Recap
- Dylan telling Kim that he's continuing with the shoddy DVD business
- Max saying that he isn't happy with Janae and Boyd getting married, but they can live together
- Kim freaking out about the missing ring
Number 30
The blokes (minus Big Kev) are out near the swimming pool either looking for the ring or mucking about. Angie yells from the balcony asking if they've found the ring. They haven't so she tells the dingbats to get in a line and do an emu parade right around the pool. They obey her orders and look about when Kim spots the ring in the swimming pool. Toadie, Dylan and Stingray come over to have a look and they all end up going in head first. They reach the surface, Kim holding up the ring saying he's found it. The boys splash about in celebration.
ANGIE: You know if I had one more bloke in there I might have enough for a half-wit.
Number 28
Outside Rachel is sitting down on a step talking to Garret, inviting him to the wedding and advising him on what to wear. Zekey-boy comes out of the house to overhear this conversation so he grabs the phone to tell him that the wedding is strictly invite only and he would like it if he didn't come before hanging up. Rachel tells him he was out of order but Zeke won't take that, she's the one that was out of order by inviting people to the Timmins wedding. It's rude plus why is she wearing such a nice yellow dress? Rach explains that she wanted to look nice for Garret. Zeke thinks she actually just wants to make Stingray jealous by bringing her boyfriend and wearing a dress like that. Rachel doth protest too much, she says that Garret isn't her boyfriend and anyway it has nothing to do with Stingray. Zeke thinks she's deluded so she shoots back that he's the deluded one. Zeke says at least he's thinking of the Timmins clan unlike her, she's just thinking about herself.
Number 32
Steph makes sure they have the baby wipes, and Max offers to do Boyd's collar. He asks if they have found Charlie's dummy, Max replying they haven't and they won't be leaving without it coz Charlie will disrupt the ceremony. Steph leads Janae into the room, Janae taking Boyd's breath away. Janae wants to give him a white flower from Harold's garden, she thought it might go with his outfit. Snap - he's got her one to! They attach them to each other why Steph gets an 'awww' look on her face while Max erm... has a small 'aw' look on his face. Janae leaves and when Boyd turns around, Max immediately looks serious and walks away.
Ramsay Street
Oo a horse and carriage and a limo! In the horse and carriage Janelle is wondering what the hell Angie is. Luckily, she arrives explaining that Toadie dropped beetroot all over his shirt so she needed to do an emergency stain removal. Janelle asks what he was doing with beetroot, everyone knows it gives him wind. Nice thing to know! Angie says that she doesn't ask questions she only provides answers. Everyone's settled so let's go. Janelle pipes up saying they can't go until the blokes do. Angie thinks they can, they just have to go the scenic route and give them time to get there first. She tells Janelle to relax, everything will be fine; Colac footy club's honour. They trot off to the wedding!
Number 30
The men are madly using hair dryers to dry their clothes. Dylan comments that his suit smells like chorine but luckily Toadie can fix that. While he's getting something Dyl asks what they can do. Toadie replies that they can start thinking smart, and spray pot puri on their clothes. Dylan and Kim hate it, it makes them smell like they are a dunny. Stingray runs in with a shirt and notices the stink. Kim tries to wake Kev but he won't be woken. Stingray reckons Angie kicked his butt into a coma. Toadie asks if he's going to miss the ceremony (which he will plus the reception) and oh my is he going to get some whoop ass coming his way from Angie. Kim's taken his shirt so it's all good. Toadie rounds them up saying they have to go. Dylan doesn't think they will make it but Kim insists they will. Stingray smells his shirt and finds it stinks, so Toadie sprays him.
Ramsay Street
The blokes are all walking out to the car in their suit jackets, shirts and underwear... Dylan and Stingray are complaining about the pot puri smell but Toadie doesn't think it's that bad. They get in the limo and stick their pants out the window much to the amusement of Rachel and Zeke, not knowing if it's a wedding tradition or some Colac thing. Just as the limo is leaving a police car comes up sirens a blazing. St Steiger and two random cops come out. Rachel asks if there is a problem. Steiger replies that it depends on if they are related to Mr Timmins. They aren't so he thinks that they don't then but he has a few questions for them.
Lassiters Hotel
Max asks Steph and Boyd if they should call the cops and send out a search party, the wedding was suppose to start ten minutes ago. Boyd tells him to relax they're running on TimminsTime™. Speak of the devil Kim and his crew arrive to a round of applause. Toadie can't believe they made it, Stingray can't believe the suits are dry and Dylan adds the stink is gone. Everything's fine. Kim's proud of them all because they haven't been beaten by their own stupidity. He goes to kiss Bree and ask for her mum. Bree walks off to find her while Kim apologises and explains to the celebrant, Doreen, why he was late.
