He is concerned whether their relationship can survive. Summer then enters the kitchen to return a lost Bob, but Stuart tells her she can keep him to play with for longer. Stuart then asks Flick if there is anything he can do to change her mind.
Boyd is in the lounge, on the phone to Heather. Heather wants to spend time alone with him, but he suggests they go to see Spiderman again. He appears anxious about being alone with Heather; seemingly because he lacks experience in the kissing department. As Boyd leaves in embarrassment, Summer tells Bob she is going to make Stuart a present.
Flick and Stuart are still discussing New York, and how they can make their relationship work. Stuart is worried of losing Flick because there are ‘so many guys' in New York.
Connor is complaining to Max about the double booking fiasco. He then goes to join Joe, Michelle, Steph and Nina at their table as they praise Nina's wonderful performance, although it turns out Steph missed it because she was late. The conversation then turns to what an idiot Max was for double booking the pub.
Flick is on the Sofa with Harvey, stressed about the conversation she's had with Stuart. Joe, Steph, Michelle, Connor and Nina return from the Pub. However she son cheers up when Flick announces she is planning to go to New York with Michelle.
Stuart is drowning his sorrows at the bar, when Max persuades him to play a game of air hockey. Stuart disagrees, leaving Max to think he is the problem and that he's not hit it off well with her.
Flick and Steph are in the kitchen having a girlie chat about New York and Stuart. Steph seems apprehensive about their relationship surviving the distance, saying that a lot can happen in 6 months.

Connor tells Michelle he was selfishly happy when she was having second thoughts about New York.
Boyd was supposed to be looking after Summer, but he was out with Heather, and Summer is not home when he gets back. Summer then comes in with Bob and Boyd notices she has make-up on. It is the next morning, and a half-asleep Stuart answers the door to Flick. Neither of them has slept well. Flick is about to sit down in the kitchen when something startles her under the table. Stuart looks down and finds Summer who has come to give him the present she made. Stuart is a little annoyed about her letting herself into the house and asks her to leave.

Steph tells Joe she feels pathetic for still living at home when her younger sisters are about to go off and see the world. Joe tells he doesn't want her to leave. Max then interrupts saying she can hang out with Summer if it doesn't make her feel too old; a comment which Steph is infuriated by.
Joe and Steph enter, still discussing Max's comment.
Summer continues to pursue Stuart, asking if he realises she made the bracelet herself.
An excited Flick enters, having just had the good news that she has passed her driving test.

I can't stop thinking of you.
You've taken my heart,
Please don't keep us apart.”
