Recap
Max and Boyd discussing the poster war and Summer being endangered. Carmella returning. Sindi confessing to Toadie.
Pub
Toadie gets up to leave. Sindi tries to stop him; Toadie yells "Back off!" and exits.
Hoyland house
Boyd wants to watch the cricket. Max tells him to do his chores and homework first. The two of them get up to leave as Steph comes home. She tries to ask about something but can't get it out. Max tells her it's on the coffee table. Steph picks up the TV guide and flips through it. Suddenly getting annoyed about something, she chucks the guide into the hallway. Max, standing around the corner, sees this. Pretending he just came back in and didn't see it, he tells Steph he forgot something and kisses her. He asks her how she's feeling about their IVF appointment tomorrow. Steph admits she's a little nervous, then adds that soon they might have a little Max or Maxette running around the place. "Maxette," Max says, "I like it."
Pub
Connor and Carmella return from their drive. Connor asks her how long she'll be there before returning to Italy. Carmella tells him she's not sure: with Rocco currently out of the picture, she's helping to run the business. Lou tells Connor to get back to work, but Carmella persuades him to let her keep Connor a bit longer. She then asks Connor how Michelle's going. "You know, the one you dumped me for?"
Hoyland house
Lyn and Oscar come around to wish Steph luck for tomorrow. Steph asks how things went with Joe. Lyn lies and says everything went fine, and she should only worry about making that baby. Lyn says she will be moving to Bendigo as soon as possible. She only had doubts because she was so stressed about the construction business, Jack's hearing and everything else. She tells Steph that her marriage as just as good as ever.
Number 30
Toadie comes home. Stu is watching TV with Bob. He continues to pretend nothing happened between himself and Sindi, until Toadie tells him that he knows. Stu starts to apologise, and tries to justify himself by saying it was a party and things just got out of hand, but Toadie won't hear any of it, and tells him that from this point on, they know longer have a friendship.
Pub
Connor finishes telling Carmella about what happened with Michelle. He then tells her he's often wondered what might have happened if he stayed with Carmella. She quickly tells him she didn't come to rekindle their romance. Connor pretends he didn't have that in mind. Carmella picks up a magazine and shows him a picture of a male model in it, who is Carmella's new boyfriend. She starts to go on about how great he is. Connor interrupts, and says he's very happy for her. Carmella finally gets to the point of why she's there: she needs a new driver, and she thought Connor might be interested, now that he has a baby daughter. Lou comes back to the bar and asks if he can have a word with Connor, "right now would be nice!"
Number 30 (outside)
Stu is sitting outside alone, lost in thought. Sindi comes over to him. Stu goes off at her, telling her that now, Toadie feels betrayed by the both of them. She has ruined her relationship with Toadie and his friendship with him. Sindi just wants to explain to Toadie, but Stu tells her to leave him in peace, "you've already done enough damage today".
Pub office
Connor tells Lou he wants to apologise for the whole Carol thing. He tells him that the last thing he wants to do was humiliate him, and that when he found out he wanted to let him down gently, so he invented the "thug of a husband" story to scare him off, but instead he just wanted to save Carol. "By the way, I was really touched by that." Lou can't believe Connor was reading his innermost thoughts. Connor tells him he told Lou a lot of things he would never tell another soul. Connor admits he actually looked forward to reading Lou's emails, and it was like he'd found the perfect man. The two of them then agree to never talk about it again. Lou then gets back to what he wanted to talk to Connor about: Carmella. He warns him that she may be an attractive girl, but she's also a Cammeniti. Connor tells him that he's completely over her.
Kennedy house
Libby tells Susan that she found a nasty note about Lana in one of her classes, and asks if Susan's had any incidents. Susan says that her students are fairly mature about it, "most of them," she adds, looking at Stingray. When Stingray asks her why she did it, she denies it. She was looking at Audrey and he just got in the way. Libby goes back to what she was saying. She says she gave the student responsible for the note a good talking to, because she wouldn't want to discourage other students from coming out. "Other students?" Stingray asks. "There's more of these uh--? Whoa-ho, you beauty!" he adds, getting excited. Libby decides there's probably 10% of the school that might be gay. Stingray tries to get information from Libby and Susan. Sindi comes home looking quite upset. Stingray comments that she looks like she got hit by the misery stick, and she looks like one of the before shots on a crisis hotline ad. Susan gets Stingray to help her put Ben to bed to get the room empty so Libby and Sindi can talk. Sindi tells Libby that Toadie hates her. It's over, and she can't blame him. Libby tells her that telling him helped, and in the long term, it could do some good. She says it could give Sindi a chance to reassess her life a little. Maybe it's time for a change.
