Recap
Pepper telling Ringo that she thinks he has an eating disorder.
Marco asking after Carmella's family and saying he'll have to keep his eye on her.
Rebecchi Cammeniti
We're in Rosie's office and Carmella is asleep on the sofa in there. Rosie tries to wake her but, quite disturbingly and to Rosie's surprise, Carmella rolls over and says "Marco". She denies it and tries to hide away. Rosie tells her that she can't stay here all night or Toadie will begin to charge her rent.
The General Store
Harold is rambling to Rachel about the book she's reading. Ringo winds up Rachel about going to nerd camp, and Rachel gives as good as she gets and calls Ringo a fitness freak - offering him some muffin. He awkwardly declines. They agree to go and see a film and Ringo says as long as it isn't a novel adaptation he'll go.
Harold tries to get Lou off the laptop - he's trying to create a homepage for them. Lou walks over to the table and explains to Lou that he needs help. Lou thinks they're living in the past with the way things are. It's clear he's motivated by money and asks what else is there? As Lou lists off a list of important things (children, friends, family etc) Lou asks Harold to skip the motivational speech. Valda comes in and hands out flyers to Lou and Harold for her launch later.

Carmella shows Rosie the box of fruit gift baskets - one of Marco's ideas. Carmella admits that when it arrived she thought it was a gift, and now she kind of wishes it was. Uh oh - busted! She loves Marco! She asks Rosie to help her fight her feelings as she's trying to make purely practical decisions from now on. Rosie just laughs.
Number 26
Ned and Janae are trying to find time that they can spend together and having a hard time as they're both busy at different times. Steve comes in and Janae leaves, unimpressed that they can't find time to be together. Ned explains to Steve what's going on, briefly. However, Steve picks up on the implied message (don't we all) and understands that they lack time to "be themselves". Ned gives in and asks Steve what to do. Steve's advice? Look for every window of opportunity and to make use of his extended family.
The General Store
Rosie is trying to get her head around Carmella's decision to have nothing to do with Marco. Rosie thinks Carmella should just have a few laughs with him and see how it goes.
Charlie's
Toadie and Frazer are helping Valda with some boxes. When Valda is unsure where they should go they both drop the boxes and she tells them to be careful - it's all quality merchandise. Frazer holds up a large bra and comments that it's certainly substantial. Valda explains that it's for the substantially figured woman. Toadie and Frazer keep moving boxes.
Steve and Didge walk in and Valda tells him that the launch doesn't start quite yet but they're welcome to wait. Steve checks it'll be OK for the "impressionably audience" (I.e. Didge) to which Valda says everything is in the best taste. They take their seats, near the back. Didge sarcastically comments on what a great outing this was and despite Steve's efforts to explain that it's about community, Didge maintains it'll be psychologically scarring and she's only doing it for Ned and Janae and their "us" time. Ooooh!
Valda comments to Toadie and Frazer that it's good that Bridget is up and about, to which they agree she is brave to come to a show such as this. Valda wants to set up the PA system, to which Toadie is surprised she can afford.
Number 30
Ringo comes through to the kitchen where Pepper offers him fruit - he takes some just to stop her moaning. Pepper is marking Ringo's essay - which he failed. Pepper thinks he should start he enhancement course, which Ringo doesn't like the sound of. Pepper persuades him otherwise and that he should cancel his plans with Rachel for the evening to get back on track.
RINGO: What is it with you? Why can't you get your own life and butt out of mine?
PEPPER: Well, if we're trading insults the why don't you find yourself some guts and do something about your marks and stop pretending your so dumb instead of just plain lazy. How does that sound?
Ringo says he's sorry her dad is sick and she must be worried about him. She says she is, but that has nothing to do with wanting to help Ringo.
Charlie's
Janae, Ned and Mickey walk in and Janae wants to know what Ned is so happy about. He simply says that they're supporting Valda's undies and doing a good thing. At Janae's puzzled look he says he'll explain later and she walks off somewhere leaving Steve to chat with Ned wondering why he's there as he got the house empty especially for him. Ned says Janae wanted to support Valda, but thanks to Steve they have all afternoon!
Valda hands Toadie some cue cards with what to say on them. He's confused as to why he's doing it and she isn't, but Valda says she has to look after the bigger picture.
Susan walks in, sees Bridget and goes over to her looking uncomfortable. Bridget makes a comment about her nutty dad making her get out of the house.
SUSAN: So, erm, how's it going?
BRIDGET: Getting there. How about you?
SUSAN: I'm just so sorry.
BRIDGET: It's alright.
SUSAN: No, no it's not.
BRIDGET: It was an accident. No-ones to blame and I don't blame you.
Susan looks relieved and Bridget asks her to sit down - she doesn't want to watch this with her dad. Riley sees them together and wants to do something but Steve holds him back.
Rosie invited Marco to the launch and, much to Carmella's fury at her sister, she moves allowing Marco to sit near Carmella. Rosie explains that Valda was the inspiration behind Carmella's idea to go online so it could be very educational for them both.
