Recap
Seamus sending the robot into the pub to challenge Connor.
Stu and Olivia kissing.
Sindi crushing the robot controls with her stiletto.
Number 30 - Police Station
Stingray and Toadie sit on the couch and watch Connor perform 'surgery' on the robot. He asks Stingray for a screwdriver then some pliers.
Stu and Olivia wash the police car and keep looking at each other coyly.
Stingray tries to mop Connor's brow with a cloth but Connor tells him to quit it.
Olivia throws a sponge at Stu's back and they start to muck around until they see that Steiger's watching them.
Stingray is now mopping Toadie's brow and he asks his cousin if he does foot massages too. Stingray starts to massage his shoe. Connor continues to operate.
Coffee Shop
Harold is explaining how to make coffees to Serena while Sky looks on in amusement. He asks her to make a few drinks and says she can "workshop it" with the other new recruit when she gets there. Serena wants Sky to remind her why she's doing this again. "It's called working. You're pulling your weight for the family business."
SERENA: Why does the family business have to be coffee making? Should be international fashion or something.
SKY: Well because this isn't The Bold & The Beautiful, Serena.
Sindi walks in with the new recruit, Lana. Harold calls Serena over and Sky pretends that the coffee Serena just made is awful just to test her "difficult customer reflexes". Harold asks Serena to show Lana the ropes (even though Serena doesn't know much herself). Sindi explains that Lana is her cousin and Sky introduces herself to her. Sindi passes on some sage advice to her cousin.
SINDI: Now whatever you do, don't drop anything okay? Harold hates anything being dropped. Penny dropped everything while she was here and so did I, even though I only lasted half a day. The thing is if the worst-case scenario does happen just kick all the pieces under the counter, it's the only place he can't reach to clean, for obvious reasons.
Sindi leaves them be and Lana asks Sky if she works there as well. Sky says she used to but not anymore because of a difference of opinion. Lana thinks that she means Harold ("the old guy") because Izzy seems really nice. Sky doesn't look too impressed.
Police Station
Olivia smacks Stu on the butt and they talk playfully to one another until Steiger comes up to them, wanting a word with Stu. Steiger leads him away and says it isn't an official reprimand, just a friendly word of advice. "Back off. The attraction's far too obvious." He pretty much tells Stu that he shouldn't mix business with pleasure. Stu says he'll keep it under control.
Number 30
The boys are putting the finishing touches on the robot when Sindi flounces in with beer and pizza as an apology for wrecking the control earlier. She opens up a beer can which just happens to spray everywhere over the robot. Toadie leaps up and guides her swiftly away from the robot. She tries to say it was an accident but they don't listen and she runs out the front door.
Susan's
Sindi comes home and complains to Libby that she's been "passed over for circuitry" again. Libby says it's all about the competition factor, "whether it be robots, or footy, or weeing up a wall! It's all the same." Sindi opens the door to Sky and frets because she thinks Lana has blown something up. Sky's there though, not because of that, and not because they have another lingerie party that night, but because she has to interview a member of the community that she admires. Sindi of course thinks it's her but then gets slightly downcast when Sky says she's there for Libby.
Number 30
Stingray brings out the "secret weapon" to put on the robot - a cake server. Connor scoffs at the idea until Stingray reminds him it's better than a curling wand. They put the robot on the floor (and Stingray wins the name game by default - they're calling it Cake-Taker) to test it out. All it does though is swirl around in circles, randomly lifting it's front tray up every now and then while beeping loudly.
Police Station
Stu and Olivia are in the car while Stu tells her what Steiger said to him. He says maybe they should try and control themselves from now on at work and Olivia agrees. That plan doesn't last for too long though as they lean in for a big smooch.
Robot Annihilation Challenge
The three boys rock up with Cake-Taker to a warehouse where all the action is happening. They come face to face with Seamus' team and he says to reveal their robot. Cake-Taker is unveiled to the world. Connor sees them laughing and says for them to reveal their robot. Killbot makes its presence known - and it looks way more impressive than the old CT. The Number 30 boys look worried. They put their robots into the centre ring to begin the fight.
Number 30
Stu and Olivia come home to a dark house. When they realise no one else is home they resume pashing and make their way to Stu's bedroom.
Susan's
Sky wraps up her interview with Libby saying that she's a "totally cool, out-there single mum." Libby sees some of Sky's sketches in her work folio and is impressed. They're caricatures of various Ramsay St residents. Lib laughs at the one of Izzy. Sky says she did her as the seven deadly sins and Lib jokes that one must be "psychotic vanity". Sky's being modest about her talent but Libby wants to show them to her editor at the paper. "I don't know what he'll say, but I think you should do a regular cartoon for my column." Sky looks happy.
