Okay there are some updated titles today and here goes as they go past very quickly!
We start off with Steph and Toadie in the photo booth followed by Carmella and Marco before cutting to them walking along the pier. Sitting on the pier we have Rosie, Ringo, Frazer and Daniel. Steph and Toadie pushing the bike on the pier, the Kennedy-Kinski family in the dinghies followed by their photo booth shots. The Parker family and Riley & Didge photo booth shots before the Parker family capering again. Harold and Lou outside the beach hut before Ned, Janae and Mickey on the carousel followed by their photo booth shot. Harold & Lou in the photo booth followed by a single shot of Libby, Libby & Ben having a picnic, the Robinson/Napier's having dinner before heading back to the photo booth for shots of Rebecca and her boys. The number 30 crew of Frazer & Rosie, Ringo, Daniel and Carmella & Marco in the photo booth before going back to Daniel in the photo booth as the photo's fall down and this time they are - Daniel, Steph & Toadie, Karl & Susan, the Parker family. Phew!
Judge's chambers in downtown Melbourne
A nice new view of Melbourne we see before it cuts to the Judge's chambers and Toadie putting forward the deal he did with Cynthia. The judge asks where Susan is and is told she is unavailable...
Hospital
...That is because we cut to the hospital and Susan being told she's been having TIA's which to us non-medical people is a temporary lack of blood supply to the brain (aka mini-strokes).
Judge's chambers
Cynthia confirms to the judge that she is in favour of the deal Toadie put forward and wants the sentence to be a year's custodial sentence suspended for 3 years.
Hospital
The doc tells Susan they need to investigate why the clots are being formed so the right medication can be prescribed. Susan asks if this is good news but the doc replies "not entirely" before warning that she is still at risk of a major stroke...particularly in the next few months.
Judge's chambers
Toadie and Cynthia exit the chambers and tell the Parkers of the deal. Didge looks pleased.
Hospital
In a wordless scene, we see a stunned Susan absorbing the news she has just been told before Karl grips her hand for support.
No. 28
Rachel arrives home early from Canberra and is surprised that nobody is home. Ringo enters after seeing her arrive and wants to talk to her but she is eager to get to court so he breaks it to her that Susan is in hospital.
Hospital
Susan & Karl exit the consulting room and he gives her a big hug just as Toadie arrives to tell them that she is a free woman after the judge accepted the deal. Susan hugs him but he picks up on Karl's lack of a celebration and wants to know what is wrong with Susan.
Rebecchi/Cammeniti Law Firm
Toadie and Rosie discuss Susan's diagnosis and the explanation of her having one in the car hence why she didn't notice. Rosie wants them to have a debrief over the whole case, more particularly him not planning on turning up, but he tries to avoid it until Rosie reminds him that they are in a partnership, and his actions affect her too so what he was planning to do was totally unacceptable.
TOADIE: (Nonchalantly) Okay, yes it was unprofessional and I should have consulted you. Can we move on?
Hospital
Rachel runs into the hospital and spots Zeke but he can't tell her any news but just at that Karl and Susan appear and after the compulsory hugs the two of them tell the kids what the doctor said. They don't go into much detail, trying to play it down as much as possible and while Susan ushers the kids telling Rachel about what happened in court, Karl remains where he is standing looking pensive.
Ramsay Street
Declan approaches Ringo to see why he isn't at school and he replies that he has a free and promises to see him at lunch when Didge calls him over after the Parker family arrive home.
As he meets her, she tells him about remembering the fight they had on the day of the accident and why he has been asking questions about him hating her. She says that the accident is nobodies fault and asks him to be mates again with her, which he agrees to with a 'high five'.
Charlie's
Valda puts a $10k cheque payable to Carmella into an envelope and writes her name on it but quickly hides it when Steph appears carrying her divorce papers from Max. Valda tries joking with her before asking if she has any regrets.
STEPH: No, no, no. No regrets it just makes it so final that's all.
All talk of the papers is curtailed when Steph spots Toadie arriving in the bar and wondering why he isn't out celebrating with Rosie but he replies that he isn't in the mood. Valda makes herself scarce to allow Steph to quiz Toadie and he tells her about having it out with Rosie over him possibly not appearing for court. She wonders why it is being brought up given the end result but he says it was pure luck that Bridget's memory came back.
STEPH: You're being way too hard on yourself and Rosie is way out of line.
TOADIE: No she's not. My performance was a disgrace from beginning to end.
No. 26
Didge is surprised to see Declan on the doorstep and he launches into a spiel about him not being happy that they are mates again... so they can give each other another try and asks her out to a movie sometime. Aww. Didge is stunned happy and agrees to go out with him even if he doesn't want to call it a date!
Charlie's
Marco arrives singing at Carmella trying to get compliments out of her but she ignores him as she is working and rejects his offer of help. He peeves her off though by telling her that he called round her customers to see if they'd be happy with only one delivery a day instead of the two she is currently providing so she can rest up.
Meanwhile over at the bar Toadie is highlighting an advert in the paper for building labourers and Steph is surprised when she comes over. He can't see what is wrong especially at the prospect of having sausage rolls at 10am! Steph asks what is going on in his head and he replies "a minor revolution" explaining that this sudden course is nothing to do with Rosie but simply a change in career.
STEPH: I'm thinking brain explosion.
Toad explains that it's obvious he can't handle high-pressured situations and so wants to do something the complete opposite - mindless physical labour. Steph reminds him he handled the panic attack but Toadie adds not before he made some bad decisions. She tries to reassure him that he is a good lawyer but he isn't for changing his mind despite Steph's best efforts.
