Sky stops Dylan from leaving to tell him that she doesn't want to split from him and she'll keep visiting regardless. Dylan again tells her he isn't interested and he will remove her from the list of approved visitors to prevent her from visiting.
No. 24
Harold is now trying to teach Connor how to play the tuba but it sounds more like a foghorn than a tune but Harold seems pleased with his progress. Connor says he's had enough and Harold checks their to-do list and top of that is a trip to the police station for Connor to confess all, properly this time. Connor is apprehensive but Harold persuades him that it is the right thing to do.
Beach
While watching Mike and Karen play Frisbee, Janae is telling Boyd that Karen made her life a misery in Colac and was the instigator of some vicious rumours too. She also tells him that she is surprised if Karen doesn't make a play for Boyd since she goes for senior schoolboys but Boyd reminds her he isn't one of them anymore.
By now, both girls are eyeing each other up and Karen decides to pash Mike, so Janae turns round to Boyd and tells him to kiss her. As Boyd and Janae kiss, Karen breaks off from Mike to see Boyd and Janae pashing. Boyd then breaks off their kiss as he is feeling used but Janae starts kissing him again and both girls continue to kiss their boyfriends while trying to give each other the evil eye.
No. 24
Harold and Connor celebrate him being let off with a warning by putting up the Christmas decorations Harold ordered Sky to take down. She comes home and isn't enthralled to see them up given Harold's outburst previously. Talk gets round to Sky's visit to Dylan but she doesn't tell them that Dylan dumped her, only that it is an injustice him being locked up. Harold and Connor depart to head to the soup kitchen and reject Sky's offer to come with them even though she sounds desperate to go with them.
Prison
A new inmate arrives and is given his uniform after handing over his possessions. Outside in the corridor Stinger lies moaning that he has appendicitis and he sees the new inmate being escorted to his cell.
STINGER: I really must be sick. I'm seeing things.
The new inmate is escorted to his cell by the warden and they stop at Roo's cell. The camera pans up and we see the new prisoner, who is none other than Mr Stuart Parker! However, he doesn't introduce himself to Roo as Stu Parker but as Mick Farrel. Roo starts eyeing him up and asks Stu if they've met before and is told "no".
Soup kitchen
Sky watches on as Connor and Harold hand out food to the homeless. Eventually she goes over to speak to them and tells Harold that Svetlanka called and that she doesn't sound too good and wants to visit and Harold replies that he'll call her back to arrange something for after New Year. Sky says that Svetlanka wants to visit now because she isn't handling things too well and she also thinks it would be good for the both of them being in the same boat. Harold however doesn't want a visit from her now and is sure Svetlanka has her own support network in Perth before brushing Sky off to resume feeding the homeless. Sky looks put out at being snubbed.
No. 24/Prison
Sky look through the phonebook for a number and having found the number makes a phonecall.
At the prison, Dylan looks through pictures of himself with Sky.
Back with Sky, and the number she dialled was for the prison and she asks to speak to Dylan.
Dylan continues to look at a picture of Sky.
Sky is told that he doesn't want to talk to her, and her offer of leaving a message to him is met with the phone being hung up on her.
Back with Dylan and he tears up the picture of Sky he was looking at and flushes it down the toilet.
Sky looks through her address book and finds Serena's address from when she lived in Perth.
Beach (next day)
Janae and Boyd run into Karen and she asks Janae if she has her own tap since she must get thirsty after all the counselling sessions she's been to. Janae being quite polite and restraint, tells Karen where to go but Karen asks if her dad is in jail too, like the rest of her family. Janae has heard enough and launches herself at Karen but Boyd and Mike pull their respective girlfriends apart as a crowd begin to gather. However, they dish out more verbal volleys before Mike takes Karen away.
Once they leave, Janae has a go at Boyd for restraining her and he replies that is what Karen wants and she should ignore her because Janae's got a whole new life, new friends, her dad is back, she's got him...and what else could she want? Janae doesn't quite see it that way, so Boyd tells her that she shouldn't care what Karen thinks.
Prison
"Stu," says Dylan as he spots Stu heading down a corridor. Stu forcibly pushes him back into the cell and tells him that he is called McFarret. Dylan naturally wants to know what is going on, so Stu tells him that he is *just another prisoner* and not to act like he or Stinger knows him. Dylan wonders if it is to help get them out and Stu replies that it's Roo he is after, before adding that he believes they were coerced and that if he can get enough evidence together, then perhaps the Timmins boys won't be spending too much time in prison.
