She can't decide on whether to have cream or custard with it, and decides to have both. Summer, who has been listening asks if Lyn if its her final binge before she goes on a diet. Lyn looks surprised, then she tells Summer that she's put on a bit of weight because she's pregnant. Boyd congratulates her, then Summer suddenly asks Lyn where baby's come from. Lyn gets nervous and says they come from heaven. Summer asks how do they get from heaven to her tummy. Before she answers Boyd tell Lyn to ignore Summer, that she's just being evil. Lyn smiles and calls Summer a "little ratbag". After Lyn leaves Boyd tells Summer she should think before she opens her mouth.
Karl, Susan and Darcy are having dinner at the pub. Lou brings some wine over, but Karl says he won't have any because he's decided to give up alcohol. Lou goes back to the bar where Rosie is seated. She realizes he's up to something because he keeps looking at his watch. He tells her he's expecting someone. A man and his wife walk in. They introduce themselves as Hank and Mary Ellis. Lou welcomes them and tells them he was disturbed to get the complaint letter because he wants his customers to be happy. He tells them they will have a great dining experience and he shows them the best table. Lou goes back to the bar and tells Rosie that it isn't wise to scam a scammer.
At the Scullys, Michelle wants attention from Connor. He tells her he'd love to but he wants to finish some paper work. Michelle smiles, telling him to tell her when the fun Connor returns and she walks into the loungeroom where Lyn is watching TV. She tells Lyn she doesn't like how Connor is busy with all that paperwork. Lyn tells her that Joe has given Connor extra responsibility and he wants to make Joe happy. Michelle decides to go and make Connor a hot chocolate and Lyn asks for one as well.
Toadie is channel surfing. Dee tells him to stick to one channel, so Toadie tells her to choose. Dee tells him there's reality program about weddings on. Toadie laughs and acts like he doesn't want to watch it. Dee asks, "So, you don't like weddings?" Toadie tells her that he likes going to them because of the free food. Dee asks if he's ever going to be married. He tells her he will one day. She asks how long he thinks it will be. Toadie looks worried and asks her she's going to propose. Dee looks surprised and tells him no, that she thought he was going to propose and shows him the wedding brochure. Toadie laughs and says its Stuarts. Dee tells asks him why his name is on it. He tells her because he knows the guy who runs it and he was asked to pass it on to Stuart. Toadie continues to laugh hysterically. Dee tells him it's not that funny and goes to answer the ringing phone. After she says hello, there's no answer for a few seconds. Then someone says, "I know your dirty little secret." Dee looks worried and asks who it is.
At the pub the Ellises are continuing their meal. They tell Lou its delicious and that the wines great too. Lou goes back to the bar and Rosie asks him what he did to the wine. He tells her nothing except that he put a cheaper wine in a more expensive bottle. Rosie tells him she's worried at how nice he's being to them. He tells her that they are the ones who will be worried. Rosie asks him not to do anything too silly. Lou puts on a big Mexican hat, laughs and tells he wouldn't do that. He goes over to the Ellis' and starts playing a ukulele and singing.
Toadie asks Dee who was on the phone. She tells him it was a wrong number. Then she asks if anyone had come to the house while she was gone. Toadie tells her only him and Stuart. Dee looks a bit worried and Toadie asks her what's wrong. He tells her she seems a bit jumpy. She tells him it's probably just the movie they're watching, and that it's scary. Toadie laughs and says its not as scary as the wedding show.
Back at the pub, Lou deliberately spills some water on Hank Ellis and pretends it was an accident. Then he offers Mary Ellis a chocolate, then he pretends to sneeze and wipes his nose on his arm as he says he made the chocolates with his own hands. Hank starts to get angry and asks Lou what kind of stunt he's trying to pull. Lou says he could ask him the same question, and gets out the letters of complaint for all the places in the Lassiter's complex. He calls them scam artists, and not very good ones. Hank says, "So, call the cops." Lou tells him he will if he doesn't pay his bill. Mary says they don't have enough money to pay for all the food. Lou gives them a tea towel each and sends them off to clean dishes in the kitchen. Lou goes back to the bar where Rosie and Susan are laughing their heads off. Susan tells Lou she wouldn't want to get on his bad side, while Rosie says she hasn't had a good laugh like that in ages.
At the building site, one of the workers asks Connor where Joe is. Connor tells him Joe is working from home for a few days. Connor tells the worker to go and start work. He doesn't look very happy as Connor walks away.
At the Kennedys the phone rings. Karl answers it. Just like Dee's call no one answers for a few seconds, then they say, "I know you're dirty little secret." Karl isn't very happy and asks who it is. Nobody answers and he yells that his private life is his business and no one else's. Then they hang up. Susan comes in and Karl asks her if she told anyone about the drink driving charge. She tells him she hasn't, which leads Karl to believe it must have been Toadie.
Toadie is laughing and tells Dee how scared she got when she thought he was going to propose. She tells him she didn't, that she just thinks that some people get carried away with getting married. Toadie goes and opens the door after someone knocks. Karl walks in and starts accusing Toadie of telling people about the drink driving charge. Offended, Toadie tells him he hasn't and asks him how he would feel if Toadie came and asked him if he had broken doctor-patient confidentiality. Karl apologizes and says he was just upset.
Back at the building site. Connor tells one of the workers that he's doing a good job. He tells Connor that he'll finish after he comes back from the bank. Connor tells he can't do that until lunchtime. After Connor walks away, the worker looks angry and gets out his mobile. He rings the department of immigration.
Lyn and Michelle arrive home and are impressed to find that Joe had made lasagne for the kids while he and Lyn go to the Kennedys for dinner. Then he gives Lyn a salad sandwich. She tells him she could get used to this. Joe tells her that's the idea.
At the surgery, Darcy asks Dee if she is still going to the charity ball. She seems reluctant. Toadie and Karl walk in. Darcy asks Karl if he's going, but he refuses. Dee says she doesn't really want to, because the tickets cost $200 each, and she'd rather spend the money on something else. Darcy says that its a good cause which makes Toadie want to go and he tells Dee they should go, that it would be good fun. She finally agrees, while Karl says he'll keep it in consideration. After Dee and Toadie leave Susan comes in, complaining yet again about the new principal. She says the principal is making her do a course in Ballarat to get better computer skills.
Later at the Kennedys, Lyn and Joe are over for dinner. Susan is telling Joe the recipe of the meal she just cooked. She tells him she'll just give him the recipe. He says he'll swap his veggie lasagne recipe with it. Lyn asks Karl why he isn't drinking any wine. He tells her he's training. Joe starts teasing Karl, basically saying he's too old to train. Karl tells him he's very fit and might do some extreme sports. Joe replies, "If you want to do some extreme sports try pushing a vacuum cleaner around."
At the Scullys, Connor and Michelle are saying how good Joe's lasagne is. Michelle tells Connor that it's weird how Joe is around all the time. Connor says that he misses Joe at the building site, that Joe is better with the workers. Michelle teases him and asks if the workers are pushing him around. He tells her its nothing like that and he can handle it. The phone rings and Michelle answers it. During the phone conversation, Michelle starts to look worried. She tells Connor that it's the department of immigration wanting to talk to Joe about him.