In the hallway outside the room Bree sees all the women folks running down and asks where they have been. Janelle says it doesn't matter she just wants to marry the man she loves. Angie opens the door and sneaks a peek at the scene in there before telling Janelle that the blokes are there like she promised. Janelle sneaks her own peek and notices that Big Kev isn't there. Angie has another look before shutting the door and walking to the back of the group all annoyed. They all file into the room also to a round of applause but Kim is to into his story to care. Only when the celebrant says here comes the bride does he look at a happy Janelle. They smile at each other for what seems two minutes.
Ramsay Street
Zeke asks Rachel why they aren't being let go. She doesn't know, maybe it's because they know that they aren't telling the truth. Zeke says he didn't say anything but Rachel thinks his shaking said it all. Zeke can't lie, plus this is the police they are talking to. Rachel reminds him that if he doesn't speak he can't lie.
The three cops come back, Steiger saying the house is definitely deserted but all the cars are here, what's up with that? Rachel says she doesn't know, Zeke keeps his mouth shut despite Steiger telling him the best time to speak would be now. Rachel tells Steiger he can't keep them there. Steiger remembers about them going to their great-aunt's 80th which Rachel agrees with. He's surprised, unless she's had a sex change recently he thought she said it was her great-uncle's 80th. Steiger knows they know where the Timmins' are and he wants them to tell him right now. Zeke breaks, telling Stieger about the wedding. He asks him not to ruin the wedding, Steiger tells him Kim shouldn't thought about that before he broke the law. He asks RandomCop1 to call for back up.
On the walkway Zeke tries to explain himself to Rachel while she tries to ring Stingray and let him know the police are on the way.
Lassiters
The celebrant starts the ceremony when Stingray's mobile goes off. He shuts it off, apologising to everyone.
CELEBRANT: The renewing of wedding vows is a very meaningful, touching and reviving occasion. Not only for Kim and Janelle, but also for your family and friends and especially the children. So now let us proceed to the exchanging of vows. Written expressly by Kim and Janelle to reaffirm their love and affection.
KIM: Twenty-three years ago I said I would love you for the rest of my life. That vow's been tested over the years but now we stand on the other side of the mountain. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Janelle, why love for you is endless and eternal.
JANELLE: Because of you I laugh, I smile, I dare to dream again. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you. Caring for you, cherishing you, just being there with you through all the good times and the bad. Oh Kimbo my love for you is eternal and endless.
The celebrant asks for the rings which Dylan provides. She says the ring is a symbol of the journey travelled by Kim and Janelle from when they met at a Colac disco. Just at this moment the cops come in and listen in as the ceremony continues. Stingray and Dylan turn to see them and Stingray warns Kim about them. Everyone just stares at Steiger.
After the break we see Toadie go to talk to Steiger, while Kim tells the celebrant to keep the ceremony going. Kim turns to his boys and tells them to make the police wait, he needs at least 5 minutes. Before Dylan can go with Stingray Kim pulls him aside and tells him that it was all him, Dylan wasn't involved at all. Kim goes back to his wife and asks if they could skip to the rings bit.
Stingray and Dylan are telling Steiger and the random policement they can't come in without an invite etc while Toadie tells them to shut up.
We now cut to Kim and Janelle exchanging rings. Kim asks for them to just cut to the chase; the last sentence. The celebrant presents Kim and Janelle Timmins and they have a kiss.
KIM: You know what I've got to do.
JANELLE: Please god don't.
KIM: It's for the best just to take the heat off okay.
Stingray asks Steiger why they have to be so mean, just let them finish the ceremony. Stieger thinks it's pretty much over. Dylan tries to distract him by talking about being a cop, but when them blocking the path doesn't go too well Dylan steals Stieger's hat and bolts.
Kim turns to his girls telling them he loves them very much. Janae tearfully asks why he is doing this, Bree saying she loves him. Kim says he will be baclk, and asks them to promise him they'll look after their mum. Kim turns back to Janelle and tells her that he meant everything he said in his vows. He kisses her again before heading out the back way. Steiger is back and spots this, running after him but trips on Angie's foot to end up hurting his head. The other cop also trips over her foot but comes out of that luckier. The third policeman comes in with Dylan and Stingray. Number2Cop offers to help Steiger up but he doesn't want help, he wants Kim caught.
Number 32
They're are back, Max saying that that was different. Lyn's feeling sorry for Janelle, she's never seen her cry like that. She couldn't even talk. It must've been bad whatever happened. Max says that Dylan had been hanging around a dodgy crowd so that might have something to do with it. Steph tells him to stop lumping the Timmins' in together. Boyd decides to go see Janae. Lyn isn't so sure but has Boyd points out he is her fiancée so he is technically part of the family.
