Joel wants Dee to hear him out, he says she could get a nursing job in Cairns, and he loves her.
Karl is telling Drew that this is a great time, but Drew is worried about being a father.
Flick says that Matt gave her an idea, she will get into the course.
Dee is on the phone, and give Joel the phone as she is not willing to go to Cairns with a diver with no prospects.
They hug and kiss.
Libby's Hospital Room
Libby wants to know why the baby cries every time she picks him up, Dee says that's babies for you it is a fact of life. Libby thinks the baby hates her, Dee thinks the baby has wind, Joel has to go as he needs to start packing, he wants Libby to name the baby Joel. Baby cries, Joel leaves.
Libby is worried that Dee is leaving and deserting her, Dee says it will get easier. Libby asks Dee if she is sure about the move, Dee says it will be a big change and take some getting used to.
Drew comes in and tells Libby she is a great mum. Libby gives Drew the baby, who immediately stops crying.
Flick says just because you get an impossible score does not mean that you will be any good at uni and what has academic achievement got to do with PR, everyone knows it's got to do about people skills. Lou says what you need for PR is the hind of a rhinoceros and the contentious of a snake, Flick knows she will be good but it will be tough to get onto the course, Matt suggests just attending lectures, Flick says if she is not enrolled she cannot do any of the course.
Darcy orders Sheppard's pie, Lou says that he went to the film fund raiser, Darcy says he was held up with a patient, Lou says that he invested and signed on as a spotter, Darcy says he doesn't mind. Lou thinks he can do very well out of the deal, Darcy has managed to buy back land rep.
Dee is taking a photo of Drew, Libby and the baby, a nurse and Drew take the baby back to the nursery. Dee offers Libby some more medication but she doesn't want any. Libby thinks the baby is growing, Dee leaves Libby with the photos.
Lou says he knows that most university courses are chock-a-block but what if Flick's isn't? Flick says no it never happens, Lou says if it does then they lose funding and what is the harm in going to see the dean, she should say that she deserves a chance. Flick says she should use her wit determination and charm and that Lou is an inspiration.
Joel walks in and Flick asks how he is, he says he is ok, she wants to know when the big move is, he says a couple of days and he has lots to do, she says that they should have a drink together.
Lou says that shouldn't Joel be packing or cleaning his room, Joel says that there will be two free rooms. Lou says young love how did you do it? Joel says with great difficulty.
Lou tells Darcy, “looks like you missed out.” Joel says that Dee is coming with him to Queensland. Darcy wishes them all the best but is surprised that Dee would through away her career on a whim, Joel says she can get a job there, Darcy says she might find specialist qualifications hard to get, Joel suggests that Darcy is regretting a few lost opportunities of his own, Darcy says Dee was just a fling and he has moved on. Joel says that Darcy moved on before telling Dee it was over, after Tess it was time for the next conquest, never mind the fact Dee was carrying your child but hey. Darcy asks Dee was pregnant?
Darcy asks where Dee is now, Joel says it is too late now to care, Darcy needs to talk to her and that he is not that heartless, Joel says that if he does have a heart he can leave Dee in peace. Darcy tells Joel to take care of her and leaves.
Libby's Hospital room
Libby says she thought it would be programmed how to be a good mother, Dee thinks there is information overload, Dee says maybe Libby is expecting too much and life with a baby is not like a nappy commercial, babies cry. Libby thinks Drew is doing better, Dee says Drew has not had a massive operation or tidal waves of hormones pumping through his body. Libby says she is right and she is sorry Dee is going.
Harold gives Drew some flowers, Drew says she will like them. Lou wants to run a tote at the pub as a fund raise for his Godson, all he needs is a list of 10 baby names.
Dee walks in, and greets Bob and Joel, she is late. She wants to know what Joel got up to, broke the news to Lou and saw Darcy he said she was making a big mistake but Joel put him straight, Joel wants to know who knows about her miscarriage, she says Libby, Karl and Toadie and a few staff. He offers to run her a bath, she wants lots of bubbles.
Matt is washing the car, Flick says he has missed a bit, she is plucking up the courage to go into uni, he offers to come in with her. Joel hammers in a sign saying garage sale, Matt says that Joel and Dee are both moving out.
Joel walks over and Flick says she has just heard the big news, they leave tomorrow, Flick is happy for them, Matt says they will have to go for a beer. Joel asks how Flick is she says she has no problems. Flick says to take care of bitty things and to send a postcard. They shake hands.
Flick is pessimistic as she thinks everyone has 95 plus scores, Matt says she has the gift of the gab.
Member of staff asks Flick for papers, she says she doesn't have any papers as she did not get in, he says he cannot help her, she says PR is the only thing she is good at, he says she should talk to the dean.
Dee opens the door to Darcy, he asks to come in, he just heard about the news, she says he thinks she should stay there and further her career. He says he heard about their child, the one she lost the one she couldn't tell him about. He says he has not come to upset her and that it is his fault he was kept in the dark but it still hurt the way he found out, Dee is sorry, she thinks he had no rights, she wants to know who told him the information.
The Deans office
Flick knocks, she gets called in, she introduces herself and wants to enroll. She says she only just missed out, but she knows she would be good. He suggests she goes back to school and tries again next year. She is very determined to get in. He says if a place becomes available he might consider her, but first she needs to design a campaign outline for a product or service that has nothing going for her. He will see her next week.
Dee enters and Joel says he is home, she bumped into Darcy and he knows. Joel admits it just slipped out. Dee stares intently.
