The council workers have arrived to demolish the house. Apparently they're going to take it down by tomorrow. Toadie and Pete are there, heckling the builders. Darren watches from the back fence.
Suddenly, Pete says there's someone still inside the house. The council worker is disbelieving but says he'd better go and check. There's no- one there though.

Coffee Shop
Darren is late for meeting Libby. He charms her a bit then tells her that he can't do the interview this evening because something's come up. He'll do it tomorrow, though. Libby probes him for what he's up to, but he won't tell her. He insists he's just doing a favour for a mate and she needn't look worried. He suggests that they meet for breakfast afterwards.
As he leaves, he kisses her on the lips and Susan comes in and sees this. She asks Libby what Darren is up to. Libby gets very defensive and accuses Susan of being prejudiced against ex- cons. Susan says that she trusts Libby's judgment - but she has to be sure deep down that Darren has really changed.
Pub
Phil pours Darren a beer. They chat about Lou and Cheryl a bit.
