Recap
- Boyd finds where the keys for the cars are kept.
- Toadie telling Angie he's getting married.
- Stu tells Kat it's 'my way or the highway'.
Boyd taking the keys for the Mustang.
Boyd turns the keys, turning on the headlights and the blinkers. He fiddles with the radio, and turns it on loudly. He turns it off and looks around nervously, checking if someone has seen him.
Toadie is fussing over the tongs he borrowed of Max, and is trying to clean the rust off them. Dee is struggling for attention, and informs him that it is scary when he is paying more attention to tongs, when he should be helping her plan the wedding. Stu and Kat come back, and he asks her to stay the night. Kat thanks him, but she says that she is too tired tonight... but will make it up to him. When Stu comes into the lounge room by himself Toadie ridicules him. Stu defends Kat saying that she has a pretty full on job at the stables, and takes Toadie's comments to heart. When Stu goes to his room, Dee tells Toadie that what he said was harsh; but he laughs and said he was having a bit of fun. Toadie asks Dee to take the tongs over to Max's place.
Dee knocks on the Hoylands' door, but then drops the tongs. Summer jumps in fright, and asks who is at the door. When she hears that it is Dee she breathes a sigh of relief and opens the door. She gives the tongs to Summer and apologizes for dropping them. Dee then pears in and asks if she is home alone. Summer insists that Boyd is studying in his room, and that she's watching a movie while Max and Steph are at the reunion. Dee smiles and says if they need anything just ask.
Steph and a few girls are chatting in the pub, and Max is sitting there almost bored to tears. He insists that he has to check over some paperwork while he's here and lets them have a chance to talk without him around. The girls then give Steph their 'seal of approval' with Max. Steph then finds out that one of her friends is now an accountant- but when they find out that she is delivering parts, they are surprised and admitted that they thought Steph would be doing something more exciting, as she was the most determent at school.
Dee is trying to talk about the wedding, but Toadie is still talking about the tongs. He insists that a BBQ is a part of culture, and Dee just scoffs. She then sighs and doesn't know how they can organize the wedding in time, when there is a knock on the door. Stu answers it to find Angie standing there. They are all shocked to see her, but Toadie is shocked at how large her suitcase is. When Toadie asks why she is here, she admits that it is the first Rebbecci wedding in a long while and it is going to be done right! She then starts to suggest things for the wedding for example: doves and people dressed in white on stilts, but Toadie asks why didn't she tell him by phone. Angie admits that since she and Kev have got back from their roadtrip things have been a bit dull, so she left Stonefish in charge and came down to stay for a while. Stu interrupts saying that he is heading down to the pub. Angie picks up her luggage and says that she bought a trundle bed, so she can sleep anywhere. Toadie looks horrified.
Boyd is pretending to drive the mustang. A security truck then pulls up, and shines a torch around the garage; including Boyd and the mustang. He ducks down in his seat as the torch shines over him.
The torch is turned off and the security truck pulls away. Boyd sighs in relief.
Steph friends finally leave the bar. She heads up to Max's office and asks if he has done all his 'paperwork.' She laughs and says he can admit it: he was bored. He smiles and says that she was bored too, so she has not reason to taunt him. She grins and says that it was good to find out that a girl that was taunting her in year 9 only works in a connivance store. Steph thanks Max for going, and he hugs her and says as long as she enjoys it. She smiles and gives him a hug, and admits that reunions get you thinking about what you have and haven't done. They start to head home and say hi to Stuart, who's on his way in. Stu is shocked to find Kat sitting with her friends having a chat- just after telling him how tired she was. Kat calls out hi, but Stu ignores her and sits at the bar.
Steph and Max come home from the reunion and Max asks why Summer is still up. She gets up off the couch and says that she was watching a movie. Max wants to know where Boyd is, but before she can answer he walks in and says that he was studying in his room. Max and Steph head out into the kitchen and Boyd thanks Summer for covering for him. Summer shakes her head and says that she hates lying for him, and that one day she won't. When they both head to their bedrooms, Max and Steph come out and sit on the couch together. Steph thanks him again for taking her, and he tells her how beautiful and intelligent she is and it was a pleasure to take her. She smiles and says that she could get used to this, and Max looks at her and asks her to stay the night.
