Recap
Scott's bone marrow will have to be used as a donor for Kerry; Dylan receives the news that his bone marrow has abnormalities and can't be used.
Elle and Paul talk about telling the Timminses that Lassiters is doing badly, and how they'll buy the shares back from them.
Toadie chatting with Abby's daughter Zoe, and Steph watching on.
Carmella saying that she won't run away from the business when it gets tough.
The Scarlet Bar
Steph telling Carmella that business between friends has to remain business; Carmella tells her that there won't be any more problems. Carmy wanders over to Elle at a table, who comments that she doesn't know how Carmella does all those early mornings. She also comments that living with someone, working with someone - it's supposed to kill a relationship; Oliver delivers Carmella her coffee and Elle looks annoyed.
Ned comes in with a very expensive suit, and Elle thinks she could have chosen a better one, so Ned suggests she take him shopping later. Ned gives Steph the money he owes her, and Steph can't believe that Elle agreed to a date with her ex!
Ramsay Street
Janelle's car has been repossessed and she screams at them not to take it away. Janelle declares that she'll have to sell the Lassiters shares now, to get some money, but Dylan and Steiger don't think that's a good idea. Steiger wants to share his money with her. Harold comes up and tells Sky that her boss has been on the phone, asking why she's not at work. Sky strops off, all cross.
Toadie's Office
Bree and Zeke are at Karl's computer trying to rescue a folder that Karl had lost. Toadie wants to know where Karl is, and Bree lies for Karl, but Toadie knows that they're covering for him! He tells them to get out because he's expecting a client - and as soon as he says that, Abby walks in with her daughter, Zoe. Toadie welcomes her with a hug and suggests they play cops and robbers together! Abby is grateful that he's babysitting for her, and she leaves.
House of PEG
Paul is playing a computer game - he's been on it for two hours because he can't get past the Molton Lakes. Elle comes downstairs, looking like something out of the 1920s, only colourful. I'm not sure about the turban thing on her head - she looks like TurbanSuse™; but then, what would I know about fashion?
Paul comments that she's all dressed up and wonders who the man is that she's interested in; Elle denies there's a man. But there's a woman at the door, and it's Janelle - she wants to talk about the Lassiters shares and Elle opens the door to her. They ask after Kerry, who's still fighting for her life. Janelle asks to borrow money against her share in Lassiters, but Paul refuses...he'll only accept sale of the shares. She reluctantly agrees, as long as Paul gets the contracts done.
Considering the trouble that Lassiters is in, he suggests paying half price, and declares that Janelle's way out of her depth. Janelle leaves, and Paul and his daughter low five.
Lassiters Lake
Elle and Ned have been shopping and are chatting about the girls that were all over him in the shops. Elle agrees to continue their conversation in the bar, as long as it's not a date. They walk past Carmella and Oliver, who are leaving the bar, and see that their van has been broken into and their takings stolen. Carmella tells Oliver that Ray did this, and they can't call the police about it.
Toadie's Office
Zoe is colouring in whilst Toadie's on the phone in his office. Zoe asks Toadie if she can go for a walk, but being on the phone, he doesn't hear her. Zoe leaves. Toadie realises Zoe's gone and frantically searches for her. He bumps into Steph but doesn't tell her what's happening, then runs into Bree and Zeke, paying them to search for Abby's daughter! Toadie runs off.
STEPH: Hey guys - what's going on with Toad?
BREE: Oh, he's just a bit stressed; losing your girlfriend's kid - not a good look.
Steph can't believe it.
STEPH: I wonder where a six year old would go.
ZEKE: Uh, the museum. That's where Rachel would hang out.
BREE: Just when I thought your family couldn't get any nerdier...
But Steph has an idea.
Erinsborough Hospital
Harold is playing with Kerry who's in her cot, and Sky comes in and picks up her daughter. Harry asks his granddaughter how she got on with her boss. Sky says that Jeremy was really sympathetic and told her to take all the time she needs, and Sky isn't happy - she felt like she betrayed Kerry. She didn't tell her boss about Kerry because she made an assumption that they wouldn't like a teenage mother; she was ashamed of her own daughter.
Ned's Flat
Elle is playing the computer game and getting cross with it. Ned comes out with his new suit on and Elle thinks he looks classy. Ned thinks he looks like a politician. *Serious* delusions of grandeur, there. Elle thinks he looks really hot, and Ned can't believe his luck, so he goes to kiss her, and Elle follows him into the bedroom.
Lassiters
Steiger is taking notes on the break in on Carmella's van. He sees Janelle walking and asks her if she has plans for lunch, and she declares that she's going to sell her shares to Paul. Steiger reminds her that her emotions are running high at the moment, and he wants to help her - so she should think twice about selling up. Steiger gives her a hug and takes her to the bar to cheer her up.
