- Susan telling Karl that if she gets the job in Wangaratta she will accept it… Karl asking what about his career?
- Tiffany asking Anne if she can stand in for a model who has cancelled, alongside male model James
- Ben repeatedly asking Caitlin to tidy her things and Caitlin telling Ben she's allowed to do what she wants, and there is nothing he can do about it!
Billy is questioning Anne about James who she is going to be modelling with and is worried he may try to crack on to her. Anne likes that he is so concerned because it makes her less worried about Caitlin! Toadie leaves No. 28 on his way to the toy shop to buy things for muck up day at school.
Caitlin and Mandi are looking at magazines and Caitlin is complaining about how boring Ben has become. Ben comes into the kitchen, overhearing, and tells Caitlin that he and Sarah deserve some respect. He threatens to pull her out of the swimming team and Caitlin has a sudden change of heart, promising to make an effort.
Toadie comes home and Karl and Susan want to know what's in his bag as it doesn't take a genius to know it's something to do with muck up day! They chase him around the room and Toadie admits it is to do with muck up day but it's only a bit of good, clean fun.
Sarah is sad that Matt can't make it down this weekend. Caitlin and Mandi appear and Caitlin offers to make Sarah and Ben dinner tonight… including cleaning up afterwards! She then informs Ben that Mandi is staying the night and Ben has a go at her for not asking first. Sarah tells Ben he's not going to get anywhere by arguing with Caitlin all the time. She offers to have a word with Caitlin herself.
It is the next day. Billy gets out of the water and Caitlin tells him he needs to work on his turns. Mandi suggests he could shave his head to improve his times! Toadie arrives and sprays Billy with a water gun that the year sevens are going to cop on muck up day… and that's just the beginning!
Teen Girl Offices
Anne arrives and Tiffany introduces her to male model James whom she will be working with today. Anne sees the skimpy outfits she will be wearing and Tiffany breaks the news that the pictures will be of them kissing!
The photo shoot gets underway and Tiffany is not happy that there is no passion between Anne and James. They give it another go and get more into it. They're all done and James leaves as quickly as he can.
Toadie enters the house with more bags and this time Karl and Susan take them off of him. He has bought flour, eggs and food colouring. Susan says she's going to have to send out a memo that there are to be no flour bombs. Toadie asks what he is supposed to do. Susan tells him he'll have to be creative, but it can't involve damaging or injuring a student or school property.
Ben has made an enormous sandwich. Sarah tells him to make himself scarce as Caitlin has just got home and she wants to have that chat with her. It doesn't get off to a great start as Caitlin drinks milk straight from the carton! Sarah says she knows Caitlin is having trouble dealing with Ben laying down the law, but to her she is just another flatmate. She says it wouldn't be fair on Ben if she has to ask them both to move out. Caitlin promises to make an effort. They end up laughing about an old girlfriend of Ben's who used to drink straight from the carton and Sarah wonders what other gossip Caitlin has about Ben!
Billy is sweeping out an empty outdoor pool when Anne arrives and tells him about the kissing for the photo shoot. Billy is a bit irritated but Anne tells him it clearly didn't mean anything to James.
ANNE: Would it make you feel better if I said that I was thinking about you while I was doing it?
BILLY: Were you?
Anne assures Billy that she wouldn't choose some stuck up model over him.
Ben walks in on Sarah and Caitlin laughing. Caitlin has told Sarah about catching Ben kissing a poster of Melody from Josie and the Pussycats! Sarah says Minnie Mouse would have been more embarrassing, although Minnie Mouse has more personality than an ex- girlfriend of Ben's that Caitlin has been telling her about. Ben is embarrassed but Sarah and Caitlin are clearly having a great time.
The subject of the Wangaratta job raises its ugly head again. Susan tells Karl the only solution she can come up with is that she rent a place in Wangaratta to stay during the week and come home at weekends. Karl hates the idea but Susan says she thinks they need to consider it.
Caitlin is still telling Sarah embarrassing stories about Ben so Ben turns the tables on Caitlin and also suggests they call Catherine for some stories about Sarah! He successfully puts a stop to the giggling.
Karl and Susan are arguing about Susan's suggestion which would mean Karl working and looking after the kids and house all week.
KARL: Look, I could come up with a million excuses why you should stay for the kids or something like that but the fact is I don't want you to go to Wangaratta because I'd miss you too much. I know your career is important but so is our marriage. I don't think I could cope if I only saw you on the weekends.
SUSAN: Oh, Karl.
KARL: You can't blame a man for loving you too much can you?
Anne is telling Ruth about the photo shoot and the slinky little dress she was wearing.
RUTH: I thought they would have put you in jeans or something.
ANNE: No, I get the feeling they like things to be pretty revealing.
ANNE: But it was OK, it was OK… it would have been more embarrassing if I wasn't wearing anything.
RUTH: Yes, well the day they do that your mother will step in and tell them to forget it!
James arrives at the house and Ruth leaves to see a client. James tells Anne he got her address from Tiffany's secretary as they didn't get a chance to talk much earlier.
Karl and Susan are cuddling on the couch. Karl says he doesn't know how he would cope going to bed alone and not having anyone to complain to about his patients, but they haven't come up with a better solution. Toadie returns from shopping yet again, carrying three big bags of bean bag balls for muck up day! Susan is exasperated but Toadie says they won't cause any harm or damage.
KARL: He'll find a way… he always does!
Anne brings James a drink and comments on how differently he acted earlier. James explains that Tiffany doesn't like her models to get too close. He says he usually doesn't feel anything for the girls he works with but with Anne it was different. He asks her if she would like to go out sometime!
