Recap
Flick storms off when Steph tells her that Marc likes her
Rosie tells Harold that they are only able to be friends; nothing more
Garage
A customer approaches Stuart and asks him to take a look at the choke. He offers to fix it for her and she mentions how she used to go out with a footie playing 'Parker'. Darcy arrives and asks Stuart when he'd be able to look at his car, he suggests leaving it with him for the day, and immediately starts flirting with the other customer.
Lou's Place
Harold arrives to find Lou stroking a pig, he tells him he's looking after it for a friend who's involved in a new business. He asks Harold about Rosie. He tells Lou how she just wanted to be friends, but didn't mention anything else. Harold mentions how he's still got the battle with Mal, but Lou assures him, that with the support of all the customers, Mal won't stand a chance. Harold agrees that with 8 years in the place, it would be hard.
Scullys
Marc brings Steph a present for everyday of her honeymoon, which Lyn thinks is fantastic but Steph is a bit shocked about. She slowly warms to the idea and soon realises there are only six presents, yet the honeymoon is seven days long. Marc leads her outside....
Scully Drive
...to where a brand new motorbike is standing in the driveway.
Scullys
Lyn watches from the window as Steph leaps around with glee at the sight of the new bike. Lyn calls Flick over and together they watch as Marc tells Steph that they are going to spend the rest of their lives together. Lyn starts telling Flick about a dream she had where Steph's dress started unravelling as she walked down the aisle, but Flick makes an excuse to head off to work early.
Scully Drive
Steph spots Flick and offers her a lift to work, but she declines. Marc encourages Steph to start up the engine which she does.
Garage
Darcy is still talking to Amelia as Darcy brings over her bill. He mentions how she might want to drop it back in tomorrow so he can fix some other part, and offers to take her to the football. However Darcy has already offered and she accepted his. Stuart didn't think Darcy followed football, but apparently a patient has a corporate box which he offered, but Darcy hasn't had anyone to take before. Amelia leaves and Darcy patronises Stuart a bit about not being a man, before heading off.
Lou's Place
Harold arrives and asks Lou if he'll sign the petition for the Coffee Shop. Lou agrees and tells him that Darcy and Karl will probably sign too as they are signing against the franchise and not Mal. The pig wanders out the office and Harold mentions that he'll bring him some food over later. He heads off and Lou encourages the pig back into the office.
LOU: (to the pig) Go and do some filing!
A business man at a table asks if the pig is on the menu, but Lou informs him that he isn't as he's looking after him for a friend as breeding stock. The business man offers to purchase the pig, laying out cash on the table.
LOU: I'm sorry he's not for sale.
SIMON: (laying out more cash) Lou, everything is for sale.
Scullys
Steph and Marc arrive back after taking the bike for a drive. They are both high on adrenaline, especially Steph, but she tells him she still can't accept it and doesn't need the grand gestures.
Lou's Place
The business man is still laying cash on the table, but Lou tells him it's prime breeding stock. The man asks if he was to double what was on the table making more than $500. Lou stops to think!
Coffee Shop
Darcy walks in and spots Stuart finishing off his lunch of peanut butter sandwiches and a milkshake. He enquires about his car and Stu informs him that it is done. Darcy tells him he'll pop over later. Flick arrives and agrees to sign Harold's petition, as does Darcy. Stuart comes over and tells her that she's working too hard for someone straight out of school and should relax for a bit. She comments that she's not the one getting handcuffed to cars!
Scullys
Steph tells Lyn that she's not going to be keeping the bike, and Marc seems to have got the message. Steph thanks him for all the smaller gestures but tells him they can't be giving Chloe further ammunition against them by keeping the bike, and that he should be saving his money for when they are married. Marc thanks her for keeping him in line and heads off.
Lou's Place
Lou collects the finished dinner plates from the business men who mock at him that it wasn't that hard to do. He tells them that he hoped they enjoyed their meal, but they joke that next time he should cook it on a spit with an apple in its mouth, just as Harold arrives through the door with some food scraps. Harold is disappointed that Lou sacrificed the pigs life for money and leaves.
Lassiter's Reception
Marc comes over and watches as Flick busily gets together the plan for the soon to be arriving bowling team. He keeps questioning her about it and so she asks him what he wants; a hand setting up at the rotunda. She asks if he can find someone else as she's busy but he tells him they have to work at a team and she will be fine.
Scullys
Steph is annoyed that she only has part time shifts coming up at Moco, when she needs money to fix her bike amongst other things. Lyn points out that she wouldn't have needed it, if she'd had accepted Marc offer, but Steph stands by her principles. Lyn tells her that Marc was hurt as it was supposed to be a gesture. The phone rings and Steph agrees to meet with Chloe for lunch the following day, so that she can give her something. Steph tells Lyn it's easier to postpone a wedding dress fitting than it is to postpone with Chloe!
Coffee Shop
Lou asks Harold why the Special Animal Protection League are calling him about inhumane animal practices, and are about to come and inspect his property. Harold admits that he did call them, but Lou tells him all they will find is a happy little pig, feeding on scratchings. Harold looks confused, so Lou explains how he fed the business men some pork chops from the freezer.
LOU: They are none the wiser, I am more the richer and the poor little porker goes we we we all the way home!
HAROLD: Oh!
Lou tells Harold that he didn't give him time to explain or a donation to the Salvation Army from the business men, as he drops some cash onto the counter.
Drew and Libby's
Darcy is babysitting Ben, as his phone rings. It's Amelia, who invites him out for a meal sometime. He agrees, but on seeing a snake approach Ben's crib, sheepishly asks if he can call her back. At that moment, Stu wanders in. Darcy yells at him not to come any closer, as the snake progresses up to the top of the crib. Stu spots the snake, and seeing the look on Darcy's face decides to have some fun:
STU: Ah, that's just an.... Eastern Rainbow Viper
DARCY: Poisonous?
STU: Very, yeah.... You going to pick it up?
DARCY: Pick it up? You're nuts, no, no, no, just get Ben out of here will you.
STU (approaching crib): Well that's one option, I reckon.
He bends down and picks up the snake.
STU: Strong little bugger.
Darcy leaps about a step back as Stuart swings around holding the snake. Walking about with the snake, Stuart scares Darcy into leaping towards the door. He comments on the markings of the snake as Darcy goes very pale, before asking him to get the door for him. Darcy leaps across to the door, opens it and quickly leaps back. Outside, Stuart laughs at his success in fooling Darcy.
Lassiter's Park
In setting up for the party, Flick and Marc get caught in torrential rain and so take shelter in the rotunda.
Scullys
Steph brings over some magazines for the girls to all look through as they prepare for the pre-wedding party. They realise that the others won't be there for a bit as Libby is delayed with Ben, and Dee is still at work. Lyn mentions how she is still searching for some shoes to go with Flick's outfit and Steph remembers that she saw some in a magazine. Lyn works out that it's the magazine that was in Flick's room and rushes off to get it.
Lassiter's Park
Flick and Marc ring through to reception to tell them to change the plans.
Scullys
Flicking through the magazine, Lyn comes across a photo of Marc and Flick and subtly removes it as Steph tells her about some other plans.
Lassiter's Park
Marc organises for a change of arrangements and suggests that they wait for the rain to ease off, but Flick spots someone watching them from the park and decides to head back anyway. Marc tells her not to rush as she'll just get soaked, but the random person leaves and Flick relaxes again.