Coffee Shop
Lana and Serena are being kept busy with various coffee orders. Lana apologises to Serena about what she said before about Harold, she had no idea he was their grandfather. Serena says it's okay as Harold comes bustling in, reminding Lana nicely to put a napkin with each order of food. Serena thinks it's cool that Sindi is Lana's cousin, but trails off as Lana is staring at her for some reason. Lana says it's nothing and goes into the kitchen.
Robot Challenge
Killbot and Cake-Taker are rumbling around in the centre ring while the crowd cheers them on. Killbot is doing quite nicely as CT just keeps on driving around in circles. Sindi rocks up for "moral support" much to Toadie's despair - she's apparently their bad luck charm. The crowd goes wild as the battle rages on and we're treated with a slow-mo version of events so we can see every glorious move the robots make. It looks as though Killbot is going to go all Terminator on CT until CT proves it's more than just a twirling machine - it gets its shovel working in the front and lifts up KB to claim victory by slamming it into a mini brick wall. The Number 30 boys go wild and Toadie nearly knocks poor Sindi over in favour of a group hug with the fellas. The boys make "In your face!' gestures to Seamus' team.
Susan's
Sky and Sindi are getting things ready for their lingerie party with Libby helping them. Sindi is annoyed because there's going to be more robot challenges now that the boys won. There's a knock at the door and Sky is met by a gaggle of old ladies ready and raring to see "the fashion show". The girls exchange bemused looks and let them inside. Sindi tells Sky she didn't know they were old ladies, "it's like a roomful of my nanas". Lib says they'll have to go through with it they can't be ageist. She slips on a 'Naughty Nurse' headband and says she'll be on standby in case it gets too much for them.
Coffee Shop
Serena and Lana are talking about bands while they work. Serena says that she thinks the guy from Coldplay is a spunk, and Lana agrees but says the other guy is cuter (even though she can't remember his name). When Serena asks about where she's from she explains that her family moved to Canada when she was 4 and only came back about a year ago. Harold comes in to check on them and when he bustles back to the kitchen Lana smiles and says Serena was right, he's really sweet. Lana gets this weird look on her face and says she finally realises where she's seen Serena before - "The photographic studio. Chris Cousens." Serena looks mortified.
Number 30
Stu and Olivia walk out towards the kitchen after their bedroom fun. Stu offers to make bacon and eggs for dinner (he hasn't got a very good culinary repertoire). She says it sounds perfect and he says she's perfect. Olivia slightly winces at the statement. Stu goes to the kitchen as Olivia takes a call on her mobile. The person on the other end wants to meet her that night about something and hangs up when she says she can't make it. She looks distressed and bails out on Stu saying that she's got a family thing she has to go to.
Coffee Shop Kitchen
Lana and Serena are talking about Chris. Serena is hesitant at first but soon realises that Lana was a victim of him as well. They share their horrible experience and say how manipulative Chris was.
LANA: It took me a long time to get over.
SERENA: I'm still not over it.
Harold walks in and says they can finish up for the day and that they did a good job. When he leaves Serena says to Lana that not all men are like Chris Cousens. Lana asks if she's seeing someone then and Serena admits that it's not quite happening at the moment. Lana asks about Erinsborough High and is worried because she doesn't know anyone, but Serena smiles and says she does now.
Susan's
The lingerie party has just finished and the old ladies have bought quite a few things. Rose says she had a great time and it was something to take her mind off finding Dr. Tyler at the hospital the other day. "I can't wait to get home and show my own little maid's outfit to my new beau! And I think that even my late husband would approve." The ladies leave and Lib says she hopes she's that cool at their age. Sindi throws a coat over her maid outfit and says she's off to celebrate the "wretched" robot's win - she's wearing the underwear still because she has a robot to compete with.
SKY: Is it just me or is she borderline insane?
LIBBY: Oh no, she's just insane.
Pub
The boys plus Stu are celebrating CT's win. Sindi comes in and shows Toadie what she's wearing but he doesn't even bat an eyelid saying that CT's been booked for another robot challenge later that week. The start up a "Cake-Taker! Cake-Taker!" chant and Sindi looks discouraged.
Later that evening everyone is dancing merrily around the robot (those Ramsay St boys can sure bust a move, let me tell you...). Sindi wants to go but Toadie isn't ready quite yet.
Olivia's there at a corner table talking to that shady looking guy that she does sometimes. The guy says she still owes him for something, and Olivia says after that she's done. Stu looks over and becomes very suspicious, going up to the guy and grabbing him in a lock hold saying that it's the guy from the building site robberies. Olivia says to Stu he's got it wrong and begs him to let the guy go. He does, but he's not impressed.
