Karl and Izzy's Place
Karl is talking on the phone to a friend's wife and Izzy accuses him of flirting with her. Karl responds saying it's one thing to have a laugh with a mate's wife but another thing to bat your (meaning Izzy's) eyelids to seal a business deal. Izzy says she doesn't fancy Paul and tells him his insecurity won't stop her taking up Paul's offer.
Sky is a reading out a letter from Lana to Serena when they run into Stingray and tell him about what Lana has written. He leaves and they begin to chat about the letter when a dog runs into the hall and the owner comes in being quite firm with it. A teenager then comes in and chastises the man for the way he is treating the dog. The bloke and the dog leave and Sky and Serena tell him that was nice for what he said.
Sindi and Stu come out of the bedroom and Susan says she's bought the muesli that he likes. Sindi offers to get it for him but he says he get, it and Susan gives him directions. He finds it no bother but breaks a jar putting the container on the counter. Stu apologises and Susan says it is ok before making a tactful exit. Sindi says she will make him brekkie. Stu wants to take off his bandages since Karl is coming round anyway but she tells him no.
Karl and Izzy's Place
Karl has made brekkie for them since they've kissed and made up since their argument last night. Izzy describes the book she has been reading and Karl says he knows a story and tells Izzy about what Paul did at Lassiters. Izzy says past mistakes shouldn't taint his (Paul's) life and that he should trust her. He says he can but his face tells a different story.
Serena has put a heart on the top of a coffee and Sky says she is still hung up over Stingray and that he still loves her. Izzy comes in and wonders why Sky is there. Sky says he is helping Harold by volunteering. Izzy tells her she can then go home and make more muffins as she is in charge of everyone including the volunteers. They leave and Stingray comes and goes to talk to Karl. Stingray has problems sitting down and asks Karl about “his friend” being given an unwanted present from his girlfriend. Karl tells Stingray for “Johnny” to come see him so he can help.
Sky and Serena are making the muffins but Sky adds in chilli chocolate powder since it is all the rage in Guatemala so she can get back at Izzy.
Karl is slowly removing Stu's bandages and tells him to open his eyes slowly. When he opens them (via Stu cam) we see blurry dark images. Karl reassures him that it is normal and a few blinks should clear it. Via Stu cam we see Karl shining a torch in his eye, but it is still dark but Stu lies and says he can see. Sindi and Karl are relieved but Stu hasn't a happy face. Karl gets him to look in different directions and again via Stu cam we see he can't see.
Izzy tells Paul she is going to into partnership with Max since Lou and Harold are going to open up their own coffee shop. Paul says they will meet later to discuss money but Izzy gives him her business plan already worked out.
The muffins are cooked and Serena asks Sky to taste one. She bites into it and says it's delicious . . . and two seconds later spits it out. Serena says it will come back to haunt her but Sky couldn't care less.
Susan is reading a book telling a whining Audrey to keep quiet but she does so again so Susan goes to feed her. Stingray comes out of his room walking very funny which Susan comments upon and the fact he's had two showers.
STINGRAY: Suse, I've got something, something terrible.
SUSAN: What kind of terrible?
STINGRAY: I can't talk about it terrible. (Stingray starts walking backwards towards the door)
SUSAN: Is it a boy thing kind of terrible?
SUSAN: Is it a go and see Karl kind of terrible?
STINGRAY: No. Maybe. I should go, shouldn't I?
Stingray then quickly disappears out of the front door.
Izzy wants to know from Sky why there is chilli in the muffins. Sky says she followed her recipe exactly and has no idea. Izzy tells her to go and make more. When Sky leaves Izzy turns on the charm and sells two muffins to the guy who shouted at the dog earlier.
Karl and Izzy's Place
A freaked out stingray has come round to see Karl who is chopping veggies. Karl tells him to drop his trousers but Stingray says only once Karl's dropped the knife he is holding. Stingray drops his trousers and Karl diagnoses his problem straight way – he's wearing nylon undies and Karl tells him to buy cotton ones instead.
Stu is “watching” sport on the TV but really can't see anything. Sindi comes out of the bedroom and asks who is winning and he says it is neck and neck. Stu says they can watch something else instead and Sindi asks him what he would rather watch but he says he isn't fussed. Sindi asks him what is she wearing and via Stu cam says a new dress. Sindi tells him that he can't see and he again lies and says he can but he needs more time to adjust but Sindi wants to know exactly what he can see. Eventually he tells her he can't see and Sindi says once she gets dressed they are going to see the specialist now.
Susan has come him and shouts to see if Stingray is home, he isn't so she tells Serena to come in. Serena asks if he is with Shazza but Susan says he isn't. She asks her to sit down and goes on to describe her first kiss and finishes by telling her to tell Stingray how she feels. A knock on the door interrupts them. It's the teen who chastised the man with the dog. Turns out he is Stingray's brother – Dylan coming to check them all out. Dylan notices Serena and they introduce each other before spotting Audrey.
Karl and Izzy's place
Izzy arrives home with Paul and spots Karl in the bedroom. Izzy thought he'd still be out but he's just come back from running 10k. Karl wonders what she is holding and Izzy tells him that she is the half owner of a funky new bar. Karl congratulates her and shakes Paul's hand but he isn't really happy at what she has done.
Dylan is telling Serena what he would like to do if he had an education. Stingray comes in and goes up and punches his brother in the face. Susan and Serena are shocked.
Stu and Sindi are back from the specialist. She says they can spend the afternoon in her room having Irish coffee and biscuits but Stu wonders if this is what it is going to happen for the rest of his life since the specialist says he is functionally blind for the rest of his life.