The General Store
Carmella comes in with the veggies and tries to talk to Rosie about the good result for Susan but she isn't in the mood for talking about it and changes the subject onto Marco. Camry doesn't want to talk about that and thankfully Valda rescues her but Rosie teases her as she leaves saying she will get a full report later.
Carmella asks how the website is going and Valda breaks it to her about the hosts going belly up and hands her the $10k cheque although Carmella moans that it is only half.
Ramsay Street
The Kinski-Kennedys arrive home and Karl notices that Zeke is rather quiet but he doesn't explain himself before heading into the house and Karl tells Susan that she doesn't need to put on a front in front of the kids (she was trying to get Zeke interested in watching the 99 Grand Final). Susan replies that she doesn't want to burden them with another illness and adds that now she knows what is wrong, she isn't going to wallow and they can celebrate instead the case being over and her not going to jail.
Harold spots them and goes over to say how pleased he is to see her home as Karl sees a car heading up Ramsay Street...
Now rewind back to literally 3 years and a week ago when we heard Charlton Hill's dulcet tones singing 'Raincloud' as Libby said goodbye to her neighbours, friends and her mum before driving off in the white van to Shepparton to begin her new life with Darren there well guess who has just driven up Ramsay Street in a red car... yes its Libby and she's back! Woohoo!
Karl heads for the rear doors and grandson Ben - introducing him to Mr Bishop while Libby exits and runs to her mum. Mother and daughter hug as the tears flow freely with no words required at their reunion. Welcome back Libby!
No. 28
Ben is showing off his musical talent entertaining the Kinski-Kennedys and Harold as he "plays" a mini-tuba until Libby calls time.
Libby chats to Harold and her dad about the case and the verdict before Karl breaks it to her about what happened at the hospital. Lib is immediately concerned but Susan comes over and calms her down before she volunteers to make some tea to go with Susan's favourite Portuguese tarts from a shop in Shepparton.
Before he leaves, Harold asks Libby how long she is staying for and where Darren is and she deflects answering about Darren instead saying she is sticking around for as long as Susan needs her. Rachel screws her face up, her nose obviously being put out of joint!
The General Store
Carmella breaks it to Marco about the website hosts going belly up and shows him the $10k cheque that is left of their investment promising to pay him back the rest. He refuses to accept her offer, saying he was in it for the long haul and thinks he could get a cousin to do the work for the $10k instead and isn't taking 'no' for an answer from her.
Rebecchi/Cammeniti Law Firm
"Sue them all, sue them all" shouts Libby as she enters Toadie's office. He is surprised to see her but wastes no time in welcoming her back with a big hug before catching up on the Billy & Anne gossip. They talk briefly about Susan's diagnosis before Toadie tells her to say to Darren that it is beer and footy at his joint on Friday. Lib replies that he is still in Shepparton before changing subject completely onto his new relationship with Steph, which receives the thumbs up from her.
Rosie enters the office and Toadie does the intros with Libby before she leaves them to it promising to talk later. With the office to themselves, Rosie apologises for what she said to him but he is fine with it.
No. 26
Rachel and Didge catch up on the gossip over Jessica getting detention with Ringo (Rachel is more than miffed although she doesn't say so) before Didge tells her about making up with Declan and him asking her out. In the kitchen, Miranda has overheard this and just about chokes on her cuppa and she interrupts the girls' conversation to have word with her daughter.
The General Store
Carmella is moaning at her sister about Marco's help in her business and isn't getting any sympathy at all so plays her trump card - telling Rosie that she kissed Marco...several times.
ROSIE: You lucky, lucky, lucky girl!
Carmella doesn't feel lucky though as she gives out an anguished "mmm" to her sister.
No. 26
Miranda is not happy at Didge going on a date with Declan and lays it on thick why not.
BRIDGET: Okay you win. I really, really, really like him but you don't want me to go so I won't. I won't go against your wishes.
Miranda gives into Didge turning on the sad puppy dog eyes and mannerism to consent to them going on a date to the cinema but it has to be during the day. Didge kisses her mum on the cheek before heading through to the livingroom.
"Masterful mum" Riley pipes up as Miranda finishes writing a card to go with some flowers she has bought Susan. She admits that she is nervous and decides to have a cuppa before going over with them.
Rebecchi/Cammeniti Law Firm
Steph hears from the open door to Toadie's office him enquiring about a job in the paper but waits until he's finished the call before entering his office. Toadie immediately tries to get her off the scent by telling Steph that Libby is in town and it works for a bit but they soon get round to talking about Toadie wanting to quit. He is all for and continues to put himself down and Steph tries to make a deal with him to give it 6 more months and if he still feels the same way she'll support him having a career change and jokes with him that she'd rather date a lawyer than a brick lawyer.
Rebecchi/Cammeniti Law Firm
"You're what?" asks Rosie as we head back to the law firm after the last commercial break to find Toadie giving Rosie a heads up about him planning on quitting. He promises to talk later about the practicalities but Rosie isn't letting him out of the office until they talk!
Ramsay Street
Miranda makes her way towards No. 28 with the card and flowers but is met at the end of the path by their guard dog, sorry Zeke, who isn't at all amused at her wanting to see Susan in the aftermath of the diagnosis. He bluntly tells Miranda that Susan could have a stroke at any moment, which shocks Miranda and he tells her to come back another time or more preferable never!
And as we have new titles there is also some changes to the credits too. Joining the permanent cast are Libby Kennedy - Kym Valentine, Ben Kirk - Blake O'Leary (Mickey's RL brother!), Marco Silvani - Jesse Rosenfeld and Valda Sheergold - Joan Sydney.
