Moco
Jamie walks in, startling Steph. He asks if she's okay and what happened and she tells him they've been robbed. He wonders why she didn't use the alarm but she just didn't think. She tells him that it was Mitch and Jamie calls the police.
Coffee Shop
Toadie comes in the shop but before shutting the door behind him, he warns the dogs he's taking care of, Kiki, to not go near any strange dogs. He jokes to Joe and Lyn that the dog is racking up more scandals than its owner. He then goes on to say that he saw Mitch Foster at Moco with Steph. Toadie then leave Joe and Lyn to look a bit worried.
Hospital
Darcy's on the phone to Penny's message bank, pleading that she pick up the phone, that he loves him and all he needs is a chance to explain. Some random nurses snigger at him.
Coffee Shop
Kiki is with Toadie at the table and gives her some food for making 'that other dog very happy'. Summer walks up to him and orders that Toadie take the dog outside. Toadie explains that this is a very important dog and that she keeps getting herself into trouble. Summer stands her ground and after Toadie whispers who the dog's owner is she asks if she can look after the dog and take her outside, after all, Kiki is a hygiene risk. Toadie spots Darcy walk in and asks how Penny's going. Darcy doesn't know, and Summer thinks it's because he's been bad. Toadie now agrees that Summer can take Kiki outside as long as she guards the dog with her life. Summer scams some money out of Toadie and takes Kiki out. Darcy sits across from Toadie and starts discussing the problems he has with Penny. Basically he's a condemned man having his last meal.
Number 22
Libby's chopping food; Drew's trying to steal some while Joe, Lyn and Steph are sitting around the lounge talking about Mitch and the robbery. There's a knock at the door and Steph answers it, thinking it will be the cops. Making sure that everyone will stay with her, Steph lets St. Douglas inside. She's glad she can conduct the interview there, kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Steph learns that Libby was the one who tipped off Mitch's whereabouts.
Coffee Shop
Dacry's out of the shop and is walking along with Karl talking about how the Medical board rang after Darcy had already clocked out. Dacry seems to think they have it in for him but Karl informs him that they only just wanted to tell him when his appointment time was. Karl has told the board that he doesn't want to lose Darcy but with Penny changing her recollection of events he has a snowball's chance in hell. Darcy feels like he's being punished already. They hear Summer calling out for Kiki who has taken off and Darcy is glad he's not the only one in trouble, decides to head off. Karl spies Susan meeting up with Craig.
Lou's Place
Craig brings Susan her drink and mentions he's surprised she called so soon. Susan likes having him around, that she knows she can trust him. Her family all expect something from her but he doesn't. She talks to him about losing her memories and they have a laugh over some old memories. Susan is about to say the other reason why she brought him there but Karl interrupts, making Susan fee back to the hotel. Karl says in a really snarky voice that Susan's been avoiding him all week, just as things had started to get better. Craig suggests that maybe Karl sit down and they'll try and sort it out. Karl wants to start by Craig telling him exactly what he's doing there.
Number 22
St. Douglas is questioning Steph over the robbery; Steph says that they have already been over this. The St. wants to know why Steph asked him to leave when she saw him the night before to which Steph replies that she wasn't comfortable with him around. This isn't her house and she wasn't sure if Mitch was lying to her about his injuries. St. Douglas informs her that she was right, that the fingerprints they have from an armed robbery in South Australia confirm that Mitch is one of their boys and that if she had any suspicions of him being involved in any criminal activity... Joe interrupts, wondering who's on trial. His daughter has been through a terrible ordeal. All St. Douglas wants to do is clear a few facts. Steph can't be sure if he had done anything, if she was sure she would've called the police. She thought she knew the guy and never thought he could be a criminal. Steph pauses then goes on; she didn't call the police because she thought she might've been suspicious because of what he had done in his past, and the St. is very interested to hear those things. Joe wants to know why she's being cross examined but St. Douglas ignores him, asking if she was alone when Mitch robbed her from her workplace. Steph was, Jamie was out the back and didn't hear anything. Joe gets a brainwave and remembers that Toadie saw them at Moco.
Lou's Place
Craig never thought he would hear from Susan again. Karl reminds Craig that he still hasn't answered the question. Craig exclaimed that she called him that morning and needed to see him, that she wants someone that's on her side to talk too. Karl doesn't think he's helping by being there. They argue about Karl's behaviour lately and Karl says he's only just hanging onto his marriage by a thread.
