Recap

- Izzy telling Karl about her water phobia.
- Carmella instructing Sindi to write 3000 words on a shoe.
Grease Monkeys
Connor is removing staples from bits of paper, complaining that this wasn't in the job description. Carmella informs him that she can direct him to do what she wants, and adds that she may need a shoulder massage later on. She gets out some money from her purse to pay at the counter. While she's gone, Connor looks at the picture she has in there of Giancarlo, her hunky model boyfriend. When he takes it out for a better look though he finds out that it's been cut out of a magazine, much to his amusement.
Scullys'
Lyn hangs up from an emotional phone call with Joe. "Twenty-six years of marriage, over in a phone call," she says to Susan, who has been waiting in the background for moral support.
Pub Office
Karl is still working away at the computer trying to build a site for Lou. Lou looks to be rethinking why he said yes to Karl's help in the first place. And to top things off, the beeping comes back. "Karl, I'm beginning to believe you don't have any idea what you're doing!" Karl gets annoyed. "Rome dot com wasn't built in a day, alright!" Max walks in to see what's happening which makes Karl more stressed out, and more so when Stingray follows, wanting to know where Boyd is. Stingray scoffs at Karl's web design and says he could do a lot better. "Be my guest," Karl replies, and after some deliberation, agrees to pay him $50 if he can do a better job.
Coffee Shop
Stingray rushes in to brag to Sky and Lana about his easy fifty bucks he just made. He's soon put in his place though when the girls tell him that he's been ripped off. Lana tells him it will at least take him two days to do (he thought it would be a couple of hours max), and Sky reminds him that he doesn't even know how to turn a computer on. Stingray just looks at them and then opens the book he's brought along, 'Web Design For Morons'.
Scullys'
Susan says to Lyn that she knows it's the last thing she wants to hear but she really needs to just get out of the house and do something, just to take her mind off things. Lyn doesn't feel like doing anything but Susan reminds her that she was in the same situation only months ago. "You didn't take no for an answer, neither will I." She pleads with Lyn to go for a walk, go shopping, anything.
Susan's
Susan and Lyn drop by to get Susan's purse and to invite Sindi along for a shopping spree. Sindi wishes she could but she's on a deadline to write the 3000-word article on the shoe... that costs the ridiculous amount of $1200. "Good luck with the article, it sounds like torture," Susan replies before dashing off.
Grease Monkey's
Connor gets on to the topic of Giancarlo with Carmella. He tells her he knows she's just making her boyfriend up and that she got his picture from a magazine. Connor says it's okay, he knows that she can't deny "the package", sprawling himself across the booth. Carmella bursts his bubble though by showing him some holiday snaps she just picked up that day of herself and Giancarlo, and how the magazine picture was just a temporary one. "Why would I swap this Italian stallion for an Irish spud?" She tells him he better get back to work before he finds himself a redundancy package.
Coffee Shop
Sky asks Stingray how Boyd is doing and he says that he's okay. When Lana joins them after her shift ends, the girls make fun of Stingray's computer book and ask him if there's one for "super morons". He says he'll be the one laughing when he's rich.
LANA: Just out of interest, hot shot, does html, jpeg or gif mean anything to you?
STINGRAY: Does cake-taker mean anything to you?
They invite him to Sky's house to watch movies but he isn't interested because they're not Jackie Chan flicks.
Sindi falls through the door because she's wearing the expensive high-heeled shoe on one foot and a flat shoe on the other. Izzy strolls out of the kitchen and almost dies from shock when she sees Sindi's gorgeous shoe. Sindi tells her she has to write an article on it and that she thought she'd try it on for inspiration. Izzy hesitantly asks if she could try it on and Sindi is more than happy to let her.
IZZY: It's like the Albert Einstein of shoes!
SINDI: The Albert Einstein of... can I use that for my article?
IZZY: Sure.
SINDI: Fabulous! I'll just write it on a napkin before I forget... How do you spell Albert?
Pub
Connor is massaging Carmella's shoulders and then takes her empty glass to the counter for a top up. Lou wonders where Connor's self-respect and dignity have gone to, "no woman is worth what she's putting you through!" Connor happily tells him that it's all part of the job. "You may see it as under the thumb, I see it as an exquisite game of cat and mouse." Toadie walks up to them and Lou asks him about women which makes the Toad go into a mini-rant about how they just rip your heart out. Not quite the answer Lou, Connor and Max were expecting. Connor rushes off to tend to Carmella when she calls him.