Roo shouts on Dylan (or dog) as he passes his cell and winds him up by saying that Sky is hot. Dylan warns him off and Roo replies that Stinger will be taken care of first and then he'll have a party with Sky to celebrate. Dylan lays into Roo for those comments just as Stu arrives and quickly pull him off and with Dylan's hair in his hand, asks Roo if Dylan is bothering him. Roo says they were just having a chat and Stu tells Dylan that he isn't welcome in this cell unless he has a written invitation. Pulling Dylan's hair, Stu asks if Dylan understood and he replies yes before being tossed out into the corridor. Roo seems quite impressed with his cellmate as we cut to the commercial break.
During the commercial break, Dylan has returned to his cell and is surprised to see Stinger come in (doc didn't believe his story about having appendicitis). Stinger tells him about seeing Stu, so Dylan fills him in on the real reason why Stu is there and that it has to remain secret. Stinger is having a bit of trouble with the secret part, so Dylan thumps him again to reinforce it. Stu and Roo pass their cell and Roo welcomes Stinger back and he replies with a "caketaker" before Dylan stands in front of him until they leave. With them safely away, Dylan asks Stinger if he has a death wish and Stinger jokes that Stu won't let Roo hurt them. Dylan spells it out to him that if Stu's cover was blow he wouldn't last very long, so Stu won't be rushing to their defence and tells him to settle down or he'll personally beat his little brother to a pulp!
Beach
Boyd is trying to get Janae to cheer up but she is still annoyed with what Karen said and just as Boyd is reminding her that she doesn't have to prove anything, they spot Mike and Karen. As they go to walk past each other, Karen can't resist but throw a comment at Janae but she rises above it and tells Karen that she has moved on and that she should do so too. Rachel isn't impressed with that and tries to bait Janae but again, she rises above it but adds into the conversation before she and Boyd leaves that she dropped Mike. He is now embarrassed at being shown up in front of his girlfriend by his ex and gets an earful from Karen into the bargain as she isn't happy at going out with someone who used to date her.
As they resume their walk, Janae asks Boyd how was that and he replies good. She then tells him off for looking back at them, saying that "there is no point in looking back."
Prison
Stu comes into the cell and Roo hands him a magazine as a present for helping him out earlier. Stu asks if he is well connected and Roo replies yes before asking what Stu's background is. Stu replies that it was an armed hold-up and that he was in another prison (Parkwood) first before being transferred to Warrinor. Naturally, Roo has been in that prison too and asks Stu if he knows the prisoners he names but Stu hasn't heard of them before however Roo is starting to think that he has seen Stu before as his face is familiar. Stu again denies knowing Roo, so he runs through all the prisons that he has been into, but Stu says he hasn't been in any of them and adds that if Roo says he looks like someone off of Australian idol then he'll thump him. That answer pacifies him but Roo is still mightily suspicious as Stu plays with his beard.
We see a flashback to when Stu went after Sky and Stinger when they were trying to find Roo (Roo was hiding and watching Stu drag Sky and Dylan back to Erinsborough), which translated means Roo has twigged who McFarret really is.
No. 24
Connor and Harold arrive home to a still depressed Sky, so Connor asks her to say what is wrong.
SKY: My boyfriend is in jail for something he was forced into doing but the justice system doesn't seem to have an answer. My father, he's gone for god knows how long and the one person I thought I could always rely on is so cut up in his own causes he doesn't even know I exist anymore.
Harold asks if she is referring to him and she says yes, so he says that he is trying to help the lives of others less fortunate. Sky replies that Harold is so lost in self-denial that she doesn't even know him anymore and further tells him that he is oblivious to the pain she is going through. Harold replies that it isn't true, so she tells him that helping people is just his way of not dealing with things and is weird. They start arguing until Connor tells them to stop and after telling Harold to take a seat, asks Sky what she wants him to do. Sky says that she wants Harold to feel something. "And you don't think I do," replies Harold and Connor takes it upon himself to tell her that Harold is being generous by helping others and him.
SKY: I was really looking forward to Christmas this year. David and Lil were back together, and all the people I loved were going to be here but now I have no-one.
HAROLD: Sky (pause as he heads towards her and hugs her) don't be silly. You've got me.
Prison
The bell rings for lunchtime and Stu heads out the cell and queries why Roo isn't moving, so Roo replies that he doesn't like to appear keen. Roo gets off his bed and begins to circle Stu and tells him that a new bloke has to be careful and for some loyalty Roo will provide that. Stu agrees and Roo gives him a job - taking care of Stinger - and asks Stu if he can handle it.
STU: Little squirt like that? No worries.
