Jack telling Lyn he uses clubbing to release the pressures of work.
Susan and Tom and Lyn and Karl in the park.
Susan, Karl, Tom and Izzy look at each other for a while. Susan introduces Tom to Karl and Izzy. Karl introducers Izzy as Max Hoyland's sister. He tells them Izzy wants him to teach her to play the guitar. Tom says that's always something he'd like to learn. Karl comments about his being busy around the parish. Tom tells them he's left and he's now just an ordinary bloke. Izzy looks on in horror. Karl wants to know what an ex-priest does when he leaves the church.
SUSAN: Anything he wants. That's the point
Karl and Izzy move to the other side of the park. Susan watches them. She tells Tom she's proud of him for handling it so well. Tom asks Susan when Izzy's due. Susan says she doesn't know and doesn't care. The decide to go get an ice cream.
Jack is asleep in the Ute.
Boyd and Serena are looking for Sky and Scott who are working together on a project. They find them in a classroom cutting out picture of women from Vogue. Sky tells them it's to show the difference in the media depiction of women. Boyd wants to go and get burgers. Sky says they can do that later.
(Switching between Karl and Izzy at the Coffee Shop and Susan and Tom in the pub)
Karl and Izzy are talking about Tom and his decision to leave the church.
Susan tells Tom not to worry about Karl as he's the last person to be judging anyone.
Izzy starts rambling about Tom, she calls him a con artist. Karl looks shocked she feels so strongly about it. Izzy says it's because her mum is a Minster and people like Tom give all the others a bad day.
Susan tells Tom the last thing he needs is Karl judging him.
Karl says it's Susan's mistake if she is having a midlife crisis and there is nothing they can do to hurt him or Izzy.
Jack is dancing around to loud music. Lyn watches him. Jack begins to use the electric saw and doesn't see the cord is under the wood. He's about the cut through it. Lyn yells at Jack but he doesn't hear her. Lyn runs and pulls the plug out of the power point just in time.
Jack tells Lyn he knows she's worried and he promises it won't happen again. Lyn says that's what all kids say to get their parents to be quiet. Jack tells Lyn he's been thinking and he's going to give up all his late nights. Lyn suggests tonight she get a few bad action movies out and they watch them together.
Sky is telling Boyd, Scott and Serena she's getting sick of the dancing and Grease Monkeys and she's thinking of asking Harold for her old job back. Izzy overhears them and tells Sky she will not be working at the Coffee Shop again. Sky says she'd like to get Izzy back. Boyd warns her against it because of what happened last time. Scott is intrigued and Sky tells Scott she wrote a letter. Scott tells Sky she should never leave evidence, you need to be in-and-out like a thief in the night. Tom and Susan walk in to get a cheesecake. Izzy asks Tom if he's in trouble with the archbishop and if this sort of thing happens often.
Lyn and Jack are watching the movie. Lyn look sup at Jack and he's asleep. Lyn pulls the blanket over Jack, turns the TV and lights off and goes to bed.
Tom and Susan are eating the cheesecake. Susan says they're lucky Sindi isn't home as each point was worth 17 points. Tom asks about Libby. Susan says she's out giving them some privacy. Tom says he thinks she's avoiding them. Susan says Libby is more upset about Karl being trapped into a family with Izzy. Tom wants to know why Susan thinks Karl is trapped. Susan tells Tom that Karl didn't want another baby and Izzy did. Susan adds she almost feels sorry for Karl.
Lyn walks into the kitchen to find Jack asleep on his schoolbooks
Boyd and Serena walk up to the counter to talk to Izzy. Sky and Scott sneak into the kitchen. Scott swaps the lids of the decaf and regular coffee containers. Izzy is about to go into the kitchen when Boyd knocks something off the counter to distract her. Scott and Serena sneak out.
Izzy and Tom are in the park. Izzy is freaking out about Tom leaving the church. She tells him he can't tell anyone. Tom says he's just left the church not abandoned his values. He tells Izzy she should tell Karl the truth but Izzy says Karl will leave her. Tom asks Izzy if she loves Karl and if Karl loves her. Izzy says yes. Tom says then there love will last. Izzy says she's so afraid that oneday she will just blurt it out. Izzy eventually agrees to tell Karl the truth.
Susan wheels out Ben's old cot telling Tom, he has a big bed now and the cot will have to go in the garage.
Tom has the paper he asks Susan if she wants the news section or the entertainment section. Susan asks him to guess.
TOM: OK, you're an English teacher and a student in philosophy and psychology...it has to be the gossip section
SUSAN: Yes you know me already
Susan says maybe they should give the cot away as there won't be anymore babies for a while. Tom looks at her and Susan says she's not giving it to Karl. Susan says she will be forever tied to Isabelle Hoyland. Tom tells Susan that Izzy came to the church to confess to him.
Sky wants to know if it's possible to become an adrenaline junky after one stunt. Serena reminds Sky that the coffee shop if Harold's too. Sky says all's fair in love and war. Boyd tells them to relax as no one will even notice the difference. Sky's upset they went to all that trouble for nothing.
Susan says it's interesting Izzy's feeling guilty and it must be huge if she needed to confess. Tom says he can't say anymore. Susan reminds him he's not a priest anymore. Tom says it's irrelevant, the secrets go with him to the grave. Tom changes the subject he's found a job but she's not to go bragging to the Neighbours about it. Tom says he's got a job as a courier.
Izzy is sitting waiting for Karl. She rubs her stomach "He's going to hate us isn't he".
Karl sees Izzy sitting there and apologises for being late. He hands her a bag and tells her to open it. Izzy pull out a pale yellow baby romper. Karl says they also had pink and blue but he didn't want to risk it. Izzy starts to cry. Karl tells her she can have any colour she likes. Izzy says it's not the colour. Karl tries to make her feel better by telling her she'll be a great mother. He then tells her he loves her. Izzy tells him she just wanted to say that she's the luckiest girl in the world and she can't wait to have their baby.
