Joel has got a new mobile phone. He reckons it'll help him pick up chicks(!)
Joel has lined up a date with Georgia from Uni. Tad says he's looking forward to meeting her. Joel offers to give him some money to go out for lunch. Tad says Joel is trying to corrupt a minor(!). Tad says he wants to study Joel's technique(!). Joel warns Tad off - Georgia is a classy girl.
Phil tells Ruth that it's not a big deal about the whole "Ruth has improved" thing in the email to Hannah. Ruth feels like she's being blamed for all the family's problems. Ruth says she tried to make it work with Hannah but Hannah wouldn't meet her halfway.
Toadie is whipping up support among the bar staff to get Lou to give them a pay rise. Joel is tidying up because Georgia is coming round.
Susan comes to invite Ruth to a Cary Grant double bill at the cinema that afternoon. Susan says Phil can come too but Ruth isn't keen. They agree to meet at the pub at lunchtime.
The Coffee Shop
Toadie is holding a workers' rights meetings with the bar staff. Harold is worried it is affecting his business. They all vote on the tactics they discussed earlier and all agree. Lou comes in and looks surprised to see them all there.
Geri has arrived out of the blue. She says Joel said it was OK to pop around at any time(!)
The Coffee Shop
Toadie tells Lou they were having a workers' solidarity meeting. Lou then demands a repayment from Tad. Lou bangs on about Tad stealing his money. Harold repays Lou out of his own pocket to get Lou off Tad's back. Harold says Tad can owe him the money instead. Tad is very grateful to Harold.
Outside the Coffee Shop
Pinhead and Toadie are hanging out. They discuss the courier business - Pinhead is not the best courier in the world, but he isn't too bad. He asks Toadie to give him a plug on the radio. Toadie agrees.
Toadie knocks on the door. Lou wants to know what the business in the Coffee Shop was all about. He says it's nothing for Lou to lose sleep about. Lou asks Toadie to do an extra shift but he says he can't. Apparently no-one else can make it either(!). Lou asks Toadie what he wants. Toadie says they want a payrise because they've all got landlords that rip them off(!). Lou refuses point blank. Toadie says it's not a stunt - it's a legitimate demand. Lou says it's blackmail so Toadie leaves him to run the pub on his own(!).
Garden of No.30
Geri is lying out by the pool in a bikini. Joel is trying to get rid of her but she won't go. Meanwhile Tad comes to tell Joel that Georgia has arrived and is in the house.
Pinhead is listening to Toadie's radio show - Toadie gives him a half-soaked plug and Pinhead isn't pleased.
Tad is helping Joel to stall Georgia. They tell her she has to take a shower before using the pool!
Pinhead comes up to tackle Toadie. He isn't happy and an argument ensues. Phil sees them arguing. Toadie says that negative advertising works - everyone will remember Pinder's Couriers. Pinhead drives off angrily. Toadie gets into his car and follows him.
Susan, Ruth and Phil are waiting for their lunch. Phil is angling to be invited to the Cary Grant film but Ruth says it's a girls' afternoon. Phil tells them about Toadie and Pinhead's argument. Lou finally brings their lunches and tells them about the work to rule.
Lou finds a hole in his pocket and realises how he lost the money before.

Joel is still trying to get rid of Geri, but she has now got into the pool and is reading a magazine. He begs Tad to get rid of her.
Joel tells Georgia that there's a big dog in the garden so she can't go out. Georgia looks out anyway and sees Geri. Georgia storms out.
Garden of No.30
Geri has packed up her things and is about to storm off. Tad tells her he's available but Geri says she's not into babysitting(!). Joel insists he's not a sleaze and persuades Geri to stay.
Tad answers the door to Lou. He has come to apologise to him. He said he has found a giant hole in his pocket and apologises sincerely to Tad. He asks if there is anything he can do to make it up to him. Tad looks thoughtful.
Lou is telling Phil that he wants a spa and pool party at Lou's house, catered by Lou, for a hundred girls, followed by a limousine ride! Phil says Lou needs to find a wife to whinge to. Phil says he has a problem with Hannah - he doesn't think her homecoming will be smooth.
Ruth is telling Susan about the situation with Hannah. They pass Pinhead's van which has crashed into a tree. Pinhead is unconscious with his head on the wheel, blood running down his forehead.
