Pinhead has more flashbacks to the day of the accident - he sees Toadfish's car driving erratically behind him and then Toadfish driving. He snaps out of it and tells Toadie that he saw him behind the wheel.
Toadfish asks him what he's talking about, he wasn't the one behind the wheel - he can't believe that Pinhead would think he'd done it but Pinhead says it's all still such a mess. Pinhead gets out of the car and walks off to be alone.
Lou continues to have a go at Harold about soaking his shoes and Harold offers to be his trust partner next time, but Lou refuses and says he can do without his kind of help!
Tad and Paul discuss Toadie's predicament and he walks in on Paul saying that it all sounds pretty suspect. Paul later tells Harold that Tad's worried about Toadfish because Pinhead remembers him as the driver of the car - Harold is obviously shocked but still believes in Toadfish's innocence. When Toadfish walks into the Coffee Shop soon afterwards, Harold makes him aware of what Paul said -filling Toadie with even more confidence... not. A trip to the pub doesn't help much either - Karl tells him that he still believes in him and says that Pinhead must be confusing two different memories, he's just got to tell the truth and his friends will back him up. Toadfish takes that to mean that he's not telling the truth and then Lou starts to question his innocence. When Toadfish walks out, Lou tells Karl that he's not at all sure anymore whether he's innocent or not.
Paul calls Jade but her Mum tells him that she's got a cold. At school, Tad tries to hit on her and lets slip that Paul is leaving to go and live in Port Lincoln, that enrages her even more because he hadn't told her! Jade suddenly becomes interested in everything that Tad says and does, obviously to make Paul jealous. Tad doesn't appear to be seeing that though! Paul finally makes him aware that Jade's just playing a game with him but he still doesn't believe it! Poor lad. At school, Tad asked Jade out to the movies at the weekend and she accepts. Paul tells her to lay off him because it's unfair to lead him on. Tad later tells Paul that he's just jealous.
Drew pops into Number 28 and tells Karl that he's going to go and see Libby tomorrow at her Granddad's. Karl warns him about his father, who he says isn't very easy to get on with - although all the kids like him! The next day, Drew arrives at Tom Kennedy's farm and after getting no answer at the door and windows he is confronted by Tom (armed with a pickaxe!) who thinks he's Mike coming to try and get Libby back. He tells him to get off his property but thankfully Libby saves the day, although she's also a bit confused as to why Drew's not back in Oakey yet! Tom doesn't get any better and continues to be insulting, forcing Drew to wonder whether he actually likes anyone! There's the noise of a dog barking and chickens flapping about outside and Tom gets angry and runs out, he tells Drew to follow him. Tom says he keeps having this problem since Roy and Kathy, two 'city slickers,' moved in next door with a dog - who he assumes is taking his chickens. Drew meets Castro (named so because he's a survivor) the horse and they take a liking to each other. Drew asks Tom how Libby's doing and he says she's ok. He asks if he knows this Mike Healy, Drew says he hit him and Tom likes that! Tom hears the dog again and tells Drew that they'll have to stay up all night to catch him. Drew asks if he's sure it's not a fox, even though he's hearing a dog bark it might not be the one taking the chickens. Tom doesn't take no for an answer and Drew heads outside in the pouring rain!
Libby and Drew talk and he asks her when she thinks she might come back home, she says she's not sure. She goes on to say that she doesn't think she's meant to be in a relationship with anyone, but Drew says that she's just had a run of bad luck and next time things might be better.
Toadfish is alone at Number 30. He picks up the telephone and calls his Mum, he tells her that he's in big trouble and he needs her help.
