Paul being challenged to chat up the girls and him walking out.
Steph enquiring about the job away from Erinsborough.
Steph is telling her parents and Mick about the job she is applying for. They all seem happy for her until she tells them about where it is and that she'd have to move out.
Madge gets a phonecall from Pat telling her about Paul leaving training camp. Harold and Madge look concerned.
Lyn is trying to find out the real reason for Steph leaving, saying she can get a better job instead in Erinsborough. She agrees if there was one she'd stay, but Lyn wants to know why she is even contemplating going for that job and they will never see her if she moves away. Steph bluntly tells Lyn to wait and see if she gets the job first before making visiting arrangements.
Dee is painting and has made a mess of the living room. Tess wants to know when the “flowing” will be over.
Harold and Madge are getting worried about Paul when he walks through the door, he came home on the bus and they want to know why he left camp. He says the other boys were older than him and he wasn't into the drinking and is giving up playing with the seniors and just wants to go to his bed. They want to know what he isn't telling him and agree to talk to him in the morning instead.
Lyn is still upset that Steph is leaving. She tries again to find out the real reason why she is leaving and suggests to Steph that it is Drew. Steph gets very annoyed at this and in a raised voice says it isn't him but she can't look Lyn in the face.
Harold is trying to coax Paul into finding out why he is quitting senior footy and what happened at camp. Paul doesn't really answer him but Harold tells him he shouldn't let a couple of boys spoil it for him.
Steph is dressed up for her interview. Joe tells her to ask for more money, as she will need to buy things when she moves there. She thanks them and they wish her good luck. When Steph leaves Lyn tells Joe the reason she is applying for that job is because of Drew and Libby and does Drew realise what he's doing to Steph.
Tess is tidying up after Dee's painting session. Dee apologises for getting paint on a cushion but Tess reminds her it isn't a studio. Dee suggests painting her portrait as a way of saying sorry, but Tess isn't exactly keen.
Pat Miller has called in to speak to Paul. He tells Harold and Madge the reason why Paul left camp. Madge tells him it might be too late for Paul to go back to footy as he is outside studying. Pat goes out to speak to Paul and tries to get him back to camp and into footy again. Paul doesn't like the attitude of the Dingo team. Pat reminds him that if he wants a crack at AFL he's got to be playing seniors now and if he doesn't go back to training he's out of the team and reminds him not to let this opportunity go to waste.
Steph is back from her interview and thinks she's done well but they've more candidates to interview and they will be in touch. Joe subtly takes Harvey out to let Lyn talk to Steph. Lyn says she is leaving because of Drew and not to let him (or anyone else) ruin her life and she must make sure she is leaving for the right reasons.
Harold and Madge are trying to find out from Paul what Pat wanted. All Paul tells them is he definitely won't be going back to the Dingo's and that he'll go back to playing for his old team instead.
Tess is trying to interpret Dee's painting of her. The phone rings and they are invited out for a drink but Tess doesn't want to go.
Lyn and Joe talking about Mick's stay at No. 26. Lyn wonders what he is doing of a job comparing him with Steph's eagerness to get a job. Whilst at the bar getting drinks she invites Dee (and Tess) to a Beauty Tree party she is holding.
Lyn asks Steph when she is expecting to hear about the job, she says today. Steph tells her if she gets the job she will go but if she doesn't she will stay and stick it out at Moco. Steph finally admits the reason she was leaving was because of her feelings for Drew, which she says she'll have to change.
Tess comes out of her room to find the living room full of Dee's mates and Dee wearing her clothes. Lyn comes over to ask if they can come over early to help set up.
Bev comes in with more overdue accounts that Steph has to phone and get payment for and wonders why she hasn't done the ones she gave her already. Steph tells her it takes time and Bev says she is too slow unlike Johnny. They get into a bit of an argument and Steph tells her she's quitting her job as she has been offered something better.
