Mike telling Janae she and her family are bogans.
Mike saying Janae is easy, and Dylan tackling him.
Bree getting sick while practising for the spelling bee.
Susan and Lyn are discussing how much money they are going to get for their houses from the council, both pleased with the settlement. Janelle reads out the details of a house in the paper but Lyn says it is too expensive, as Joe will have to get some of the settlement too. Lyn thinks she will be able to afford a flat and Janelle wonders how they are all going to fit in there!
Summer and Bree are looking on he Internet to see how much money they can win in the spelling competition. Since only one of them can be the winner, they agree to be happy for whoever wins, as friendship comes first.
Sky and Stingray are preparing a ‘Welcome home' party for Boyd trying to talk things over so that Boyd gets no agro, especially about Serena. She thanks him for forgiving Serena and still being Boyd's friend. Stingray begins to panic as he thinks Serena is still likes Boyd, but Sky says she does like him but isn't interested in him and Boyd feels the same way too. Stingray misinterprets this, as thinking Boyd is too good for Serena but Sky tells him no, but Stingray now thinks he is second best to Boyd. Thankfully Boyd comes home sporting a very short haircut with a dressing on his scalp and his pleased to see them both.
Summer and Bree discuss how they are going to spend the winner's money. Summer wants a car and Bree wants to spend hers on surgery to help reduce her body size, but Summer says that she is beautiful the way she is. Bree suggests they don't say how much money the winner gets to keep the pressure off either of them.
Dylan comes out of his room and turns down the girl's request of help with the spelling comp, asking the ladies how much longer it is going to continue. Janelle says it's nice one of her kids has found a hobby that doesn't involve a parole officer, even if it is embarrassing! Lyn says there is nothing embarrassing about winning $200 of books but Susan lets the cat out of the bag by mentioning the winner of the overall competition gets $15,000. Janelle suddenly becomes interested now at the thought of Bree winning $15,000 but Susan points out it is a long way to go to win the money.
JANELLE: (after running through from the kitchen) Oh sweetie. That 15k that you are going to win couldn't have come at a better time now that Lynnie has left us high and dry.
LYN: I have not.
JANELLE: But not to worry, we'll soon have enough for a deposit on our very own place once you bring home that bacon, the money kind not the police kind.
SUSAN: (muttering under her breath) But no pressure.
Janelle tells her it is time to knuckle down and reads out a word for her to spell but Bree isn't happy.
Boyd is tucking into the feast Sky and Stinger provided. There is a bit of an “atmosphere” developing between Sky and Stingray, so Max suggests some rest and Sky says they will come back later. When they leave, Boyd asks Max if they were weird, but Max doesn't answer.
Stingray is letting off steam at Dylan about Serena and him thinking he is second best to Serena, and Dylan's advice is to dump her. Stinger says she is the best thing to happen to him but Dylan sarcastically replies that he is the second best thing to happen to her before saying sorry, then in the same breath saying it is obvious that she has the hots for Boyd. Stingray tells him that Serena loves him, and he was the one she turned to when her parents split up. Dylan sarcastically says that she turns to him for talking but what about other matters and says Boyd's name whilst kissing a lettuce!
STINGRAY: But nothing happened (between Boyd and Serena).
DYLAN: Yeah, because Boyd said no but I bet if him and Sky ever break up so will you and Serena.
Stingray then rams a sandwich Dylan is eating down his throat! Nice!
Bree and Summer are being tested on their spelling with Janelle but she gives a big clue to Bree and Summer objects saying she can't do that in front of a crown anyway. Janelle gets worried when Sum mentions the crowd because of Bree's stage fright and her tendency to throw up. Summer suggests picturing the crowd naked and Janelle comes up with her closing her eyes!
Bree runs off in the direction of the bathroom ready to throw up!
Janae and Mike are making out in his car and she calls an end to it…as he doesn't have protection but he says they don't have to worry about that. She says they do and Mike asks if she trusts him. Janae says she does but the look on her face suggests otherwise so he goes to start the car up, and she tells him to wait.

Mike and Janae are now in TGS ordering food. She asks him again if she can trust him but before he can discuss it properly Matty phones for him. Janae asks who he is and Mike says that he plays in his band and the call was to remind him about the rehearsal for their gig on Friday that he forgot about. Janae wants details of where it is so she can go and watch it, but Mike says it is at an overage venue and she wouldn't get in.
