Serena telling the family the truth about Luka.
Lana and Stingray attempt a séance in an empty classroom, to try to contact the spirit of Joan Crawford: “The real one, not my mother.” Sky comes in, and talk soon turns to Lana's recent date with Buffy. Lana says, “it was different, but it was okay.”
Svetlanka tells the family what happened eighteen years ago. She had arranged for a childless married couple to adopt Luka, and bribed the doctor to tell Lil that her baby was stillborn. She felt that Lil was too young to have children, and Luka deserved more. She tries to talk to Lil, but Lil tells her she needs some space. David starts yelling at Svetlanka for what she did to Lil, and as Svetlanka leaves, he follows her out still yelling. As she leaves with Harold, Serena tells David that she can keep on walking for all she cares. David tells her that Svetlanka had no right to put her in that position. David asks her how close she and Luka got. Serena doesn't want to talk about it, and runs off.
Sky and Lana enlist Stingray's help in the comic, with some stunts. Lana tells Sky that when she first met Stingray she thought he was a total bogan, but now she thinks he's sweet, in a bogan sort of way, and he makes her laugh. Sky continues to try to get Lana to talk about her date with Buffy (who's real name happens to be Denise, and she only uses Buffy in the magazine), and she gives in. She says it was a complete disaster. She didn't know what to say, and in the end made up a lame excuse about assignments due in and just left.
Lil and Luka talk alone. Luka says that as soon as he met her he just felt some sort of connection, but didn't know what. Lil says she didn't feel any connection, because she thought he was dead. Lil just can't believe that her stillborn son was not stillborn after all, and she's having trouble making it seem real.
Sky, Stingray and Lana plan the next comic adventures of Enigma and Freak Girl. Stingray jumps around acting it out, and the girls jokingly make him a character called “Camp Man”. Brendan and his gang walk past, and see the group in the room. “What's this?” Brendan says, “The meeting of the Gay Brigade?” Stingray disgusts the boys and sends them on their way by pretending to be gay and coming on to them. Brendan calls him a sicko. “I'm not a sicko,” Stingray says after they leave. “I'm Camp Man. Up, up, and I'm a gay!”
Luka feels like his life was a giant connect the dots puzzle, with half the dots missing. Lil and Luka wonder to go from here. They decide to take things slowly, and get to know each other gradually. Lil tries to find out how far things went with Luka and Serena. He tells her that they kissed. Lil tells him that neither he nor Serena is to blame for it. A terrible thing has happened to them, and they'll get through it together.
Lou is selling spare parts to customers. Karl comes in and Lou tries to hide what he was doing. Karl picks up a hubcap from an old Thunderbird just like the one he used to own. When Karl comments that Lou must be bringing in lots of money from these spare parts, Lou gets all defensive, saying that the parts are for whoever wants them.
Lana has left the room for a minute. Her mobile rings and Sky answers it. It's Buffy wanting to make plans for that night. Sky tells her she'll be busy that night. When Lana returns, Sky tells her about the favour she did for her. Lana gets all annoyed; she didn't want Sky to do that, she still wanted to see Buffy. After she storms out of the room, Sky tells Stingray she thought she was doing the right thing. Stingray says that Sky is jealous. After Sky practically bites his head off, he tells her he was only joking. Sky tells him he's making up stuff he doesn't know anything about.
Stingray sees Serena in tears. He gives her a napkin, and asks her what the matter is. Serena is reluctant to tell. Stingray tells her that even if he can't help, he can still listen.
Lou feels he has fallen far from what he used to be. Karl tells him that what he's doing is a good idea. When Karl sees a busted hubcap on the side of the road, Lou sees a business opportunity. He suggests Lou could set up his own internet business. “How hard could it be?”
Serena tells Stingray what happened. Stingray tells her not to beat herself up; she didn't know. He says it was kind of natural: as soon as she met Luka they got on, and they didn't know they were related, so they mistook those feelings for something romantic. Serena tells him he makes it sound like it happens all the time. “It does where I come from,” he tells her. “If you're not born with three nipples you're considered an outsider.”
He tells her to look on the bright side: she always wished she wasn't an only child, and also, older brothers have friends. Sometimes the friends are even hotter than the older brother. It would be like her own personal dating pool. Serena asks if he would be jealous. Stingray admits he would be, but if she's happy that's all that matters to him. He tells her not to make this change the way she feels about herself.
Sky finds Lana and apologises, saying she must have picked up on a wrong vibe. Lana tells her she plans to call Buffy later. David comes in and tells Sky he needs to fill her in on some stuff that's happened. Lana walks off to call Buffy and David tells Sky about Lil and Luka.
Karl sits at Lou's computer, which isn't working properly and making a repetitive beeping noise. Karl, who has no idea what he's doing and refusing to admit it, tells Lou he must have picked up a “beeping virus”, which is no wonder considering Lou's email inbox is full of “ham”.
LOU: I think the technical term is “spam”.
KARL: No, Lou, Spam is a product that comes in a can that tastes like ham. That's where you're confused.
LOU: I still think it's called “Spam”.
KARL: Yeah, well, that's why I'm the genius in front of the computer and you're the one asking for help.
Harold tries to comfort an upset Svetlanka. He convinces her to use this opportunity to start over, and that she's underestimating her family's ability to forgive.
The whole family is gathered. Lil and Luka tell the others that Luka will be staying in town, with a Serbian family he met at the local Serbian club, until his biological family gets to know him, and then eventually he might move in with them. Everyone is only too happy to welcome him to the family. Lil tells Serena that she and Luka shouldn't be ashamed. They did nothing wrong and it wasn't their fault that they didn't know. She apologises to David for dumping it all on him, but David says that instead of apologising, they should all be celebrating. Svetlanka gets her hopes up. Lil then turns to her. She tells her that she will never forgive her for what she did, and tells her to get out, and never contact them again. Harold tries to change Lil's mind, then goes after Svetlanka, trying to get her to stay. Meanwhile, Luka and Serena talk. Luka wonders if it will be easier for him to go back to Perth. Serena tells him not to, it would break Lil's heart, and they deserve to get to know each other. Luka tells her, “We're brother and sister now. The rest never happened.”
