Recap
Ringo being found under Carmella's bed.
Frazer telling Ringo to pack his bags.
Rosie wanting to know if Carmella has something going on with a seventeen year old. (Ringo, in case that's not clear.)
Number 30
Carmella can't believe that Rosie's asking the question, and nothing is going on! Rosie wonders if this is about Elle and Oliver, she knows it must be hard for her sister. But she can't use Ringo to get over Oli. Carmella denies it again, and Rosie wonders if she's lying to her. She strops off as Frazer wheels out of the kitchen.
Rosie tells Frazer that she knows her sister is thinking about being with Ringo, even though she didn't admit it.
Erinsborough High
Frazer wheels in to see Ringo in the corridor. Ringo once again denies that anything's going on - yes, he likes her, but that's it. Frazer reminds his brother that Carmy is still hung up on Oliver, and she's about to become family!
FRAZER: She's a walking disaster area!
Frazer says that if Ringo wants to be treated like an adult then as an adult he needs to understand how important this is. Nothing can happen.
FRAZER: I'm getting married tomorrow, mate; I don't want to be looking over my shoulder all day, worrying about you.
Rachel overhears the conversation, smiles and walks into the classroom; Ringo follows her. Susan has left work for them which Pepper gives out. Ringo sits with Rachel, and she asks about Frazer's 'talk' in the corridor and asks if it's about Carmella.
Pepper suggests that they all go outside and work because it's a nice day, so they make their way out. Ringo confides in Rachel about Carmella - he had to break up with her because he felt he was lying to her all the time. Rachel wants to listen, but she finds it hard to take.
RINGO: It's like - she's amazing. I mean, when I'm with her - I can't explain it.
Rachel is upset, and reminds him that it can never be more than a one-sided thing.
RINGO: It's not one-sided Rach. She feels the same - we almost kissed the other day! Why is it such a freak out that we like each other?
Rachel reminds him that not long ago he thought he loved her. But it changed - so what if the same thing happens to Carmella? Ringo doesn't reply because he gets a text from Carmy, and goes off to meet her. He excuses himself with Pepper, saying he's not well. Rachel is left sitting on the bench in the corridor, alone.
A road
Carmy is in the van, waiting for Ringo, and Oli and Elle walk by. Oliver approaches her and asks if she's cool with everything between them. She says it's fine - and tries to get him to leave. Eventually he walks off with Elle, and Ringo appears, leaping into the van next to Carmella.
RINGO: This sucks! I treat you better than he ever did! And if I was just nine months older then no-one would give a damn!
CARMELLA: I can't be trusted! I'm too much of a mess!
Carmella says that the near kiss can't happen again - and she's sorry. Ringo takes her hand and tells her that it's not her fault. So much for it not happening again - they lean in and kiss before looking all pleased with themselves. Cue a pash.
Number 30
Rosie's hunting for some wedding music. She and Frazer start to talk about Ringo and Carmella's relationship, whilst she hunts for phone numbers. Rosie talks to no-one about Carmella's love life, whilst Frazer, balancing carefully, gets out of his wheelchair and stands up. Rosie turns to look at him, and can't believe he's standing! It's amazing! He's amazing!
ROSIE: I love you so much!
FRAZER: Me too. You, I mean. Marry me?
ROSIE: Try and stop me.
Kissing ensues.
Ramsay Street, between number 28 and number 30
Steph and Susan are leaving the Kennedys, talking about Tom K. They see Rosie, crying outside her house, asking her if she's alright, and offering her coffee and a girly chat.
Rosie tells them that Frazer stood for the first time! And then cries some more. She feels dreadful that she felt so relieved that he was able to stand. Susan and Steph reassure her - of course she's relieved that Frazer's healthy and happy - that's completely natural. But Rosie feels guilty because she's relieved that he's walking. Girly hug! She asks if they can keep it all quiet - it's to be their secret.
A van in a road / Number 30
Carmella makes Ringo promise not to tell anyone about this kiss - Rosie has magic powers and will find out! Ringo suggests staging a couple of fights, but Carmella knows that Rosie will be onto that immediately!
Rosie's still waiting for Carmella to return with the flowers as Frazer practises moving his legs. The phone rings, and it's Pepper for Frazer, asking after Ringo - who hasn't come home, yet. Rosie and Frazer call their respective siblings.
In the van, Carmella takes her call, and Ringo hops out the van to take his. Carmella tells Rosetta that she's caught up in traffic. Ringo tells Frazer that he went to get some fresh air to make him feel better - which it did, so he's going back to school.
Ringo and Carmella say their goodbyes.
