Recap
Steph kicking Max out.
Lou finding Harold's odd bible passages.
Izzy denying anything between her and Ned.
Toadie and Connor falling off the ladder.
Hoylands
Being the great mother that she is, Lyn believes her daughter should have a real long talk with Max, but Steph won't have a bar of this. Lyn continues saying that they're about to be new parents with so much to look forward to...Steph just asks if she can babysit Oscar tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Max just happens to pop his head in the door as he requires a few things. Lyn takes the opportunity to excuse herself to let the two talk although Steph really really really doesn't wanna. Appearing again, Max apologises profusely. He is sorry about the stupid action he took, but he honestly did it out of love.
Paul's
Izzy brands Paul's irrational and paranoid behaviour as insane. She doesn't understand how he can push them away, and cannot fathom the thought of Ned being in some sort of conspiracy to kill him, and get her. Paul doesn't care, and plays this down to Izzy's growing attachment of the young stud. He further goads her into suggesting she loves it, as it makes her feel 25 again. Gobsmacked Izzy won't have any of this nonsense anymore and will leave.
Hoylands
Love? No, Max does not respect or has listened to her. She truly is thinking abut the baby when declining the treatment. She does want a healthy happy baby. Max just wants her to be around to enjoy it, but the later she leaves the treatment, the more likely it will spread in her body. Steph bluntly puts it down that he doesn't support her decision, and perhaps the time apart is needed. She needs to assess her feelings about him... now if you don't mind, please LEAVE. And out goes the second Hoyland kicked out of home.
Karl's Office
Connor is getting prodded by Karl, and each time excruciating pain emerges from him. Finally Karl asks him to stand and gives him the diagnosis. It's a really really bad case of...acting. Connor tries to fake it some more but alas, fesses he is scaring Toadie. He doesn't want to sue him! No, just scare him for payback at all the times he has humiliated, scared and LAUGHED (oh always with the laughing) at him. Pretty pretty pretty please Karl?
Karl lets them both out and announces how bad Connor's back injury really is an "acute subhematomal laxation" ie. big case of the FAKING IT! Toadie can hardly believe his ears but Connor can! He groans in more pain while exiting, muttering something about lodging a claim against Toadie. However this is all relative - it depends on how nice Toadie is.
Izzy frantically runs in, she needs help with ParanoidPaul. Unfortunately Karl just has a big case of the I-don't-give-a-damn's.
The General Store
Toadie gently aids Connor into the store, whilst insisting he needn't lodge a compo claim anytime soon. This seems like too much pain for Connor to bear, as his back is absolutely KILLING him. With no back, there is no front. Toadie could make him feel better by buying him some food though.
Lou pops himself next to Connor and speaks of his theory that Harold did something bad. Nope, not just forget to wash his recyclables but the one to have attempted to kill Paul (Robinson).
The General Store
Lou points out the highlighted bible passages that deal with revenge. Furthermore, he shows Connor David's letter that asks if anything should happen to him due to Paul to not let him get away with it. His third piece of evidence? The prank calls stopped when Harold left town. Connor is VERY sceptical and Lou has a sudden change of heart also. It's silly! Harold will soon call. Toadie brings back the food although Connor isn't very hungry anymore.
Paul's
Paul leaves an apology message for Elle and wishes she would come home. Izzy arrives back to collect a few items. He asks her not to leave, apologising for overreacting earlier. It is not like he wishes he was in this state. It may just be too late, as Izzy doesn't know if she can deal with anymore. Paul really wants to make it up to Izzy though and promises no more outbursts.
Late Night Lassiters
Officer Stu, and his partner do the rounds of the complex. He is just going to check on something.
Scarlet Bar
Max is spinning his wedding ring amongst the peanuts (yes in a literal sense...). He is not alone for long because Officer Stu arrives to check Max is not breaking any liquor laws (it is past 2am). Fortunately Max is only downing his sorrows. He explains Steph kicking him out due to making her see a psychiatrist. He really does not understand why she is refusing treatment, given the risk is minimal. Stu wants to know if anything else seems odd? When it came to Sindi, he cannot believe the signs he completely missed. No, Max is certain Steph is totally in control. Maybe, but Max should keep a look-out. If the signs are there, he cannot ignore it.
Ramsay Street (morning)
We stare down at a bit of lovely Ramsay Street before we realise Toadie is part of the foliage! He has donned himself a lovely fern headpiece to "blend" - it is his disguise to catch Connor faking it. Connor was about to put the wheelie bin out but upon spotting the fake plant calls over for Toadie to do it. He "painfully" makes his way back inside.
Steph calls out to Lyn who is making her way to work with Oscar in tow! Lyn didn't want to bother her with babysitting, as she is suppose to be resting. Disappointed, Steph calls out she IS capable.
Paul's
Paul and Izzy seem to have made up, and he promises things have changed. A noisy arrival at the door indicates it's Lyn and Ozzie. He surprises her with a change of plans - Lyn will have to run a few errands. She's a bit annoyed, as she could have organised a babysitter. That's no problem because Paul offers his services. Lyn isn't sure, but Paul is. Children love him (and Oscar loves Paul's cane because he takes it for a spin), it's only adults he has issues with.
The General Store
Karl calls Paul and leaves a message about his anxiety attacks.
Steph sees Lyn and immediately asks about Oscar. She gets quite annoyed when she hears Oscar is with Paul and Izzy and assumes she, like Max, think Steph is MAD. Stu, Lou, and oh say the entire store have their eyes peeled on this somewhat crazy lady. Lyn tries to say she only wanted to let Steph have a rest. Max arrives and tries to diffuse the situation but his reward is Steph storming out. Max and Stu merely share a knowing look.
The General Store
Connor hands Stu his smoothie and also gets questioned about Harold's disappearance but of course he knows nothing. Stu seems determined to find out where he is and also asks Lou where Harold is. Connor bends over at the wrong time and is caught out by Stu. He admits he is pretending but can't sa a word!!!
Lou and Connor discuss Stu's sudden interest in Harold and think he is onto them. He doesn't want to do anything until they hear from Harold although Connor is worried Lou's theory may be correct.
Paul's
Paul listens to Karl's message and gets quite angry at Izzy. He can't believe she'd go running to him, no doubt Karl got pleasure out of seeing Paul in distress. Izzy only wanted to help and they are about to get into a shouting match but notice Oscar is missing...
The General Store
Toadie (new disguise today - sunnies and a big black hat) is armed with a camera and catches Connor bent over. Connor tries to fake it more, (his genuine pain) but the game is up!
The General Store Kitchen
Lou is stony-faced, as he explains to Connor about the few calls to Harold's Tasmanian mates. They heard nothing. He has a new theory though...Izzy and Paul also thought Harold was behind Paul's attempted murder. Even though they dismissed their claim, what if that is a lie? What if Paul got his revenge and got Harold "taken" out of the picture?
Paul's
Paul tries to explain to Lyn what happened...not working I'm afraid as OSCAR IS MISSING! Izzy comes back empty handed. Lyn calls the police (as her, Lyn Scully, to say Oscar is missing...) but Paul figures they can use his security cameras. In disbelief they see Steph walking out with Oscar.
Road
Somewhere Steph calmly tells Oscar she has him now. They'll go and play footy or something.
