Ramsay Street
Kim is trying to head off to work but Janelle prevents him from leaving until he's kissed her. She also reminds him that she wants "some work done around the house" and Kim replies that come 5pm he's all hers! Janelle says that the motor is running... and she hasn't see the inside of the combi for a while either. They head inside and close the curtains!
No. 26
Boyd remarks to Janae that her parents have gone into the combi but she doesn't want to know...because they are her parents, they are old and most importantly it's disgusting! She confirms to Boyd that it is great having her dad back but not the images of him in the combi! Janae also adds that if anyone else in Ramsay Street is watching then she'll die...
No. 24
...We cut straight to No. 24 to find Lou watching what is happening in the street but tells Sky that he is watching nothing when she asks. She then asks where Harold is and Lou replies that both he and Connor aren't home and that didn't come home last night. Sky isn't enthralled to hear this as she thinks it is weird how close they have become but Lou explains that both of them have been through a lot but that doesn't wash with her. Sky wonders if Harold and Connor are avoiding being at home and Lou says that he's already had a work with Harold and that she should trust him but will talk to him again.
Lou changes the topic by informing her that Dylan called again for her but she plays it cool, so he asks if she is avoiding visiting him. Sky doesn't answer and recalling his own time inside, tells her that it would do Dylan the world of good if she could visit him. Sky isn't keen because she doesn't know if they have a future but Lou urges her to visit him today and to pay attention to Dylan's feelings instead of her own.
No. 26
Boyd notes that the van is still occupied and he tells Janae that they could copy her parents but she has other ideas - putting together a box for the boys for when they go and visit them later on. They debate on what to put into the box and Janae tells him that Dylan phoned last night and comments that Sky hasn't spoken to him and that he is cut up about it too. Boyd replies that Sky must be freaked out and Janae wonders whose side he is on but Boyd explains that it has nothing to do with sides, but Sky has had a hard month. "And Dylan's going to have a hard 10 years," replies Janae before adding that 'the moll' is supposed to be his girlfriend and one visit isn't much to ask.
No. 24
Sky is explaining to Lou why she hasn't visited Dylan already - that he didn't give a stuff for her when he disappeared and that she isn't sure if she can wait 10 years until he gets out. Lou wonders why she isn't telling Dylan this, so she says that she doesn't want to talk to him through a glass pane. Trying to get her to change her mind, Lou explains that it is probably just the thought of her that is keeping Dylan going at the moment and Sky replies that she doesn't want to kick him more when he is down by telling him that she isn't going to wait.
Their conversation is halted when Harold returns after a busy night at the mission, aided by Connor. Sky notices that he is looking rather weary and she offers to get his breakfast for him while he takes a bath but Harold notices the time and replies that he is due at work shortly so Lou offers to cover for him. Harold rejects his offer and Lou insists on him taking the day off, but Harold is having none of it, saying he'll be there once he's had a shower.
Sky is frustrated by Harold and wants to know why he isn't angry or sad instead of burying his head in the sand. Lou reminds Sky that stubbornness runs in the family, when she wonders why Harold is being stubborn.
No. 26
The lovers come back into the house surprised to see Janae and Boyd there with Janae deadly embarrassed about it all. Janae wonders why her dad isn't at work and Janelle says that Kim is going to chuck a sickie and tells him that he can find her in the bedroom once he's phone in. They start to show their "affection" in the living room and Boyd and Janae decide to go elsewhere! While Kim makes the call, Janelle reminds them that they are just as bad which Janae tries to deny before going out. As they get set to leave, Paul arrives to give them more good news (not that Janelle isn't happy enough!) - he's brokered a deal to get the boys home.
Prison
Roo is surrounded by his cronies and Dylan is getting worked up watching them laugh and joke. Stinger reminds him what Dylan said to him - keep your head - but Dylan heads over to where Roo is sitting. Roo tries to start a civil conversation with him but Dylan starts fighting with him instead.
Despite the conveniently placed ad break and the bell rings to indicate to the wardens that something has kicked off, the fight progresses with the pair of them having their hands round each other's throats. Roo tells Dylan not to do something stupid or he will regret it but it doesn't wash with Dylan who informs him that it was him who shopped Roo for TSB job and he doesn't regret it. They're now fight on the floor as the wardens eventually arrive and separate them but not before Roo calls out that he ran into Paul and that Dylan just blew it.
No. 26
Janelle hugs Paul and thanks him for what he has done but he replies not to count her chickens just yet as they have to wait to see how Roo is going to play it first. Paul subtly drops in that Roo is getting $50k as Boyd asks when they will be getting out. Paul replies hopefully by Christmas and Janelle and Janae are over the moon but Kim less so it appears. Boyd and Janae head out and Janelle asks where they are going to, so Janae says to TGS to get supplies for the boys and that she can't wait to tell them but Paul would rather that they kept quiet about it so the authorities don't get suspicious with what has been arranged.
Boyd and Janae leave after promising to keep quiet and Kim asks Paul what's in it for him. Paul replies that he likes Dylan, that he's been a loyal employee and doesn't want to see him in jail. This doesn't wash for Kim and wants to know the truth behind the bribe and what happens when the police find out. Paul counteracts by asking Kim if he'd rather see his boys in jail, which almost results in the second fight of the day when Paul hints that Kim hasn't exactly cared for his boys in the past. Janelle separates them as Kim enquires if they have to pay the money back but Paul says that they don't but he'll pull the deal if they want. Janelle naturally doesn't want that because she wants her boys home and spells out to Kim that regardless of a risky deal, she wants the boys out of jail.