Kat comes up to Stu in the bar telling him that he is cute when he is sulking. He asks her if she knows why he is upset with her, but she just shakes her head confused. Stu angrily tells her about all the time she is spending with her friends, and she is just brushing him aside. She looks at him strangely and says that her friends are important to her, but Stu interrupts her asking if she could just fit him in somewhere. He then tells her that they shouldn't be seeing each other anymore, and leaves the bar.
Angie is continuing to plan the wedding, talking about how traditional music is good to play at a wedding, unlike all the modern day stuff. She suggests something like the phantom, and Toadie and Dee look at each other in a 'help get me out of here' kind of way. When she finally asks what Toadie thinks, he tells her that he needs a nice cup of coffee. Angie heads to the kitchen, and Toadie apologizes to Dee about his 'meddling mother' She smiles at him, but then Angie yells 'I thought you got rid of these old mugs Toadie!' Toadie tells her to add them to the bridal registry, but Dee goes to the kitchen to show her where the new mugs are kept. Stu then comes in and calls out to Toadie 'I don't want to talk about it.' Toadie begins to count under his breath, and by the time he reaches 4, Stu comes out admitting he broke it off with Kat. Toadie congratulates him, because she did seem to call the shots and wear the 'pants' in the relationship. Toadie then jokes about if the relationship had lasted longer, Stu would have lost his masculinity. Dee then comes back in telling Toadie to take his feet of the coffee table, and asks when he is going to bleach the stain on their bedspread. He says he will get right on it, and Stu smiles and says that he likes Dee's 'pants' and they fit her better then they fit Toadie. Toadie looks sheepish.
Max and Steph come out of the bedroom. Max kisses her, and says that the kids have to get used to it. Boyd comes out and is shocked to find Steph still there. When Max tells him that she stayed the night, Boyd scowls. Summer comes out all excited when she finds Steph there and asks Max if she needs to knock when she wants to go into his bedroom now. This upsets Boyd and he storms off and Max calls after him. He says that he will get in touch with her later, and she leaves and Max heads after Boyd. Summer calls out to him 'Does Steph wear Pajamas?'
Toadie is dropping his car off at the garage. He asks Stu if he can do it for free as he is trying to save for the wedding. Stu smiles and says no because that would be robbing Libby and little Ben. Angie calls out to Toadie to hurry up as they have five venues to look at. Stu admits he went through the same thing with his first engagement, and advises to keep low and make up as many excuses as you can.
Steph drops in at the bar later and says that she has just knocked off, so she can spend some time with Max. She asks him how it went with the kids, and he tells her that Boyd stormed off so he never had time to chat- but as for Summer, she's in heaven. Steph offers to be with him when he explains things to the kids, and Max kisses her. She then gets a call from Mocco, and they ask her to come back and deliver some parts. She reluctantly agrees and says that she'll get in touch later.
Stu asks Boyd if he can drive. Boyd smiles and says that his Grandpa taught him when he was on the farm. Stu tells Boyd that he has to go somewhere, and asks if he can drive the car into the garage. A stoked Boyd agrees, and as Stu pulls away in his car, Boyd backs Toadie's car into the garage. He then thinks for a moment, and reverses out again.
When Toadie comes home he asks Bob to kill as Angie walks in, offering coffee. Toadie aplogies for 'cyclone Angie' but admits she is handling it really well. Dee smiles and says that mothers have always seem to got on well with her, and she is fine with Angie staying. Toadie grins and asks the reason she is doing this is about the fight they had at the Rebbecci Roundup about his parents. She laughs sarcastically, and Toadie thanks her for admitting it.
Boyd is calling Heather on his mobile from inside the car. The car is parked outside of her house, and when she notices Boyd, she asks what he is doing with the car. He offers her a ride, but she says that there is no way she is getting in that car. She then reminds him that they have broken up. Boyd shrugs, and calls her a suck- but she tells him she is not a suck... she's just not stupid. She shakes her head as he drives off.
Boyd is on a dirt track, and is doing donuts with the radio on. He continues to skid and lets out a yell off joy. Next time he tries he loses control of the car, and it hits a tree.