Coffee Shop
Izzy is rattling off some comments that Sindi can use in her article much to her delight. Toadie walks in and Izzy notices the negative air between he and Sindi. She asks what's wrong and Sindi tells her everything was okay until she suffered "a typical Sindi Watts brain-freeze" in that she kissed Stuart. Izzy says she can sympathise and that she's suffered a few Sindi Watts brain-freezes in her time. She adds that Toadie has to deal with things in his own way but Sindi has to learn to forgive herself. Sindi smiles and says she never thought the two of them would ever be chatting like this, and Izzy laughs and agrees. Sindi suggests they do it again sometime and Izzy says that would be great.
Bishops'
Sky and Lana are sitting on the floor watching a movie. When Sky leans back to get the bowl of popcorn from the couch her leg ends up resting over Lana's. She leaves it there because she seems comfortable with it but Lana just looks a bit confused.
Coffee Shop
Karl has come by to show Izzy some brochures about the river cruise but she's not overly keen at all. He says he wants to help her overcome her phobia but she doesn't want to reconsider. She'd even prefer skydiving over a volcano to being near water.
Bishops'
After the movie finishes the girls talk about a hall of mirrors scene that was in the film and how cool it would be to go to one. Sky says that Lana should take Buffy to an amusement park that has the mirrors, and ghost trains, "it'd be totally romantic". She says that she wants to help Lana out seeing as she stuffed things up for her last time. Lana says she thought it sounded like a date they should go on, "you and me." When Sky doesn't say anything, Lana makes a hasty retreat apologizing to her. Sky tries to get her to stop but she won't listen. She looks annoyed with herself.
Grease Monkeys
Sindi sees Lana walk in and asks why she's upset. Lana tells her that she and Sky had a misunderstanding. Sindi says that she's going to order them a hot chocolate each and they're going to sit down and have a catch up. She sees Toadie walk in with Stingray and tells Lana she just needs a quick word with him.
Toadie isn't at all happy to see her though and says he has nothing to say to her except that she looks ridiculous in odd shoes. She wants to know what she can do to make him see that she's sorry, and that she deserves another chance because she really loves him. There's a flicker of hope that passes over his face but then he goes back to grumpy Toadie and says she should have thought of that before she stuck her tongue down Stu's throat. Sindi gets angry and says that if he's not willing to forgive her after all she's done then so be it. Stingray shakes his head in disapproval at Toadie but he snippily tells him to shut up.
Coffee Shop
Karl hangs up his mobile and tells Izzy that he's just cancelled the river cruise. She says sorry but she just couldn't have gone through with it. Karl suggests they go on a boat trip just by themselves, and that he wouldn't care if she freaked out. He really wants to show her that her dreams are just dreams and that they can't effect her in waking life. He says that he'd never do anything to put her in danger and that it would be the gentlest, most peaceful boat trip she's ever been on. She realises he's not going to let up on the idea, and combined with the sad puppy face he pulls, she finally agrees to go. "It better not be a canoe trip," she adds.
Pub
Carmella is now getting Connor to blow dry her nails for her after she paints them. Lou can't believe what he's seeing and that it has got worse. Max deadpans that he missed out on seeing the foot massage. Lou says that he can think of a few more jobs for Connor now that he's seen his work ethic. "I don't think your feminine wiles would cut it for Connor, Lou," Max jokes.
Susan and Lyn walk in and Lyn runs into Max when she goes to get them a table. She asks him if he's heard from Steph and he says he has and then admits he knows about her and Joe. "I'm sorry to hear that, Lyn." She thinks that Steph hates her for what's happened and Max says she doesn't but it would be better for her and Steph to have a chat about it themselves.
Susan's
Lana wonders why Sindi just doesn't forget about Toadie but she says that he makes her feel special and understood. Lana says she knows how that feels. Sindi gets excited and asks if she's met someone, "Is it that Biffy girl?" Lana tells her it's the same person it's always been. She relays to Sindi what happened at Sky's place about how she freaked out at first and then became hopeful and asked her out, but now she's back to square one. Lana says she keeps getting mixed signals from Sky. "Sindi, I think she really does like me and she's just scared."
