Anne finding letters from Billy.
The Martin's leaving Ramsay Street and the Scully's arriving.
Anne is bemoaning to Lance about Billy not turning up to say goodbye to Phil and Ruth.
Susan is sticky beaking at the new neighbours wondering if she should cancel the cleaners since the Scully's turned up early and should she also go and explain the mix-up personally and return the keys Ruth left with her. Karl tells her not to fret; afterall they turned up early and tells her she'd get a better view too than from the window! Libby comes in and joins in the sticky beaking before leaving to see Drew. Susan decides to take the keys over and as the window is now free, Karl goes over to spy too.
Libby runs into Billy on route to Drew's and confirms that he has missed the Martin's leaving and that the new neighbours have arrived. Steph and Flick spot them and wave over, with Billy and Libby returning their wave. Steph comments to Flick that the natives seem friendly and she replies that he (Billy) looks all right. Although he isn't to Steph's taste, she spots someone who is – Drew, but she also sees Libby kissing him, so she knows he is taken.
Libby wants to talk to Drew, so he agrees to a coffee before work.
Susan makes her way over to No. 26 and introduces herself to Flick and Steph looking for their parents, and they head inside.
Michelle is getting the TLC treatment from Joe and Lyn when Flick says there is someone here to see them. Susan introduces herself and meets the rest of the family including the crook Michelle, who Steph is sure, is faking it until the hard work is done. Lyn calls Susan ‘Sue' which doesn't go down very well. Eventually, Susan tells them why she's called round and returns the keys before adding that it is Susan, not Sue! When she leaves the unpacking continues except for the crook Michelle…so she lays claim to the bedroom of her choice!
Toadie is spying too on the new neighbours with Anne and Lance saying they all look like bogans. They think it is weird watching someone move into their old house and spot Billy heading over. Anne wants to do a runner out the back door but before she can gather her things, Toadie opens the door and lets him in. He apologises for not saying goodbye and tells her she doesn't need to leave but she still does. Toadie asks if he's seen the new neighbours yet and does he agree that the oldest one looks pretty cute?
The Coffee Shop
Libby is moaning to Drew about the limited job opportunities at the paper and he wonders if this is what she wanted to talk about. Libby says no, it is that she has decided to go overseas even if he can't come with her, as she feels it is something she has to do and she would like it if he came along too. Drew calls her bluff and tells her to go and do it but that he won't be coming. Libby feels annoyed that Plan A hasn't worked, so tries Plan B – what if she likes it so much she stays overseas? Ah Drew has the perfect answer – crossing that bridge when it comes to it! Libby tries to feign her acceptance of his decision but you can tell a mile away it hasn't worked.
Libby is telling her parents of her backfired scheme and threatens to kill Drew! Susan tells Karl that he is to blame for giving into her as a child, which Libby refutes on his behalf before going back to spying on the new neighbours. Susan tells Karl to lend a hand after seeing Flick and Steph struggle with heavy boxes but he remains on the couch reading the paper, as it is his day off.
KARL: Libby, could you pry your mother away from the window before her nose attaches itself permanently to the glass.
Flick is moaning about having to do the removals themselves so Joe brings out a packet of cigarettes from a box and Lyn hopes he isn't going to smoke one. Michelle comes through announcing she's moved things into “her room” which just about starts off World War III over the sleeping arrangements. Joe calls a halt to the arguing by reading he riot act and threatening to start smoking again, so the arguing suddenly stops with apologies all round before they go back to the unpacking. Flick tells Lyn she has an idea on how it can be speeded up.
Flick calls round and introduces herself to Lance and Toadie before asking them to lend a hand with the heavy stuff. Billy appears and is introduced to her.
Lyn and Joe are thanking the boys for helping them, and Lyn calls Toadie “Bullfrog”! Billy tries to wind him up by calling him that too as he is unloading a wardrobe from the van with Lance.
To make her spying less obvious, Susan is cleaning the windows! She calls on Karl to again lend a hand after spotting Billy helping. Whilst this is going on, Libby is taking about what happened earlier with Drew. Susan now tells Karl they are going over and they leave Libby talking to herself until she eventually notices they've left.
Lance and Billy carry in the sofa and Lyn says “it doesn't go with the deco and what would. Whoever put this together must have been colour blind!” So Lance promptly drops his end of the sofa and tells Lyn his mum liked it like this, so thinking quick Lyn adds that it obviously blended in with the right kind of furniture before getting Flick to make the boys some tea. Steph comes through carrying Michelle's things having reclaimed the room for herself, which doesn't please Michelle. To stop the arguing, Lyn sends Steph to TCS to get everyone some lunch. Steph leaves as Karl and Susan arrive.
The Coffee Shop
Drew and Anne are talking about Billy and life in the warehouse when Steph comes in and introduces herself before asking Drew what he does. Drew confirms her suspicions about him being a mechanic, so Steph tells him they are going to get to know each other pretty well! Drew looks bemused.
Lyn is thanking Karl for letting Billy help as Joe comes in and is introduced to Karl. Joe says he's arrived as al the heavy work is done and Karl is grateful. Joe thinks it is because of Karl's “surgeon” hands but Karl says he is a GP. Lyn asks what Susan does, and she replies that she is Principal of Erinsborough High so Lyn assures her that she'll get no trouble out of Flick or Michelle. Susan replicates the question to Lyn and she tells them that she is a hairdresser. Lyn compliments Susan on her hair and tells her to make an appointment to get her hair cut and her split ends sorted! Everyone begins to leave and Karl apologises for not being round earlier. You can sense an un-easy feeling between Joe and Karl when he leaves. Lyn tells Joe what perfect neighbours everyone is.
JOE: The professor bloke is a bit stuck up.
Toadie wishes Steph had come back with the lunches as he thinks she had a “thing” for him. Toadie bids farewell and Lance tells Billy that he'll give him a lift to Pinhead's to save him walking. Susan is walking home checking out her hair for split ends! Karl tells her not to be a snob and Susan calls Lyn mad.
The Coffee Shop
Steph is telling Drew she needs a mechanic she can trust with her bike and as she does a lot of the repairs herself she only needs his occasional help. Libby comes in and Drew introduces them. Steph leaves with the lunches and Libby teases Drew that he'll be keen to see her leave since there are girls queuing up for him! Drew reminds Libby that it was her decision to go, so Libby is going to try Plan C now – and says that Drew is just using reverse psychology. Drew just kisses her before leaving to head to work leaving Libby searching for Plan D!
It's food time at the Scullys as they discuss the neighbours.
Lance makes a detour on the way to Pinhead's to deliver some things for Anne at the warehouse. Billy is furious and tells him to stop the car. Lance eventually does stop, and as he is getting out the box containing photos and letters of his relationship with Anne falls onto the floor. Billy says they are his, Lance says they are Anne's, so he tells Lance she isn't getting them back and she can kill him if she wants!
