharmacy package. She and Lib bump into each other as Sienna comes through the door and they drop their bags. Libby picks one up but it's not hers - it contains a pregnancy test. She hands it to Sam with an uneasy look on her face.
Number 26
Lou tells Steve that someone else isn't coming to training. Steve says half of his clients have cancelled on him. Lou understands why he did what he did - he'd do the same if Lolly was concerned. Steve appreciates his support and Lou says they've been good to him. Steve discovers the bills have been paid - Lou settled them, just this once. Steve smiles.
Number 28
Karl lets Steph in and Steph takes the opportunity to talk to Susan about Lyn. She tells her Lyn's down and she's scared she's heading for a breakdown. Susan admits she's been avoiding her and didn't want to burden her with her problems - she hadn't realised Lyn might need her. Libby appears and they leave.
Charlie's
Then follows a really cringey slo-mo scene as the girls walk into the bar, all dolled up. It's like they're trying to do Sex And The City in a Neighbours style. Carmy calls Oliver again and Libby decides to confiscate her phone - it's for her own good. They all agree that they want to do more nights out and they toast how fabulous they are before doing some dancing. They dance the Cammeniti 12 step, just as Fitzy and Sam come in. Sam goes to get a table as Fitzy and Libby share their 100th lingering look.
Footy Oval
The Dingoes remember Chris - Fitzy tells them to do this for Knighty. Then Steve appears, to some applause. But he isn't sticking around; he's retiring and Lou's taking over until they find someone new.
Once Steve has gone, they all look glum and Declan says it sucks. He thinks the rest of the team will come round, even though half of them didn't turn up. He keeps arguing Steve's corner. Are they just going to let him walk away? Is that what being a team's all about?
Ramsay Street
Steve finds Mozzie and his merry gang awaiting him. Mozzie tells him he's going to pay what he did. The courts won't do - he and his crew are going to show him some real justice now his mates aren't around to help him.
Just then Steve's mates turn up.
MOZZIE: This has nothing to do with you lot. Just rack off.
RINGO: We live here. How about you rack off?
Mozzie says it isn't over, then leaves. Steve thanks the fellas. Declan says the club can get whoever they want but Steve will always be their coach.
General Store
Fitzy spots Libby and they talk about her and the gals tearing up the dance floor. Fitzy then mentions the mixup with the bags and Libby assures him their secret is safe with her - she thinks they'll be great parents. Fitzy thanks her and Libby leaves. Fitzy stands there, uneasy.
Rebecchi Cammeniti
A teary Sam holds her pregnancy stick, checking it against the leaflet, then sadly throws it in the bin. Libby comes in, looking for Toadie. Sam blows her nose and Libby spots the pregnancy test box. She asks if congratulations are in order and Sam pauses for a moment before saying yes. Libby thinks it's great - Dan's going to be so happy!
After ads Libby agrees to keep it to herself and gives Sam a hug. Rebecca walks in, asking if congratulations are in order (she saw the pregnancy test earlier). Sam smiles and gives an unenthusiastic yes before promising to keep it quiet.
Ramsay Street
Didge catches Dec before he goes to the park. Lou told her about him sticking up for her dad. Declan says it wasn't right for him to just walk away. Besides, he has this feeling that he didn't do it. He asks if he's taking the blame for her. Didge says it was an accident and he can't tell anyone. He says he won't - she can trust him. Didge thanks him and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
General Store
Ollie recounts the Dingoes rocking up to Ramsay Street to confront Mozzie's gang - it was like something out of a western. Rebecca walks in with Sam and spots Ollie, Carmy, Ellle and Chloe sitting together. She goes gooey over Chloe and tells Sam to have a look. Carmy asks what the not-very-subtle look Rebecca shot at Sam was for and they say nothing but she already knows - Sam must be pregnant! Elle congratulates her and Ollie wonders if Dan buys them cigars or if they're to get him one. Sam looks very unhappy and Elle picks up on this.
