Recap:

- Drew and Libby talk about moving to the farm.
Farmhouse/No.28
Lib and Karl are talking on the phone; they discuss buying a pony for Drew to satisfy his love of horses, joking that it could join Cassie in the back garden. Karl asks when they are coming back to Erinsborough as he misses Ben, but Libby tells him that they still have a few things to sort out at the farm. Changing the subject, Karl tells Libby that Susan has agreed to go to the medical ball with him, and the suggestion of perhaps going to visit Billy and Anne, with Mal to become a family once again. Libby says it would be nice, but has to cut the conversation as Dougal has arrived back home.
Outside on the Farm
Dougal is dropped off from school camp and Drew and Libby come outside to meet him. Libby does the typical "you've grown" routine, and Dougal admits that he enjoys being on the farm now, hence not running away so see them anymore. He lets slip that it'll be better when they move to the farm. Drew tells him that nothing has been decided yet, but Dougal tells him that they need him as he found his father having another attack in a field the other day and Ron listens to Drew about taking his medication. Drew says it's not as that simple, as they have Libby's family in Erinsborough to think about.
Standing on the fence, the three of them watch the horses in the paddock. Dougal mentions that Drew would be really good with them. He tells Libby that Drew is able to break in any horse, including the frisky horse in the next paddock. Drew says he'll just need a firm hand. They climb of the fence and head back to the farmhouse. Dougal keeps badgering Drew to move, saying that the family really needs him. Libby comments on how alike the two of them are. Drew recons it's the Kirk genes. Libby wonders what she's got to come from little Ben. Dougal asks if Drew would be able to have a go with the frisky horse whilst he's there, but Drew admits he may not be around for long enough.
Number 30
Dee is in the bathroom trying to cover up her broken nose for the medical ball. Toadie tells her he'll love her, whatever her nose is like. She comes out of the bathroom with micropore tape strapped across her nose, but nothing Toadie says helps. Dee worries that she will be laughed at when she comes to draw the prizes later on in the evening, and runs back to the bathroom. Toadie sees the micropore tape that she left behind.
Number 28
Karl opens the door to Darcy, who arrives with the wine. He tells Darcy that he was expecting it to be Susan as she's agreed to go as his date, but tells Darcy that he won't be left out. Karl is obviously nervous about Susan's arrival as he is unable to stand still but Darcy reassures him that he'll be fine. Susan arrives and Karl tries to offer her something from the spread of aperitifs he has laid out on the table, however she is much more nervous about what she is wearing for the evening and runs off to the bathroom. Darcy reassures Karl that it'll be a great night for all.
Lou's Place
Harold finds Rosie at the bar and gives her a cheque from a friend of his at the Salvation Army for the re-build of the church. Rosie is extremely pleased with the amount and tries to show Lou but he's a million miles away!
Medical Ball
Darcy and Karl are giving Susan little bits of advice as they walk to their table, about who to avoid during the evening. She seems nervous, but Karl tells her that people will be pleased to see her looking so well. Just as they sit down another doctor passes a sly comment at Darcy. Darcy comments that he'll be the freak show of the night, until Dee and Toadie arrive with tape both their noses. Susan jokes as to who will be talked about most, but Karl makes a pact that no-one is going to ruin their night, they all agree.
Farmhouse:
Libby has just put Ben to bed, and returns to join Drew on the couch, where they enjoy a glass of wine. They agree that Dougal and Ron have been getting closer since they last saw them, and even telling each others jokes. Libby tells Drew that she misses family life, what with Mal and Billy being away and the situation between her parents. She asks if he misses his family. He agrees that he must do, but they're a family of their own now with Ben. She agrees but wonders what it'd be like for Karl and Susan if she left. Drew realises that she's thinking of moving to the farm, and Libby admits that she thinks things well stay the same forever but agrees that change is inevitable.
Coffee Shop
Lou comes around as Harold is tidying up to offer him a lift home. Lou tells him that he made a lovely effort for Rosie earlier, and Harold replies that it's what friends do for one another. Lou asks if he's more than friends as he overheard him talking to Karl. Harold admits that he still has feelings for Rosie, but says he wouldn't do anything on them. Lou mentions that he and Rosie were talking about it, which upsets Harold who tells him that he'd rather walk home. Lou leaves.
Medical Ball
Dee and Toadie are dancing, Darcy is miserable that none of the nurses will dance with him and are just staring at him instead. Toadie recons that Susan should have a dance, but she's not so sure. Seeing that Darcy is miserable, Toadie suggests that he dances with Dee. Susan asks Karl to dance.
Number 32
Lou and Rosie have the house to themselves. Lou compares his talk with Harold earlier, to those they had back in high school, but this time he got the girl. Rosie agrees that it was right and Harold will be fine. Lou worries that Harold won't be able to switch off his feelings, but Rosie recons that he will act with integrity.
Farmhouse
Libby and Drew are packing their belongings away, ready to leave, when Libby spots the 'Kirk and Sons' sign that Ron had made. She realises that it includes Ben too. Drew agrees that they will have to come up regularly so Ben can see it, but Libby asks why he can't have the chance to see it everyday, and recons they should give it a try. Drew agrees that Karl and Susan can come and visit, whenever they like. He comments that it could become a home away from home for them, or even move up. Libby stops him from going too far; Karl would comment on Ron's farming practices! They hug and giggle.
Medical Ball:
Dee is presenting the awards and jokes about how the prize was going to be tickets to the cricket until she went to check them out, pointing to her nose. Instead the prize is a trip for two to a romantic island, and it is Darcy's name that comes out the hat. As Darcy goes to make his speech, the audience boo his name asking 'which patient he'll take with him?'. Karl goes up to defend him, saying how he recons Darcy is a great doctor, and that they all make mistakes.
Ramsay Street
The taxi pulls up and Toadie and Dee get out. Dee rips Toadie's bandage off his nose, and they say goodnight to Karl and Susan before heading to bed. Susan thanks Karl for a lovely night and she gets back in the taxi. Karl watches on.
Farm:
Drew thanks Libby for the decision to move to the farm, he says it has made him and Ron very happy. They are both sitting on horses in the paddock; Drew is on the frisky one that he said he'd break in for Dougal. He challenges her to a race to the gate, and gives her a head start. On counting to ten he only gets as far as two before his horse bucks, and Libby turns to see him being thrown off onto the floor. She rushes back to him and he sends her to go and get help. Libby gets back on the horse and canters off.
An ambulance has arrived and the paramedics are manoeuvring Drew carefully onto a stretcher. He is clearly in pain. Drew tells Libby to look after Ben, but Libby tells him she's coming with him. Libby worries when Drew stops talking to her and the paramedic tells her that his injuries are pretty severe. Libby watches Drew in the ambulance as they drive off.