Carmella is angry with Oliver for calling the cops - Ray is family! She thinks they should play it cool and beat him at his own game.
Toadie's Office
Abby is waiting for Toadie in reception because the door was unlocked. Toadie comes in, and is about to confess to Abby that he's lost her daughter when Bree and Zeke arrive, complete with Zoe. They apologise for taking so long - they took Zoe for a milkshake. Toadie introduces Abby to them, and just as Zoe leaves, she gives Toadie a picture, and whispers in his ear:
ZOE: Sorry I nearly got you in trouble.
She kisses him on the cheek! Aw! Toadie is so grateful to Bree and Zeke, who admit that Steph found Zoe.
The Scarlet Bar
Janelle is reluctant to accept money from Steiger. She had this with Kim and she can't do it again. Steiger says that he can't just stand back - he loves her and he loves her kids. Aw! He wants to help and won't take no for an answer.
Paul arrives and gleefully presents her with a contract for the 40% share and asks her to sign it. Janelle goes to - then changes her mind and scribbles all over it! She tells Paul that Team Timmins will get through this, so Paul can shove his contract where the sun don't shine!
She also screws up his cheque and shoves it in Paul's mouth before leaving. Paul spits it out.
Ned's Flat
Elle is reapplying her make up and thinks that Ned has changed a little. She tells him that this was a one off, which is fine with him because he has things to do this afternoon. Elle looks slightly put out. She picks up her phone and calls Oliver, asking him if he has time to catch up.
The Scarlet Bar
Elle is telling Oliver that after something like the break in, it's usual for couples to fight. Oliver thinks it might be Ray who's behind it all, and admits that they police don't know it's Ray. Elle manipulatively suggests that that wasn't the right thing to do, but Oliver doesn't buy it - he likes Carmella's fiery and passionate side. Elle looks furious and so suggests that just because Carmella's dad's a criminal, it doesn't mean that she is.
Toadie comes in and thanks Steph for finding Zoe. Steph says she just thought like a six year old girl! Toadie is glad she didn't dob him into Abby, and Steph says that mates don't do that - she just wants Toadie to be happy. Toadie says that he is, and leaves.
Carmella comes in and Elle is immediately by her side, asking about the break in. Elle tells her not to back down from her principles, because men love strong women.
Erinsborough Hospital
Janelle can't believe how much money Steiger has. She has plans for it.
JANELLE: A pad in Sylvania Waters. Saw a doco once, they seem like our kind of people.
STEIGER: Worth a thought...
JANELLE: Or maybe a yacht.
Zeke realises that Janelle is joking, and Bree comments that at long last Zeke is starting to understand humans. Bree suggests that Zeke reads more Jane Austen to help his social understanding.
In a room, Dylan gives Stingray some food to get his strength up, after he gave blood to Kerry. He forces Scott to eat whilst he tells him something, so he can't talk back. Dylan tells Scott that he's found it hard to get used to the idea that his brother is going to be Kerry's stepdad. But he sat down and realised that if anyone but him was going to save her and be a part of her life, he couldn't think of a better person than Scott. Stingray's touched.
SCOTT: You mean that?
DYLAN: Not if you're going to cry I don't.
Scott pretends to cry and the boys muck around. Sky watches from the corridor, smiling at them. And as she watches, she once again sees the memorial of her mother, but instead of the words "In loving memory Kerry Mangel" she sees "In loving memory Timmins." She starts, and looks frightened. Harry comes up behind her, and tells her that fear sneaks up on us when we least expect it. She says she won't let fear beat her. Kerry's going to survive this, and so is everyone else.
Ramsay Street
Carmella is looking at a rock when Oliver drives up in a new van that he's borrowed from someone else. Carmella admits that she was looking for a rock to throw through Ray's window. Oliver can't believe it - what if Ray retaliates? As they're arguing, Paul looks on, smiling. Carmella maintains she has to show Ray what she's made of - she won't sit back, although Oliver would like her to. Carmella asks Oliver if he's with her or not.
The House of PEG
Elle is playing the computer game again. Paul comes in and asks if she got through the Tower of Doom, yet. Elle says that she hasn't even gotten through the Pit of Death. Paul wonders why Elle had a good day, and Elle says that she had a session with Oliver. Paul says he saw him arguing with Carmella, and Elle is very pleased.
Paul realises that Elle is stirring the pot with Carmella and Oliver, and wonders how they could speed up the process. Elle suggests speaking to Uncle Ray to make it worse, but Paul thinks the two of them could come up with something much better.
Mwahahahahahaa. Or something.
