She tells them she recons it's just that Tad can't handle the drink. Flick worries about Tad as she knows that he hasn't had much to drink, but they all agree to hang on for a while and see what happens as they don't want to be caught drinking.
Dee walks into the kitchen all dressed up for her and Joel's double date. Joel however is no-where near ready but Dee encourages him to get moving, but he says he isn't sure about having another relationship and doesn't see the point in making petty conversations with people he doesn't know just to break the silence. She tells him just to go for it that night, as he's got nothing to loose. He tells her it's going to be hard calling her by a different name all night, and asks whether she's going to be Dani the interior designer or nurse. She tells him that although she's doing it to get revenge on Darcy, she also thinks he's cute, and that she'll go with being an interior designer as if she's going to change her identity then she may as well go the whole hog. Joel helps her to put on her necklace, which brings back a few memories for them both.
Darcy asks Victor what Danielle is like. She offers to go to the pub with him to check her out, but Victor tells him it's not necessary. Darcy persuades him to let him come along anyway, and tells Victor that he recons he'll be a partner in the surgery in no time at all.
The double date goes ahead and Danielle (Dee) talks to Victor about his work as a doctor, and acupuncture. Joel also tries to join in, but Victor asks Danielle for a dance, leaving Joel and his partner for the night at the table alone. They struggle to find anything to say to each other, so Joel tells her about his Marine Biology Degree.

Darcy walks into the bar, so Victor excuses himself. Darcy asks him what he's playing at and then goes to make Dee leave. She thanks Victor for a pleasant evening. Darcy makes Victor try to remember everything he told her.
Paul and Monique arrive at base camp, and tell Susan that Tad's in trouble. She sends Matt off to get the map, and Evan to call for emergency services. She asks what they were all doing at Tad's site, and Matt tells her about the party. She and Matt leave to find Tad, telling Paul and Monique to stay put.
Dee admits that she shouldn't have gone getting herself into trouble over Victor and that she needs to move on from Darcy altogether.
Victor tells Darcy that he didn't say anything incriminating to Dee, but Darcy isn't convinced and won't let it lie. Darcy recons that she either twigged or she didn't. Victor says he's pretty sure she didn't, but Darcy asks him what happened to absolutely sure?
Tad's Private Camp
Flick is sitting with Tad, who is now very ill. She tells him to keep talking so she knows he's still awake. He tells her that it would be sad for him to die and for her not to know that she was the best girl in school, and that he's always wanted more than friendship from her. Flick tries to keep him warm.
Dee is trying to remember what Victor said at the pub, about the surgery. Joel tells her to leave it, as Darcy is old history now, but she remembers Victor saying something about the older partner leaving. They agree it doesn't make sense and continue making plastic cheese on toast!
Tad's Not So Private Camp
Matt and Susan arrive at Tad's camp. Flick shows them where the bite is and they roll him over onto his side. Susan asks if they've been drinking, as it's important. Matt tells her they were.
Darcy is on the phone to Marcus telling him that the takeover will be going ahead, but that they just need more time. He tells Victor that he needs to work harder on Karl in order for him to become a partner in the business soon. He reminds him that the complication with Dee is what they didn't need, but Victor tells him to stop worrying, and leaves.
The Helicopter arrives, and the paramedics come to collect Tad. Susan explains the situation to the paramedics, reassuring Tad that she is still there. They give him some oxygen before stretchering him off into the ambulance. The others watch, as the helicopter takes off.
