Rosie telling Chloe she is going to be the best Auntie she could ever hope for.
Frazer overhearing the rest of the conversation where she adds that she couldn't go through what her sister has just done because she is so scared.
Carmella telling Marco she only has room for Chloe in her life.
Everyone hearing, when the music stops, Janae telling Darren that she should tell Libby what they did.

Everyone is sitting stunned at what was said and Susan asks what should Libby know but before Darren can say it, Janae comes out and says that it meant nothing.
KARL: What meant nothing?
DARREN: (after a pause) Eh, we kissed. Just once. It really was nothing.

Rosie tries her best to do the dishes while being “interrogated” by Steph and Libby over her ‘no kids' speech she gave to Chloe. Both are trying to convince her not to close her mind (to having kids). Rosie isn't a smart lawyer for nothing though and turns the conversation round to ask Steph when she and Toadie are planning on having family but Steph is rather non-committal.
The chat is interrupted though when Carmella calls to say that Chloe can stay in her room overnight. Despite Rosie being very happy, the way she is talking Libby and Steph get the wrong end of the stick and think something has happened to Chloe, but breathe a huge sigh of relief after ending the call, Rosie explains that Chloe is out of the NICU.
Darren enters the kitchen and asks if he can get some privacy, so a bemused Steph and Rosie head outside.
DARREN: You should know...I kissed Janae.
Libby looks absolutely stunned at the news which has just been delivered.

Janae explains to Toadie that she was just trying to do the right thing but Ned doesn't think so when he comes over to say he is taking Mickey home for a bath. Toadie says that they will have to talk at some point and that she knows here he is if she needs him.
Janae then faces Steph and she asks her former stepdaughter-in-law if its true but I think Steph can see it is from the look on Janae's face before she too decides to head home.

Darren is explaining the background to the kiss to Libby. She asks if it was just like with Linda, which he denies, but digs himself into a deeper hole when he lets slip that it was Janae who pulled away first. Lib asks if it would have gone further but he replies no, replying that he wouldn't make the same stupid mistake twice.
Rebecca comes by with supplies for Carmella and tells her about the party… and that Marco was there. Carmella's head goes down at the mention of his name and tells Rebecca that it was she who sent him packing.
Changing the subject totally, Rebecca asks if she is looking forward to getting home tomorrow but Carmella isn't because it means leaving Chloe behind. Rebecca points out that she can spend all day with her daughter at the hospital but does understand where she is coming from not having your child with you 24/7. The two then bond more when Rebecca tells Carmella to unload on her when she wants to talk about Chloe instead of boring everyone else.

To say Karl is furious about what Darren has done to Libby would be the understatement of the year! Steve, Miranda and Toadie try to calm him down and Miranda suggests she takes Susan home (because she doesn't look too good) but Susan isn't budging until she knows that Libby is alright.

Very calmly, Libby is telling Darren how it is going to be.
LIBBY: Here's what's going to happen. You are going to stay away from my family and friends. You will not see my parents… and you will not and any contact with Ben.
Darren gives her a look and she continues by saying “you cheated him too”.
Darren begs her but she orders him out of her life.
Janae and Ned are trying to explain to Mickey what is happening but without trying to actually say what happened. He however can see through their too-united front that something isn't right (“will you two get real”) but they manage to change the subject onto his choice of phrases when Riley (who told him the phrase) arrives. They try sending him off for his bath but relent to allow him to take Jake for a walk with Riley.
The duo head to the kitchen and Janae asks how Libby is and Miranda replies that it looks like it is all over between her and Darren but goes on to say that she is more worried for Susan who didn't look so good.
Janae takes this to heart and heads back through to the living room with Ned where they end up having an argument over the whole thing.

