Toadfish asks Pinhead what he told the police and he says that he mentioned the argument and him coming after him in his car - The police take Toadfish's fingerprints at the station
Lou tries to help Toadfish out by taking him back to the supermarket that he was at when Pinhead was run off the road. When they get back they realise that it was futile because the cashier that served him couldn't remember him. The cashier, Steven Ferrars, has also called the police to say that he was hassled by them and so the cops call Toadfish in. Sgt. Stamisorth tells him that they have the whole incident on video and so Toadfish says that they must have him on tape too - however, the video has already been erased. The sergeant tells him that forensic have only found 3 fingerprints on the steering wheel of his car - his, Drew's and the guy from the panel beaters. At Lou's Place later, Toadfish asks Karl when Pinhead will get his memory back - Karl says that he can't be certain and he may never regain his memory from just before the crash.
Bill returns from Ballarat and wants to spend time with Anne, but Amy gets in the way when she invites herself over and talks incessantly about her flight attendant course. Bill ends up seeking refuge with Toadfish and Joel and they discuss Toadie's predicament - though they only end up making him more nervous than he already was. Later, Anne promises Bill that they can spend some time together that evening. At his restaurant, Anne tells Vincenzo about the party they're having tomorrow for Phil's birthday and Hannah's return, he says he could come over and do the cooking. Anne later tells Bill that she has to work tonight but will be home by 9:30 and that he should let himself in and wait for her. Later at the restaurant, Anne tries to call Bill when she has to stay longer than expected, but there's no answer.
Karl questions Bill about a surprise present he has for Anne, but he won't tell him what it is. Bill notices his Dad's got some flowers on the side and reads the note attached - "someone adores you, a secret I can't share, utter the name I would never dare." Karl says that he has no idea who they're from but you get the impression that he has his suspicions... (i.e. Sarah)
At Lou's Place, Joel introduces Geri to Amy who is waiting at the bar for her new boyfriend, Damien. Geri gets uncomfortable when Joel and Amy get a bit too friendly and start playfully hitting each other. Once Joel is out the way, Geri tells Amy that she thinks she's making up a boyfriend because she wants to go out with him. Amy laughs it off but Geri tells her firmly that he's off limits.
At Number 26, Bill decides to leave just as Vincenzo and Anne arrive on the doorstep.
Anne goes to shake Vincenzo's hand but he says that Italian's say goodbye in a different way. He gives her a kiss on each cheek just as Bill opens the front door to leave.