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, the lights dim and the show begins...Toadie introduces it and the singer to launch it Robyn Laou. She sings and we watch her and her backing singers kind of sway as they sing and the audience look on. Her song fades into the background and Toadie introduces each item one by one. Valda is modelling one of the products and although the camera doesn't show her the residents all look a bit shocked. Toadie's speech goes a little like this...
TOADIE: Please welcome...Valda?! As the lovely Valda spins around you'll see the accompanying knickers are A THONG CUT?!
MICKEY: Wouldn't that be uncomfortable?
Janae takes him to get a drink and Toadie introduces the next model.
Number 28
Ringo has come to apologise to Rachel but he can't make the movies - he feels ill. Rachel offers to stay at his but he says he's going straight to bed because he feels so bad. Cleary not believing him, Rachel suggests going to see a doctor. Ringo says maybe kisses her on the cheek and then leaves.
Charlie's
Back at Charlie's when the show is over everyone is looking a little worse for wear!! Frazer is sitting next to Riley, staring in front of him in a daze. Riley also looks a bit out of sorts!
FRAZER: My eyes...
RILEY: Ahh, nuh. I think it's er, a good thing, you know, empowering women to feel...sexy.
Riley goes to get a drink and Oliver comes in and speaks to Frazer.
OLIVER:(very upbeat) Hi! Did I miss anything good?
FRAZER: My eyes...
Frazer gets up and leaves - still looking dazed.
All the models come out and are clapped by everyone. Ned talks to Janae explaining that they need to get going because Steve is taking Didge and everyone out. Janae can't believe Ned told his brother they needed time together but Ned says Steve understands. Janae urns around and Steve smiles.
JANAE: There are some things that brothers should not share!
NED: Desperate times, desperate measures.
Ned and Janae leave.
Marco gives Carmella a drink and she talks about her cushion baby that has size 14 feet. She encourages him to touch her cushion stomach and see for himself. They laugh that they've found themselves a centre back.
Oliver and Rosie look on and Rosie explains who Marco is. Oliver remarks that they are striking up a good relationship, to which Rosie agrees.
The General Store
Ringo and Pepper are doing his work in the General Store because there are too many distractions at home. Excuse me - and there aren't in a Coffee Shop/Store?!! There's logic for you! However, if they weren't in the General Store then this next bit would never have happened. Pepper tests him on his anaerobic energy systems. He answers correctly, and she puts her arms around him and they have a hug to celebrate his right answer, just as Rachel walks in - dun dun duh! If looks could kill...
Number 26
Ned and Janae are lying on the sofa watching TV. Janae creeps her hand up to Ned's chest but he apologises, as it just isn't happening. He thinks it isn't romantic enough and Janae agrees. However, there are worse ways they could be spending the afternoon. Ned kisses her.
Charlie's
Toadie and Valda are talking about displaying goods to their advantage. A bit random, but there we have it!
Bridget thinks that Miranda will be doing more functions in Belerat - unfortunately that doesn't mean that they hear any less of her. Susan laughs and Bridget says she checks up on her constantly. Susan thinks that's normal, she just wants to know Bridget is OK. Susan wishes that she could call Miranda and reassure her. Didge Bridget tells Susan that Miranda will come around, she misses Susan and much as Susan misses her. Susan doesn't seem so sure.
Oliver introduces himself to Marco and vice versa. Oliver jokes that Carmella won't be a silent partner, she has a strong personality and she's invested a lot into the business. Marco says he'll look after his responsibilities and goes back to join Carmella and tells her Oliver was just protecting her interests. Carmella says they are friends but there's nothing between them other than her cushion baby.
Valda winds Lou up about Mishka and how he should send some undies over to her. Lou reminds her that what happens between him and Mishka is none of Valda's business.
Number 26
Janae comments that the show isn't very interesting and turns to kiss Ned. Ned takes off his top and Janae removes her jumper and they kiss again. Mickey bursts in with Steve and Riley after him shouting after him to play outside. Janae and Ned spring apart and Janae covers herself up. Mickey turns to Janae and Ned, asking what they're doing.
NED: Janae had something in her ear...
JANAE: And he, er, he was trying to get it out
RILEY: Yeah, with his tongue!
MICKEY: Why were you taking your top off Dad?
NED: Because I, er, I was hot.
Riley and Steve are laughing at this point. They take Mickey into the kitchen to get some lunch as Bridget comes through the door.
BRIDGET: What's with the bare chest? [Sees Janae and Ned's faces fall] Oooh...
She walks off briskly to check on Sally whilst Janae can't believe Mickey saw them and puts her head in her hands.
Number 30
Rachel has come to see Ringo to check on him. He says he feels better after his sleep so it must have been a bit of exhaustion as well. Rachel goes to leave, saying she's glad he's better. Ringo tries to get her to stay but she sarcastically says that she isn't feeling well herself. Ringo looks confused.
Charlie's
Marco asks Carmella about Oliver and the custody arrangements of the cushion baby. Carmella wants to know why Marco wants to know - which he replies it's important she knows these things. Carmella says they sorted a few things out but Oliver has had issues of his own to sort through. Marco wonders if they are more important than his child but Carmella gets defensive and says he has no idea what Oliver has been through. For a moment I think Marco might apologise, but he simply tells Carmella that she deserves better. Carmella leaves and before going her and Oliver smile to one another.
