Recap
- Harold insisting Connor stay with him
- Dylan and Stingray being sentenced to prison
Prison Entrance
The new inmates are quickly ushered out of the van, and made to line up in neat little rows. Dylan warns his little brother to keep his mouth shut, and keep his head down. Unfortunately, the Mr Warden man notices, and asks them both if anything is wrong...No nothing sir, you'd think Stinger would say. He instead gives some lip - Mr Warden lets this go for now, and continues the neat little introductions. His name is Mr Steven "Honey" (as the wife calls him) Lee, although for them they only may call him by sir/warden/boss (I guess he won't be singing ala Chicago and Mama). DO THEY UNDERSTAND! Sure do, and they're marched inside.
Lyn's
Joe and Oscar chow down some good cake - chowing in fact nearly results in choking from Joe. Lynnie is this far away from doing the old Heimlich Manoeuvre. They talk about their now cancelled wedding plans - no worries! They just need to approach things from a different angle...sure do. Another coughing fit from Joe to end the scene. Lovely.
Scarlet Bar
"Llewellyn Hoyland" ... eh? This is the latest boy name from Max thrown into the ring. Steph doesn't look very impressed ("too Nashville Tennessee"), but Max thinks it's great! Or...should he be thinking a girl's name? Eh? EH?!
Meanwhile, over there, Toadie tells the Timmins parents how the boys made it fine into corrective services. They ask about the appeal, and Janelle wasn't really impressed with Toadie's legal skills - blaming him in fact. Kim defends his nephew, and Toadie fires back they would have been fine had Dylan not changed his story. Their only hope is really getting a lesser sentence with an early parole...this doesn't go well with Janelle, and she demands new legal council.
Prison
Still all lined up in their neat little rows, the men are told to strip down so they can wear their new dandy blue/white uniforms. Dylan is still trying to lay low, but evidently Stinger ain't listening, no no. He sees a fella giving him the eye, and takes offence - marching over and giving him lip...and a shove or two. Wrong move Stinger, Mr Honey Warden notices and isn't impressed to say the least.
Lyn's
While Lyn pops open the champagne in celebration, Joe has a nice yarn to Toby on the phone. Doesn't sound like Tobes is very happy though...Joe says things have changed, and they'll talk about it later. He knows...yes he knows... Lyn reappears, having heard the odd conversation and Joe explains about Toby's new property at the Kimberlys. She suggest he visit but he thinks no. No! It's not a problem, he just wants to be with her right now. (way to change the subject Romeo) They toast to their new lurve.
Scarlet Bar
Sane. Fit, handsome...in a rugged kind of way = Kim
Agro, loud, selfish... = Janelle
Toadie wonders if he is only in it for the kids? No, he's not. Kim remembers a time when they were younger, and he just thought Janelle was "the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Still is." Simply put, he just loves her.
Harold's
Though he knows it's difficult, Harold needs to ask Connor about plane crash. What does he remember about his family? Connor recalls David holding Lil in his arms, and exchanging messages of love. Harold faintly smiles, happy. And Serena? ... Connor blames himself for letting her go in the water, when he promised to hold on. Harry accepts this news, rather misty eyed.
Prison
Mr Honey Warden announces their new home - Unit B! They go to move out, but wants a word with (Scott) Timmins first. He knows his type, and asks to look at himself...truth is, you're not very menacing. Listen to your brother, and to him. Oh yeah?! Stinger reacts by...shoving the papers off the desk. That'll show him. Yeah, that shows him to solitary confinement.
Scarlet Bar
Max wants to know the sex of the baby. But then he doesn't. She tries twice, but each time he can't bear to hear it...can't she give him a teeny hint?
Toadie and Kim are annoyed for Janelle calling them down urgently - well it turns out she has news: Paul Robinson. The boys aren't impressed, Toadie especially wary of any money he is splashing around. Janelle goes off at him, at least he is prepared to do something! This just ticks Toadie off, and he's off. Alone, Kim gives Janelle a few home truths. Toadie has been working really hard, and for free! And yes, they are ALL going through hell, but it doesn't mean she can snap at people. Janelle is taken back, but Kim doesn't care. He's not perfect...however at least he knows it.