Darren is sitting alone by the pool and Lou decides to go over and talk to him. After asking how he is, Darren replies that is glad his mum isn't around to see how he turned out.
LOU: She would probably given you a clip round the ear and a big hug.
He then goes onto say that “none of us are perfect mate” before Darren asks if he forgave Cheryl when she cheated on him and if she'd been alive would he have taken her back. Lou replies that things are different because she had a child by another man, so Darren asks if it were only a kiss what then? “I don't know” replies Lou before adding ‘maybe' and ‘eventually'.
Toadie joints them at this point and Darren seems to think that if he gives Libby time she will cool down and give her a second chance.
TOADIE: She already did. You blew it. You aren't going to get a third.
Ramsay Street (evening)
Ignoring Karl's wrath for being outside and not resting, she wants to talk to him about Libby (and his fussing) because it's stressing her out. He agrees to go easy and as she heads inside, Steve comes out with his wheelie bin and goes over to ask if things between them are okay following what happened. Karl replies that he hadn't even considered Steve's perspective (his honorary sister-in-law kissing his son-in-law) before asking now Ned is in all of this.
Steve replies that Ned is okay now since he has had time to think it through. Oops, Karl is not at all amused to find out that they all knew he did and has a go at Steve about it. Unfortunately for Darren he attempts at that moment to want to see Libby but it's a case of ‘over my dead body' as far as Karl is concerned and upon realising this, Steve volunteers to take Darren to a motel.
As they are heading to Steve's car, Darren spots Janae coming down the driveway and sarcastically asks:
DARREN: Happy now? Conscience clear?
Janae doesn't reply and he enters Steve's car and Janae silently shakes her head when Karl looks at her.
Carmella is holding Chloe but passes her over to grandma as the two continue to bond over being single parents. Rebecca reassures her that being a single parent isn't quite the horror everyone makes out, she also adds that she coped being alone although she did miss adult conversation.
REBECCA: You won't raise Chloe alone, you've got me, and Oliver and Declan and Rosie and
CARMELLA: I get it!
Carmella agrees to call anytime she needs help, “it's important,” adds Rebecca.
Janae sees that Miranda is sound asleep on the couch as she tries to leave with her bags packed but just as she is about to reach for the handle, Steve arrives home and tells her that running away isn't going to solve anything. Not surprisingly Miranda has now woken up, and Janae reminds them that she isn't 15 anymore and she isn't running away, just leaving. Miranda asks if she has talked things through with Ned but Janae doesn't want to cause a scene.
After a bit of prodding, Janae also reveals one of her reasons for leaving – she has felt like an outside in the house since her family left. She quickly reassures Miranda that it isn't them adding that she doesn't think about it when things are going well does when there is a problem. Deciding that she has done enough talking, she tells them to tell Ned that she is sorry before exiting the house.
Toadie gives Steph a piggyback as they arrive home with Steph remarking that at the next party she is going to leave early to avoid the clearing up! He asks if she will call Libby and Steph replies that she will once she has calmed down a bit but their chat is interrupted by someone knocking at the door – its Janae with her bags.
Janae asks if she can crash on their couch and tells Steph that Ned didn't kick her out, she left. Steph looks like she wants to tear strips off Janae but Toadie steps in to say that although Libby is their friend, Janae is family so she is welcome to stay.
A random male nurse pops in to remind Carmella that visiting time is over and if she needs anything. She replies that grandma just left and she'll buzz if she needs anything. The poor guy isn't 2 seconds out of the room when Rebecca comes out from behind the curtain that separates the room for their girls' night in complete with chocolate and cable TV.
Ned comes through from Mickey's room and not seeing Janae, asks if she has turned in for the night and Steve breaks it to him that she has gone. “Where,” asks Ned and Steve thinks Toadie's. Ned is totally puzzled over Janae just leaving and Riley suggests she needs time to sort herself out and Steve continues the same theme by saying he sure it is only temporary and that the two of them will sort it out because they love each other.
NED: Yes we do. She's got the biggest heart ever. You know she gave us all a home when we needed one. She loves Mickey. She always sees the best in everyone. (pause) So why then is it always so hard?
Just as depressed, Janae sits alone on the couch before Steph brings in some bedding for her. She is still playing things very cool with her former stepdaughter-in-law and Janae asks that she talks to her and Steph struggles for words before eventually coming up with something.
STEPH: Why, why did you do it? I mean Darren yes for sure there's no big surprise but you?! And you know how it feels to be cheated on.
JANAE: It was just one stupid kiss. (Deep breath) That's all it was. I was so angry with Ned I just… I wanted to hurt him.
STEPH: Yes well you certainly did that.
JANAE: I hurt so many people.
Janae starts to cry and Steph's resolve weakens slightly as if caught between a rock and a hard place before she turns and walks out of the living room.
As “Start Today Tomorrow” by Youth group begins to play in the background, we have a montage of scenes between Janae lying on the new couch unable to sleep, Ned sitting in number 26 with the TV unable to sleep too, to Darren sitting at a table in Charlie's as the other patrons drink up and leave, and finally to Libby sitting on the sofa at number 28 with a sleeping Ben lying in her lap before finally breaking down.
It is an excellent montage and the lyrics seem to totally blend in with the scenes as we head into the preview.
There is also an addition to the permanent cast – Chloe Cammeniti: Sarah May.