Hospital
Steph is nervously pacing the room. Max apologies, because if it weren't for him, she wouldn't be doing this. Steph tells him she should apologise to him, because of some stuff she's been doing lately because of mood swings from the IVF, and she didn't want him knowing about them, so that they would continue the programme. "You should see some of the stuff I've done," she says.
"Oh, yeah?" Max says. "Like smashing the phone and replacing it with the old one from the garage, or accidentally burning dinner and giving it to Harvey and getting us take-away? Or throwing the TV guide across the room?" Steph can't believe he knew all along. Max says he just wants the baby so much he'll do whatever it takes. It'll take a lot more than a torn TV guide to put him off.
Erinsborough High
Boyd meets Stingray in the corridor, and notices he is covered in coffee. Apparently he was trying to make cappuccino in the science room, and nearly has it perfect. He asks Boyd if he wants a try after school, but Boyd says he's still grounded. Stingray tells him to lighten up, he's like an ulcer waiting to happen. Boyd tells him that's because his girlfriend is spending all her time on her latest project, and he has no money because he had to give up his job. Stingray tries to get him to look on the bright side: at least they aren't getting harassed by Travis anymore. Boyd tells him he knows he could have got him last time. "And everyone thinks I'm Chi Chi Bananas," Stingray says, before doing monkey impressions down the hall.
Number 30
Connor entertains Bob with songs from his tin whistle. Stu comes home and Connor tries to find out why Toadie was upset when he left for work. Toadie comes home to get some files he forgot, and pretends Stu isn't there until he tries to talk to Toadie about Sindi. Through their short but heated conversation Connor finds out what happened. Stu tries to talk to him again, and Toadie goes on to say that at least Sindi had the guts to tell him, whereas Stu was happy to continue living there, pretending nothing had happened. He tells Stu to pack his bags and get out. Stu tells him it's his house too, so he's not going. Toadie tells him he was paranoid someone would steal Sindi away from him, but he never thought it would be a friend who did it.
Hospital
Steph wakes up and asks Max when the baby is due. Max tells her to hang on, they still have to do the fertilisation and transferring part first. He doesn't want her to be disappointed and warns her that there's only a 40% chance of success. Steph says that it's good odds and would put money on it. She's sure it will work, she's got a feeling.
Coffee Shop
Lyn buys something, and when no one is looking, grabs a packet of some biscuits or something from the counter, and sneaks it into Oscar's pram. She succeeds, but is a little jumpy when Susan comes in and says hello to her. She asks Lyn if she wants to have a coffee with her, but Lyn tells her she has to go and get Oscar to daycare, she has a lot of clients in the afternoon, and she leaves quickly.
Erinsborough High
Stingray asks Boyd if his "melon melted". Apparently Travis Dean's posters have been ripped down. Boyd denies knowing anything about it, but Stingray doesn't believe him. Boyd tells him that as much as he wants to get revenge, it wasn't him. He's already grounded and doesn't want any more trouble right now.
Pub
Carmella returns. Lou tells Connor to be strong. Connor tells Carmella that he does not want to be her driver, and his loyalties remain at the pub. Also, because of their history, and her being Rocco's daughter, he doesn't want any complications. After he finishes talking, she tells him his first shift is Monday morning at 9. "Okay," Connor says.
Coffee Shop
Libby tries to sort things out between Toadie, Sindi and Stu. She tells Toadie that while she's not siding with Sindi or Stuart, Toadie wasn't completely blameless; he put himself in a position of power every step of the way. Toadie tells her that she came into his life at a difficult time. Libby goes on to say that he was always calling the shots - Sindi had to accept only the amount of affection he was willing to give at any particular time, and her self esteem has taken a real battering. Perhaps her kissing Stu was a subconscious way to make herself feel attractive again, and also to punish Toadie. Toadie tells her that despite all these theories, it comes down to the fact that the woman who claims she loves him kissed his supposed best friend. He refuses to take any blame for it.
Hoyland house
Boyd is sitting at the kitchen table reading a magazine. When he hears Max and Steph come home, he turns on the vacuum cleaner and pretends he had been doing it the whole time, and turns it off to talk to Max. Max tells him how it went at the hospital, and how much they know right now. Boyd asks him what they had to do, but changes his mind when Max tells him how gory it is. Max comments that he'll take a look at the vacuum later, because there's something wrong with the power cord, it keeps cutting in and out. Boyd tells him it's been doing that all afternoon. Before Max can say anything else, there's a crash in the kitchen. They run in to find a smashed window and a fire erupting. Max tells Boyd to call the police. It seems someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the window.