MAX: More's the pity.
BOYD: What's that?
STEPH: Max...
MAX: Look if today doesn't convince you that the Timmins' are a bunch of crims and petty ones at that I don't know what will.
BOYD: You take that back.
STEPH: Yeah you know what, Boyd's right. We don't know what Kim's done, he could be totally innocent.
MAX: You don't run if you're innocent.
BOYD: What about the rest of them? Obstructing the police, tripping them up. Dylan and Stingray behaved like a pair of thugs.
Boyd asks why he employed them if they're just thugs. Max says it's different, at least he can sack them whenever he wants. Marriage and divorce is not so simple. Boyd tells him that they aren't going to get a divorce. Max asks if he's willing to put money on it. Boyd thinks they will prove him wrong but Maxy thinks he'll be dragged down by the Timmins clan in the process. Boyd understandably leaves to find Janae.
Number 26
The police are taking the computer to some protests. Dylan doesn't think they will find anything on there. Steiger says they have witnesses, once that was willing to sing. And once they get their bank statements they'll have enough evidence to nail Kim. They'll find him and if they find out anyone there has been involved with his activities, they'll be going the same way. The cops leave with what they want, Angie saying that it's harassment and Toadie should sue. Toadie tells her that she's lucky that she wasn't charged with assault. Well Steiger shouldn't have got in the way of her foot. Kev goes to hug her when she sits down but she isn't impressed with him.
Janae is about to head out when Dylan asks where she's going. Off to see Boyd, it's important. Dylan can't believe it, aren't they important too? She leaves anyway. Dylan isn't happy but Janelle says she wants to be with her man, she can understand it.
Number 32
Boyd brings Janae inside, her saying she shouldn't be there and him asking if she wants to go home. Janae knows it's wrong but she hates them right now. They're a bunch of bogan losers, dad's the biggest loser of them all. Boyd tells her that it doesn't matter what he did they know that Kim is a good guy. Janae explains that he was pirating DVDs and had a massive operation going. Boyd guesses he needed the money which makes Janae ask why didn't he just get a job like normal people. She leans on his shoulder saying she's glad that she's marrying him so she can just leave them behind.
Number 26
Max and Steph are around to find Boyd but he isn't there. Angie is sure he'll be back later with Janae. Lyn and Steph give their sympathies to Janelle, Angie suggesting they all have a cup of tea. Everyone congregates into the kitchen while Stingray tells them he's just going out. Dylan kneels down in front of Janelle who's still sitting on the couch.
DYLAN: Mum I've been doing some thinking. I want to go to the cops and turn myself in.
BREE: Are you crazy?
DYLAN: It might take some of the heat off dad.
JANELLE: Don't you dare be so stupid!
BREE: With your record you'll go straight back to jail.
DYLAN: I'm the reason he got busted.
JANELLE: You don't know that.
DYLAN: I've been taking big risks in the last few weeks. Before we called it quits I was cranking the business right up. Dad wanted to stop ages ago but I wouldn't listen.
JANELLE: Well did you listen to him at the wedding? Let me remind you, he said whatever happens you had nothing to do with it.
DYLAN: But it's not true.
JANELLE: I have already lost a husband today, there is no way I'm going to lose a son.
Number 28
Susan answers the door to Stingers wanting to see Rachel. Susan gives him a look so he explains it will only be for a minute. She tells him to wait there but luckily Rachel comes out of her room. Susan leaves them to it. Stingray says he got her message. Rachel thinks it's a shame he didn't get it sooner, and she's sorry that Zeke blabbed. She's giving him hell. Stingray tells her that it isn't his fault. She insists because it ruined the wedding. He says it would've happened sooner or later. He thinks it was really cool of her to ring. She says as if she wouldn't. Aww well he has to go because of family stuff, and she understands. Aww!
Number 26
Lyn asks Toadie what the worst case scenario would be. Toadie tells the group that from a legal angle him doing a runner wasn't the best idea because if he gets caught the judge will give him the harshest sentence possible. Which is 5 years, maybe 4 with good behaviour. Janelle starts to cry saying it's all her fault. Bree and Dylan say it isn't, she had nothing to do with it.
JANELLE: Who pushed him and pushed him to have a big fancy wedding? Who nagged him to earn more money to buy this stupid dress? The massive reception, horse and cart... the ridiculous cake. Kimbo only wanted a small wedding. He said that all that was mattered was we loved each other. And he was right. And now he's gone... and I'll never forgive myself. Ever.
She cries into Kev's shoulder.