Number 30
Carmella, Pepper and Rosie are looking at the flowers. Adam, Fraze and Oli are helping Frazer to practise his walking. They're talking about the non-existent buck's night. Pepper points out that Rosie didn't get a hen's night, either, so Adam shouldn't be complaining.
Ringo walks in and kisses Carmy on the cheek with a "honey, I'm home!" Seeing as they're being accused of having an affair, they might as well do the crime if they're going to have to do the time! Oliver points out that Ringo and Carmella are a ridiculous thought - Ringo's FAR too young, and Carmella wouldn't do that.
With that awkwardness, Oliver suggests that they all go to a Lassiters hotel room for the night and have a par-tay. After all, they're all adults - except Ringo, who doesn't look too pleased to be told that he's under eighteen, yet again.
Lassiters Hotel
In the room, Rosie makes a speech - this evening was a great idea! And she thanks them for coming at short notice. But most of all she thanks Frazer - she can't wait to be his wife! Rosie also doesn't want a big night because it's an early start tomorrow. Meanwhile, Carmy and Ringo are making bedroom eyes at each other across the room.
Ringo goes to get some champagne, but is refused a second one because he's 'just a kid' - despite Carmella sticking up for him, Frazer refuses, and Ringo walks out.
Cut to a bit later where Frazer finds his little brother sitting in the hotel corridor. Ringo hates being treated like a child - having a drink doesn't mean he's going to get wasted - why does Frazer automatically think he's going to do something stupid?? Frazer tells Ringo that being 17 sucks, it's just the way it is.
Back in the hotel room, Carmella wants to know why Rosie didn't back Ringo in having another small drink of champagne - and Rosie immediately pounces on that, demanding to know why Carmella's so upset about it. Pepper tries to diffuse an argument by suggesting the karaoke machine.
Cutting back the corridor, Frazer concedes that he shouldn't have put Ringo down like that in front of everyone else, but he doesn't want to see his brother making mistakes like he did. Frazer tells Ringo that Rosetta has rescued him, so he's lucky. Ringo, on the other hand, is sensible enough not to make the bad decisions in the first place.
And in the hotel room, Rosie and Carmy are about to have full blown hissy fits. Carmella demands that her perfect sister tell her why she was happy to humiliate Ringo in front of everyone.
ROSIE: Oh, why don't you get some polyfilla to fill that chip on your shoulder! Do not ruin my big day because of this!
CARMELLA: Alright - if you stop trying to ruin my life!!
Adam intervenes, and Toadie starts the karaoke with a terrible rendition of "Don't Look Back!" Still, great to see an in joke with that song! Takes me back to the days of the Wurlwitzer and the Coffee Shop. Aw....
Steph approaches Rosie and tries to tell her that she doesn't think she can sing at her reception - she's really not good, and she'll be so nervous. And singing is a private thing for her...... And Rosie can't hold the laughter any longer and tells her it's a wind up. Steph is furious!
STEPH: You have got a good poker face, girl!
ROSIE: Lawyer!
STEPH: Here I was, freaking out about it!
ROSIE: As if we would torture everybody with your singing at our wedding...
So Steph grabs the mike from Toadie and puts on Karl and Susan's song from 1999 (you know, the one where Karl returns from the bush in a police car, and Susan's pacing, and their marriage was almost over, and they fall into each other's arms...). She does an equally terrible performance.
Rosie and Carmella join in for a girly sing song. Carmy and Ringo eye each other up across the room and, I'm ashamed to say, it's almost cute.
Cut to later in the room where there's slow music on, and everyone chats with each other. Elle and Oliver are smooching, whilst Carmella stares at them. Frazer and Rosie talk on the sofa - tomorrow they're going to be with each other.
FRAZER: Tomorrow - you are mine. There is no escape.
ROSIE: I love it when you get all Alpha Cave Man on me.
FRAZER: Tomorrow, I am walking down that aisle. No matter what, I am walkin'.
ROSIE: Standing, sitting, lying down; I'm happy with any which way.
I bet she is, the saucy minx. She's been taking lessons from Susan.
Carmella and Ringo cheekily smile and each other. Adam and Pepper talk romantically to each other, as do Steph and Toad. Carmy and Ringo start sending texts to each other.
CARMELLA: I miss you.
Cut to even later and everyone's asleep, except Ringo who quietly creeps out the room, down to the poolside at Lassiters. Carmella wakes up to see all the couples asleep with each other and Ringo gone.
Lassiters Pool
Down by the pool, Ringo is at the poolside. His water phobia apparently all gone. Carmella gets in, fully clothed, and kisses him. Ringo worries they'll be caught, but Carmy doesn't care - she really, really doesn't!
