- Lassiter's fire being lit, Izzy stating her theories and Paul asking what she wants.
- Boyd talking to Sky, thinking she was Serena, and telling her about their relationship.
Boyd tries to grab a spaced out Sky's attention. “Earth to Serena! Did someone give you an atomic wedgie or something?” Sky finally gets Boyd to realise that she is Sky, not Serena, and Boyd shakily tries to say he was just joking. Then he says he must really be losing it – he was having a weird kind of mixed up dream that Sky was Serena. Steph comes in and asks how Boyd is feeling, and if he is ready for another visitor. A plaster-less Stingray has arrived. As Sky leaves, Boyd says he loves her, to which she replies “Yeah.'
Paul gets up to leave without paying, but Izzy won't have it. Paul says he has paid more than enough lately, but Izzy informs him that if he doesn't pay, she will call the cops, and who knows what will come up? Paul angrily pays her, and leaves as Karl enters. Izzy comes up and asks how Boyd is, and Karl tells her that Dr Levi has confirmed Schizophrenia.
Serena and Sky are talking about Boyd, and Serena says it is so weird he went from 100% normal to…that. Sky points out that the medication will help, but they don't know how long Boyd will have to be in hospital for. Sky then subtly tells Serena what Boyd said, brushing it off as if Boyd was out of it and saying crazy things. Serena's silence, however, confirms Sky's worst fears, and she runs out of the house.
Janae is putting sun cream on, laying in a deckchair as Serena chases after Sky into the driveway, saying that it was nothing, and Sky and Boyd had broken up. Sky yells that it had only been a couple of weeks, and Serena moved in pretty quickly. Serena cries that she is sorry, but Sky says it is so low it is disgusting. She's her cousin. Serena says they didn't plan it, but Sky says there is no excuse for someone she considers her sister to move in on her boyfriend. She is pathetic – what about Stingray? Janae's ears prick up. Sky says maybe if Serena is lucky, Boyd will accidentally spill the beans to Stingray too.
SERENA: You know, Boyd and I were both free agents and we called it off because we knew you wouldn't handle it.
SKY: What – didn't you have any other dramas on that week?
Janae storms over and tells Serena she is a cheating moll and a scrag. Serena asks who she is.
JANAE: I'm Janae Timmins. You've been cheating on my big brother and now you're gonna pay.
Janelle gives Lyn a telly table (which was kind of funny because I'd never seen them till a week ago when Dad asked Mum to get him one…but for a totally different reason…his laptop was…ahh...too hot for his…err…lap…) so she can ‘scoff and watch.' Lyn prefers dinner as a time to talk. Dylan is all suited up to go to work with Paul. As he leaves, Stingray comes in from visiting Boyd – who is a bit…well…NQR. Stingray feels sorry for him, but Janae says she wouldn't waste her time – Boyd has been ‘going the grope' with Serena.
Dylan meets Paul, who is surprised that Dylan is on time. He gives Dylan his next assignment – to follow Izzy and record her every move on a Dictaphone. Dylan doesn't mind at all – he'd ‘scope her for nothing!' Dylan asks what she did to upset Paul – does he have something going with her, because she's got great…eyes! Paul replies that he is in business with her, and isn't sure he trusts her entirely. Paul gives Dylan some money and leaves.
Stingray is quiet and Janelle can tell he is upset. She prompts him until he gets worked up and says he can't understand why Serena and Boyd did what they did. Janae puts in her 2 cents worth, but Lyn says she doesn't know the whole story, and Stingray needs to go and talk to Serena. Stingray agrees, but says if it is true, Serena will cop it ‘sweet.'
Outside Scarlet Bar/Dylan's Car
Dylan is making random observations about Izzy, when Karl comes along and they go inside for a drink. Dylan notes that ‘they're kind of all over each other, and the Doc isn't complaining.' Over and out.
Sky runs past upset. And Dylan tells her to jump in the car. She's reluctant, but he says they'll just chill and listen to the radio, and so she gets in.
Serena opens the door and invites Stingray in. He isn't sure he wants to come in just yet. Is it true? Serena starts to make excuses, and Stingray can't believe his ears – It's true!
STINGRAY: You…my chick…and my best mate – BAMM!
Serena wants to explain, but Stingray can't understand it – there is no excuse.
STINGRAY: Maybe it was spiggin' dark, and he was wearing a spiggin disguise or something, and you couldn't tell who it spiggin was, so you mistook him for spiggin ME!
Serena says she was confused, but Stingray says she should have told him. He's hurt, but she is truly sorry and they decide that they don't want to lose each other over it.
Karl invites Izzy on a trip to the Yarra Valley which she accepts. Lyn and Janelle come in, disagreeing over Stingray and how the situation should be approached. Janelle says she is going to shout Lynnie a drink, but her wallet is empty. She still insists it is her shout, and she thinks she knows just the way, as a group of guys walk through the door and she drags Lynnie towards them. Lynnie – come on!
Sky is upset about Boyd – how he went crazy when she kissed someone else, but now he has done it. She wonders who she can trust. Dylan says no one – you can only trust dogs. Woof. He doesn't trust anyone, that way he doesn't get let down by anyone. We see Izzy and Karl leave Scarlet through the back window of Dyl's car, but Dylan doesn't notice – Sky is still talking about Serena's betrayal. Dylan tells her just to look out for Numero Uno, and Sky says that from now on she is a free agent. Dylan congratulates her, and they move closer….and closer…and clo…ok, ok…they kiss.
Dylan is pleased, but Sky is upset and runs off. Dylan is dragged out of the car by a fuming Paul, who has seen Izzy – not where Dylan is. Dylan has missed her leave, and if he can't do his job properly, Paul will have to get someone else to do it.
Janae has come to have a go at Serena and warn her about messing with Stingray. She says she doesn't know what Stingray sees in Serena, but Sez tells her to go and climb back into whatever panel van she came out of. Janae slaps Serena on the face and tells her not to mess with her family.
Izzy has been invited in for an herbal tea, although she ‘wasn't angling for this when she escorted him home.' Dylan is watching at the window as Karl puts on the kettle and Izzy goes to put music on. Karl begins to ‘educate' her about the Rolling Stones. He asks if she is in a hurry to go, and Izzy replies that there is no place she would rather be. They kiss, and Karl asks her to stay the night. They kiss again, and Dylan knocks against the window. They jump and Karl hurries outside to investigate.
Boyd has fallen asleep, and Steph quietly lets herself out of the room, as Sky comes running up the corridor – she really needs to see Boyd. Attack of the guilt's? Certainly. Steph doesn't think it is a good idea – Boyd really needs his rest and his sleep, and Steph has just gotten him to sleep, but Sky insists. Steph relents, and goes home to try and call Max again, and Sky goes into the room. She lays next to Boyd and cuddles up to him as he sleeps.