Harold's Yard
Harold doesn't blame Connor for Serena's death...he knows he would have done everything. Connor is surprised at his ability to not assign blame, but Harold knew long ago that blame doesn't solve anything. Also, he's had the support of the Salvos during this time...it's given him some purpose. Connor wants some of that, so here's a bright idea - why not Connor go with Harold one time?
Prison Cell (night)
The cell door opens, and in walks Stinger. Dylan wants to know the deal with his brother's behaviour - he's been acting foolish. Word gets out he needs his big brother to fight his fights, he'll be dead meat. Prison Rule #1 - Don't start something you can't finish. Stinger just wants people to know he isn't weak... no, that won't work! They'll just "teach him a lesson"! Meh. Stinger wonders what's going on with the girls, but Dylan puts a stop to that. This is their world now. Forget the outside like it never existed. Or else? It'll break him.
Lyn's
Joe looks quite forlorn on the couch, and Lyn finally asks him to fess up. He finally admits that when Toby brought the property...he'd help him set up. But that was then, and now he's met her. She is the most important. Nope. No siree, he is staying right here. (which means he'll be going)
Lyn's
Lyn believes he should go...Joe doesn't want to, as they're both committed but she knows he has to. Toby will resent Joe, than over time Joe will resent Lyn. He suggests they all go...but she can't. Especially since Steph is going to have a baby soon. He sighs, as he doesn't want to go...he loves her. He promises it'll be a couple of weeks, months... She doesn't want any promises, but they both know it's not the end for them.
Prison Cell
Tomorrow is a new day, good for a new start. Dylan tells Stinger to remember all he said about staying down low. Stinger doesn't really give a stuff. Fine, but don't go running to Dylan when 6 guys corner him in the yard...or showers.
The guy that Stinger got in a scuffle with earlier comes back, and Stinger once more taunts him. They soon wrestle, and Dylan attempt to break them up is unsuccessful. Mr Honey Warden comes back, and gets the boys back into their cells (Stinger keeps yelling after the other guy...). Dylan pleads to Mr Honey Warden his brother is just unsettled, but it's no use. "Word is already out on him" - he will need to learn the hard way. LOCK DOWN!
Scarlet Bar
Max looms over Steph, and she asks not to do it. That look on his face is quite pathetic. Aww no! He knows it's a boy anyway. She only grins, and he's shocked THAT IT IS A BOY! He kisses her stomach, and then her. Hurrah for Llewellyn!
Kim asks Toadie about Connor - isn't he grateful to have him back? He doesn't know...things are just weird. And he's with Harold now too. Toadie goes to refill their beers, and in walks Janelle with Kim's bags packed. He rebuffs her attempts, this has to stop.
KIM: I know you love me, why don't you just admit and be done with it? The fact that you've never been with another man...isn't that proof?
JANELLE: Proof that I'm an idiot.
KIM: Well I've never loved anyone else but you babe.
JANELLE: Aww, break my heart.
KIM: Well, I know you love me and we're just gonna have to learn to deal. Our kids need us, together.
He insists he is not leaving, so hows about she move over here (moving her to the next seat, well I was thinking he'd make her sit in his lap), and share his beer. He knows she wants too...wink.
Lyn's
Joe promises when the fences are done, he will come back...you know, as he isn't leaving until morning he could drop around after he sees Sky. Lyn thinks it's probably best right now, goodbyes and all...he agrees. Crouching down, he bids farewell to cute Oscar.
JOE: Hey Ozzie, I'll see you round mate.
OSCAR: (with dummy in mouth) Okay. Bye!
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! He loves her, but she knows. So, just like that he leaves.
LYN: (to Oscar) Well..how about that hey? It's just you and me again hey? Just like it used to be.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Prison Cell
Restless, Dylan is getting freaked out. His only response is the back of Stingray. He gets into bed, and thinks the fresh air will do them good, yeah. Closing shot of Stingray who is just looking sad, and scared.