Hospital
Craig's walking along the hallway with Susan, asking about her appointment with Peta (with an 'a'). Susan wants to talk to him and suggests dinner so Craig tells her about how Karl and him made plans to have dinner at Susan's tonight. Susan gets annoyed about it all when Karl turns up out of the blue. Karl asks if Craig has told her about that night.
SUSAN: What choice do I have? Apparently it's all organized.
KARL: Craig is your friend.
SUSAN: What are you?
She walks off to her appointment.
Number 22
Lyn and Joe are leaving, reminding Steph about dinner at their place. St Douglas thanks Steph for her co-operation and throws in an offer of a phone number of a councilor if Steph feels like she needs to talk to someone, because being the victim in a robbery is pretty traumatic. Steph thanks her but she hopes it won't be necessary. She sees the St. out and turns back to Libby who's saying that maybe a councilor might be a good idea. Steph thinks a better idea would be if she's going to betray her that Lib should talk to her first. Libby acknowledges that she should've told her, but if she was in the same position she's sure Steph would do the same thing was Steph disagrees with. Libby was worried about Steph going to meet Mitch, that he called Lib's was desperate to see Stephie. Steph still thinks Libby went behind her back thinking she can't make her own decisions and that is so patronizing. Drew steps in saying that Libby would never do anything patronizing. They ignore him, Libby tells Steph that if she had let her call the police when she wanted to she might never have been in that potentially life threatening situation. They continue arguing, Steph blaming Lib for Mitch robbing her because he though it was Steph that called the cops on him. L8ibby can't believe what she's hearing and pushes her argument to the point that Steph runs up the stairs to pack her bags.
We now cut to Steph coming down with her bag and Drew telling her she doesn't have to do this. Libby sneaks down and sits on the stairs to listen in on Drew and Steph's conversation about how Steph feels about what Libby did. Drew doesn't think it's something to lose a friendship over but Steph isn't so sure. Steph leaves and Libby walks into the kitchen saying sarcastically that she should've invited Mitch over for lunch. Drew hasn't said anything to Steph that he hasn't already said to Libby but all she wants is a bit of support from her husband. She did what she did to protect her family, it always comes first. Drew says it does for him to and when he goes to hug her, she pulls away.
Lou's Place
Susan orders some Shiraz and hears Darcy call out to her. She goes over to sit at his table, he asks if she is fine. She thinks she is. After some small talk she says she wants to get to know him again. She knows she has a lot to catch up on, but its one day at a time. The waiter shows her the bottle of Shiraz and she says that's the one. Darcy comments on the wine and she replies - "Life's too short to drink bad wine." She excuses herself, not wanting to be late for dinner with Karl and Craig.
Number 26
Lyn ranting to Joe about how she hates to be one of those mothers that say I told you so but... both she and Joe had told Steph so. Lyn wishes Steph never laid eyes on that bloke, and she's starting to see a pattern here with people that get her into trouble. Steph's a very bad judge of character. Joe thinks she just likes to give people the benefit of the doubt and it's not a bad thing. Lyn continues how people will take advantage of Steph when lo and behold, Steph wanders in after having a shower. She wants to know if she can move back in for a while, which of course it's fine. Steph tells her parents about the fight with Libby about Mitch and goes on to how she seems to get mixed up with weirdos. Lyn and Joe exchange looks.
Number 30
Toadie's on the phone to Stu talking about little lost Kiki and thanks him for trying to find her. He answers the door to St. Douglas and two doggies. He can't believe she's found Kiki but she has no idea what he is talking about. She's actually here to talk about Mitch Foster. He leads her into the kitchen and to sit at the kitchen table while she informs in that she talked to Joe Scully and that he had told her that Toadie had seen Mitch at Moco. She asks what time it was when he saw Mitch, and what did he see. It was only a quick glance but he remembered thinking it was odd because they had broken up and he hadn't been around for ages. St. Douglas asks what he exactly saw and Toadie replies that Mitch was kissing Steph on the cheek, a friendly one. Toadie wants to know what's going on but we don't get to stick around to hear.
Number 28
Craig can smell something good cooking, which is one of Susan's favourite pasta dishes. Craig assures Karl that she will come when they hear a knock at the door and Karl answers it. Craig is glad she's come tonight and Susan is too, it's a good opportunity to get things out in the open. Karl thought everything was, but it isn't. She wants a divorce.
