Steph and Charlie arrive home to find Toadie's gear all packed. Whilst he is really pleased to see Charlie, the same can't be said about Steph and the situation is very strained. She asks him not to move out, to use the spare room, but he is insistent that he is leaving. Before leaving though, he stuns Steph by asking her for formal access to Charlie.
TOADIE: I want access to Charlie. I want us to have an agreement that I can still spend time with him.
STEPH: I'd never stop you from spending time with him, you know that.
TOADIE: No I don't and I don't know what you want or what you think, that's why we're in this position in the first place. I love Charlie and I want to do all that I can for him. So can we talk about that?
(Later)
Steph reiterates that she won't stop him from seeing Charlie especially since the wee man talked about him all the time while they were away. She is however against his suggestion of a written agreement.
STEPH: Toadie we're always going to be friends, always.
Toadie isn't quite so sure and kisses Charlie bye before heading out of the house totally ignoring Steph.

Frazer invites them to join himself and Rosie at Charlie's but while Dan wants to knock back the invitation, Sam is keen to go.

Meanwhile at the table, Rosie's mobile goes off and she makes her excuses as she has to head to work and Dan makes his apologies too, and heads towards the bar where he asks Libby if they can talk.

Paul arrives but perhaps wishes he hadn't when Rebecca sounds off at him, annoyed at being shut out of the decisions surrounding the class action. He offers her another option - staying at home and looking after their child.
REBECCA: Um Paul, I really don't know whether you are serious or not but given the fact that you keep mentioning this, I just want to say this more time - I'm happy being a grandma!
Paul accepts her reasoning and is happy to play along as long as they can keep practicing for one! She rejects this offer for now as she has work to do and Paul begrudgingly slopes off back to work.

Toadie is pleased about what she said about Charlie and that's it as far as it goes, he's not ready to let her into his life again but does concede to letting Steph try.

Dan escorts Sam back to her room even though she says it wasn't required. Sam remarks on what a small world it is what with him sharing a room with Rosie... a pregnant Rosie at that. She is puzzled when he asks if she is okay with the baby talk.
SAM: I'm not made of glass Dan. Lots of women have miscarriages, life goes on.
Dan brings up her bi-polar coming on after she lost the baby at 6 months but she is quick to say that she is all better and stable now... but there's one thing missing and tells Dan that she loves him and she is pretty sure that he loves him.
SAM: Please, can we just give this another go?