The General Store
Sky reads an article in the paper about Tony Corbett as Boyd and Janae pay for their goods. Janae can't resist having a dig at Sky for not visiting Dylan, calling her gutless, as Boyd tries to get her out as quickly as he can.Sky goes over to tell Harold about Tony being dead but Harold couldn't give two monkeys even when she says that he may have been responsible for the bomb on the plane. Sky is still accusing Paul but Harold firmly tells her to stop and not to blame Paul as he is as much a victim as the rest of them and therefore needs their compassion not a twisted vendetta. It's Sky's turn now not to give two monkey's about Paul's feelings so Harold tells her that the conversation is over.
Harold retreats to the kitchen as Lou saunters over to hear Sky say that Harold is losing it so Lou tells her it's time to have another word with Harold.
Prison
Stinger points out the obvious to Dylan - everyone hates them and they'll be for it once lockdown ends. Dylan tells Stinger about Roo mentioning Paul's name and it's doing his head in not being able to find out what Roo was meaning. Stinger is freaking out because he is going to be alone while Dylan is in solitary confinement but all Dylan says is to keep quiet and if necessary fight hard until he comes back as the wardens arrive to cart him off.
No. 26
Janelle is still tying to be lovey-dovey with Kim but he is worried about the deal Paul has done. Janelle just wants her boys home and tells Kim that he can start over with Dylan. Kim points out that is all he ever seems to do and that he is barely a part of the family. Janelle replies that the kids love him and despite everything, they are 'team Timmins' before adding that Paul can't give Dylan a real father's love. They have another kiss just as Boyd and Janae arrive back.
JANAE: Again? What is it with you two?
JANELLE: You're lucky you didn't walk in two minutes later!
Kim wonders why they are home early, so Janae explains that they couldn't get in because the prison is in lockdown. This surprises them and they want more details but Janae doesn't have any as nobody would say anything, so Janelle points out that this is why they have to get the boys out of the prison.
No. 24
Harold is having 40 winks when Lou arrives home. After finding out what the time is, Harold wants to head back to the mission to help Connor but Lou tells him that it is madness tying to keep working day and night because Harold will run himself into the ground. Harold just ignores him, so Lou tries another tactic - telling Harold that he isn't showing his grief but Harold counteracts by saying he is helping people and that is more important. Lou points out the obvious - he isn't helping his family or friends, instead keeping them at arms length. Harold is stunned at this accusation, so Lou points out what happened with Sky earlier, and Harold says that Sky was being petulant. Lou tries to explain that at least Sky isn't bottling her feelings up and Harold replies that Paul has suffered too and there is no point being angry at him. "Suffered as much as you," replies Lou, so Harold asks what he should do - hate Paul for something he had no control over? Harold also points out that if they are waiting for him to take revenge then they'll wait a long time but Lou just wants him to show his grief.
HAROLD: (quite angry) I have grieved and now I have finished.
LOU: Your family is dead because of Paul Robinson.
After a pause, Harold tells Lou he doesn't agree with that and tells Lou to pack his things. Lou isn't happy at being kicked out.
After the conveniently placed ad break, Harold tells Lou that he can stay as long as he lets Harold solve his problems in his own way. Lou can't agree with that and Sky comes home to hear Lou say that he is being evicted. Harold points out that isn't happening, and Sky tells him that he can't kick Lou out and that they are both worried about him. Harold isn't in the mood and tells Sky the same thing - either support him be or leave. They are both shocked at Harold's outburst and Lou tells him that he can't kick his own granddaughter out, so he'll go.
LOU: I tried Sky. When you need me again Harold, I'll be here.
HAROLD: I have everything I need right here (he's holding a bible).
Ramsay Street
Lou is putting his things into the boot and tells Sky to keep an eye out for Harold and that he'll come round as Paul strolls up to them and Sky wonders what he wants. Paul points out the obvious, that Lou is packing his things, and offers him a rent-free nearby apartment instead of going back to the caravan park. Lou replies that he isn't interested, so Paul tries again, and again Lou rejects it as he gets into the car. Sky tells Paul that he can't pay people to like him and that nobody wants him around. Paul says that he is trying to do the right thing and Sky sarcastically says it's a bit late for that but Paul hopes it isn't.
SKY: My granddad may not blame you for what happened to our family but I do and that debt will never be paid back no matter how much cash you have lying around. You killed them Paul. YOU killed them.
Prison (inside)
Kim, Janelle, Janae and Boyd talk about what a grim place prison is and how much they don't want to be in it as they wait for the boys to arrive. They finally arrive and Janelle spots that Dylan has been duffed up and doesn't believe the 'I fell out of bed story' he comes up with. They try to say they are fine but the visitors don't exactly believe them - a picture tells a thousand words sort of thing. Stinger finally says that they aren't making too many friends, so Janelle says they'll be coming home soon. "Right" says Dylan, so Janelle tells them about Paul's deal with Roo. "Oh, great" Dylan now says before Kim tells them to hang in there and to keep out of trouble as it is only a matter of time. Dylan says that he knows Roo is inside but he blew their only chance.
Prison (outside)
As Roo watches him, Dylan is frustrated at himself for blowing their chance of getting out of jail. Roo and his cronies head over to where the boys are and surround them. Roo tells Dylan that he is upset and that everyone knows that Dylan grassed him up and it is just a matter of time before the pair of them get their comeuppance, especially as they have no mates to rely on.
