Michelle notices that Connor is very jumpy and asks if everything is okay. He replies back that he needs to talk to her and that there is something he needs to get off his chest. Naturally Michelle wants to know what it is about but Connor refuses to tell her now in case they are disturbed and will tell all later that day when they are alone.
The Coffee Shop
Nina and Tahnee count their blessings when Harold leaves to sort Lou out when he is talking to them about music. Just as Tahnee is about to have a go at Nina, Michelle rushes in to get her advice about Connor. Their chat about him is interrupted though by Harold talking about the choir and Michelle admits to Tahnee that she wishes she could take part if she could sing. Tahnee is grateful for the comment and tells Michelle that she is the best friend she has ever had.
No. 22
Joe pops round on the pretence of dropping something Ben left behind but it actually belongs to Harvey! He subtly asks Steph what she is doing tonight and he is relieved to hear she will be at No. 26 when he is in the hotel with Lyn.
Hospital
Harold enquires from Saxon how his mum is and he shrugs his shoulders. He is very despondent as there is not an awful lot he can do for his mum now bar waiting for her to die but Harold assures him just being there is more than enough. Saxon begins to doubt if he can do this.
No. 26

Lassiter's Lake
Harold and Saxon have gone for a walk to relive the stress and Harold suggests things that he can do to help, like playing music to her. Saxon likes this suggestion.
Lassiter's
Joe opens the champers and gives a glass to a blindfolded Lyn. He is trying to surprise her but she doesn't like the surprise - caviar. She fees him it back and he hates it too and takes a big gulp of champers to get rid of the taste.
They continue with their feast and Nina delivers the lingerie that Lyn must have left lying somewhere and Joe tries to find out what is in the bag but she prevents him.
No. 26
Connor and Michelle are making the most of their freedom making a mess of the kitchen until Steph decides to call in. Connor offers her a beer but she sends him out to buy his own rather than drinking Joe's supply. Since they are alone, Steph asks how things are going...nudge, nudge, wink, wink... but Michelle is fretting about what he wants to talk to her about in case it is about taking their relationship to the next level whereas all she is after is commitment from him. Steph tells her that she doesn't have to do anything she doesn't want to and to make it clear to Connor what she is after. Michelle invites Steph to stay but she thinks it would be better to leave them alone!
Hospital
Harold and Saxon arrive back at the hospital with music for his mum and meet Dee coming out of the room. Saxon realises straight away that his mum has died and Dee confirms it happened very recently but that it was very peaceful.
Lou's Place
Toadie is confirming the running order of events with Lou so that nothing goes wrong. Steph is impressed at the trouble he's gone to and Lou sends him home to rest before the big date.
Hospital
Dee asks how Saxon is going to Harold (Saxon is in with his mum) and is told fine. He asks if his father has been told yet, he hasn't, and decides to take that roll on as he knows the father is overseas. Harold adds that the priority for Saxon is to make sure that the boy doesn't end up in state care.
Ramsay Street
Connor comes back from the bottle shop to find Tahnee waiting for him and isn't exactly thrilled to see her. He thinks she is there for more games and decides the time has come to tell Michelle the truth and she reminds him that they will both lose her but he thinks that is a better proposition than being under her thumb.
Lassiters
Joe relaxes in the bath and Lyn comes to join them. They talk about the kids and Joe remarks that he wishes they could go back and do it all over again now they know a thing or two about raising kids. Lyn agrees with him and then orders him to move over so she can join him in the bath and from the look Joe gives, he likes the lingerie Lyn bought!
No. 26
Connor wonders why Steph didn't stay for pizza but Michelle decides it is time for their chat. She has trouble saying what she really wants to say and doesn't quite clearly say she isn't ready to take their relationship to the next level and just as Connor is about to start his speech, the phone rings! It's Mrs Coppin looking for Tahnee and asking to pass on a message to say she'll be at the squash court. Connor mentions that he thought she was sick but quickly retracts and twigging that Tahnee has been lying about her mum being ill. He comes back into the kitchen but lies about who has called and when Michelle asks what he wanted to talk about, he says that he agrees with the babbled message she said and would never do nothing to hurt her.
Lou's Place
Toadie is nervously waiting for Dee to turn up and Lou tells him the champers is ready and waiting and asks if he wants one just now to steady his nerve but he rejects that preferring to wait for Dee and settles for a glass of lemonade instead.
Hospital
Saxon and Dee are packing away his mothers belongings and she stops and goes over to hugs him, the occasion getting to him slightly. Harold is about to come in but leaves when he sees what is happening.
Lou's Place
Toadie is still waiting for Dee and still rejecting Lou's offer of a drink. Finally he decides he's had enough of waiting and blows out the candle that was on the table.
Lassiter's
Lyn presents herself to Joe without realising that Nina is still in the room but not for long! Joe remarks that Lyn took his breath away when she appeared and they get into bed and Joe decides it is time for a deep and meaningful!
JOE: I know I drive you crazy but you're still the best thing that ever happened to me and I can't imagine my life without you in it.
He hands Lyn a single rose. Aww and Lyn hugs him, saying she feels the same way too. Lyn asks him to turn the light out but he talks again about the kids being all grown up and that shortly they'll be on their own. Lyn is trying to be all romantic but all Joe wants to talk about are the kids. Being blunt, she tells him to turn the lights out but he is still talking about the kids growing up, so she takes the initiative switches the light off. Ooerr. We hear laughter and not the jokey laughter I hasten to add!
JOE: Lynnie.
LYN: (seductively) What?
JOE: Why don't we have a shot at another baby?!
Talk about a mood killer and if to reinforce this, Lyn switches back on the light!
