Recap
Toadie winding Joel up about the photoshoot.
The robber entering TCS.
Complex
Lou is clearing up when he spots two police officers leaving TCS and goes to investigate.
The Coffee Shop
Madge tells Lou they were robbed. She is more intent on carrying on as normal so he tells her to sit down. Lou mentions seeing someone outside earlier, and after Madge gives a description of the robber, Lou says that was the bloke he saw. Much to Madge's annoyance, Lou takes her home.
No. 28
Karl arrives late home for supper and Susan is very frosty towards him. Drew and Libby quickly escape.
No. 24
Madge and Lou arrive and tell Tad about TCS being held up. They both start fussing and Madge tells them to stop. Tad wants the gory details and Lou tells him to shut up before leaving.
Lou's Place
Joe is telling Toadie, Drew and Libby about the photoshoot. Lou comes over wanting to know when he's getting his rent money and Joel says tomorrow which starts Lou off on mini-tantrum over the late rent. Drew suggests that he and Libby move in to help pay the rent but Libby quickly dismisses the idea.
No. 24
Madge comes off the phone to Harold and Tad wants to know why she didn't tell him about the robber. Madge says Harold would want to come home, which she doesn't want him to do, and she'll tell him all about it when he gets home. She starts to go a bit quiet so Tad says he'll go get Karl but Madge snaps at him before apologising.
No. 30
Joe is nervous about the calendar photo shoot and Toadie is winding him up before taking him outside for it.
No. 30 backyard
Nervous Joel becomes even more scared when he realises that the photographer is a woman, but as the photoshoot begins he starts to relax... until it is time to remove his bathers. As everyone including Drew and Libby watching from Number 28's back yard, he removes them and the photoshoot continues. Libby sneakily takes a few pics too.
No. 28
Susan wants to know if Karl is going to be late back for supper again, so she can get "the leather" correct. Once they leave Drew suggests to Libby that they find a place together. She reluctantly agrees, as long as it isn't Number 30.
No. 30
Joel is counting the money he got paid for doing the photoshoot wondering why he was so resistant in the first place! He even shows Toadie his agent's card!
School
Susan takes Tad aside for a quiet word. She wants to know why he didn't turn up for the tutorial, so he tells her about TCS being held up and that he didn't want to leave Madge by herself. They agree a new time instead.
The Coffee Shop
Drew and Libby are looking at flats disillusioned at how much it costs. Libby wonders if Drew can afford it, especially as he's buying the garage, just as Lou comes in. Lou conveniently asks Drew if he is still interested in buying it as he's agreed to sell it to Drew if he is. Drew ecstatically agrees.
No. 28
A glum Tad is waiting for Susan and Karl assures him she'll be home soon. On cue, Susan comes in and Karl comments to her that she is home early before offering to go get takeaway whilst she tutors Tad. Tad of course picks up on the frosty atmosphere. Susan tries to talk to him about the essay but he says he was being an idiot and that it is all cool before thanking her for being good to him. Susan tells him that she's glad that he said the things he did in a roundabout sort of way as it makes her job as a teacher rewarding.
Lou's Place
Toadie and Joe are discussing where Bob could be (he's still missing) and Lou overhears this and starts to lecture them. Joel quickly hands over the late rent money to stop him. Drew and Libby come in and she tells them about latest assignment on building sites. Drew offers to be her bodyguard, which she immediately rejects.
The Coffee Shop
Lou comes in and wonders why Madge is still open after what happened the previous night. Madge asks him to stop reminding her about what happened, so Lou goes to plan B - waiting with her until she finishes. Madge isn't exactly thrilled at this so she sends him away. When she locks up, she hears a noise in the kitchen and quickly goes to investigate but it turns out to be plates falling into the sink.
No. 28
Karl is back from the Indian with a banquet as a way of thanks for her cooking for him. He asks how she got on with Tad and she says they talked. They start to reminisce about days gone by and Karl mentions Martin's name and Susan goes all quiet. Karl wants to know what's going on.