Janae has obviously told Bree about what happened with Mike tonight (unprotected sex), so Bree forcibly reminds her (with Dylan overhearing) of the possible outcomes – pregnancy and other nasties she could catch since she doesn't know where Mike has been. Janae says she doesn't want a lecture from her but ends up getting one from Dylan since he's overheard the conversation. She asks him to drive her to the chemists after dinner, but he refuses, so she begs him and he knocks her back again.
No. 26 morning
Janelle had Bree up all night spelling words, so she doesn't concentrate and lets her OJ overflow her glass. Lyn offers to cook her a proper breakfast until Janelle points out that it wouldn't be a good idea given Bree's tendency to spew in front of strangers, and it wouldn't go down well with the judges either. Lyn tries to get Janelle out of the house by mentioning a hard rubbish collection and she drags Dylan out to look at possible goods, so Lyn asks Bree if she'd like boiled, fried or scrambled eggs but it doesn't matter as Bree runs to the bathroom again, ready to spew.
Susan comes over to ask how Summer and Bree are and to wish them luck in the competition, but Bree is feeling queasy.
Janae comes up to talk to Mike – she wants a lift to the chemist and reminds him that he is part of the reason why she is going, so he agrees.
Boyd is back at school too and he feels like he's never left. Stinger makes a stupid comment before leaving to…go to the toilet and Boyd picks up on Stingray being strange twice around him now and wants to know what's up. Sky tells him that he's imagining things, but Boyd says his brain is working again, so she now says that Stinger was freaked out whilst Boyd was ill and that he's struggling to deal with it all now Boyd is out of hospital. Boyd believes this and heads to his next class, and in his place comes Dylan wanting to know if she always lies to her boyfriend or just after kissing him! Sky says she's trying to protect Stingray and not just Boyd, which he obviously doesn't understand. Dylan urges her to tell Boyd the truth but she tells him that she won't and she isn't going to break up with Boyd either.
Dylan invites Boyd out of a kick around with the football and Stingray says he's going to watch the spelling competition, so Dylan takes Boyd off updating him on the gossip whilst he was off.
Stingray enters the classroom and asks Bree if she needs a bucket and after a bit of hesitation, she says yes, maybe a small one then stops him leaving saying that she is fine. The contestants take their seats and Susan gives a bit of an introduction before the competition starts.

An irate Janae comes in looking for Mike – he didn't take her to the chemist. He's being a bit blaze since he's in front of his mates, so she shows him the aerial she ripped off his car, before announcing that she isn't interested in him any more and wished she'd woken up to him ages ago. She also adds that he is a user and he deserves more than a busted aerial, oh yes and that he is officially dumped!
The competition is in full swing and both Sum and Bree are spelling their words correctly until Summer finally makes a mistake. Janelle comes in just as Bree is spelling her word to win, and when as she gets it correct she runs out the class to spew!
Max and Lyn are talking about Bobby – she thinks he is great, especially as he gave Steph the money towards her appeal. Lyn also adds that she might just have to add a few probing questions when Max says he is a bit of a mystery man. Max is surprised when Lyn casually drops into the conversation that she's meeting Bobby for drinks at the end of the week, and after seeing the look on Max's face, says as long as it is okay with him but he tells her it might not be a good idea, which leaves her puzzled.
Janelle and Susan are congratulating Bree and Bree goes over to Summer saying she was great too. They remember their pact and agree to be friends always.
Boyd comes in from playing footy and asks Stingray how the competition went and he replies that Bree won. Boyd asks where Serena is, and Stingray snaps saying “at home”, before Boyd mentions that he heard about her parents and asks how is she. Stingray again snaps back saying he “doesn't know, you tell me”.
Sky and Dylan appear and she threatens him with death if he says anything to but he doesn't seem to think that there is a big deal. Sky goes over to Boyd, who is getting annoyed with Stingray's attitude towards him lately. Unfortunately Boyd's choice of words leads Stingray to think that Sky has told Boyd that everyone knows about his fling with Serena. When Boyd says that everything is all right, Sky quickly says that Stingray can relax now that they know Boyd is going to be all right and what happened in the past stays in the past. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief when Stingray calms down and accepts what Sky has said. That is until big brother Dylan lets the cat out of the bag and announces that when Boyd was ill, he let slip that he had a fling with Serena and everyone knows about it, oh yes and that he kissed Sky to get back at Boyd for what he did with Serena!
DYLAN: There, now it's all out in the open, can't we get over it?
