JULIE: I promised her a nice, quiet homecoming, she'll think I deliberately lied to her!
PHIL: No, she won't!
JULIE: She's probably headed straight back to the clinic! I can't believe you did this!
CODY: But, it wasn't Phil's fault!
JULIE: I don't care whose stupid idea it was! Today was supposed to be a bright new beginning for Debbie, it's turned into a disaster!
PHIL: No, it hasn't. Look, I'll go and find Debbie and I'll just explain to her...
JULIE: No, I should do that, I'm the one who she thinks betrayed her! This is such a mess!
Cody, Brett and Danni offer to find Debbie and explain, promising to be gentle.
Danni decides not to talk to Debbie and heads off home, leaving Cody and Brett to approach Debbie.
DEBBIE: Go away! Please, just leave me alone!
CODY: Debbie...we came to say we're sorry, it was our idea to throw that surprise.
BRETT: Yeah, it was just a dumb way for saying, 'Welcome back to Ramsay Street'
CODY: It's good to see you, Deb.
DEBBIE: I can't believe people can be so insensitive. I've just been in a psychiatic clinic! the last thing I need is people jumping up and down having a party all around me.
CODY: We're your friends, Debbie. We're glad that you're better.
BRETT: And we just want you to know that if you need anything then you can rely on us.
DEBBIE: ...thank you, I appreciate it. Right now I just need some space, OK?
DEBBIE: See you.
She heads back inside.
BRETT: Later. (To Cody) We blew it.
CODY: Maybe she has changed.

BRETT: I've miss you, Deb, I'm glad you're home.

DEBBIE: You can do it to me any time you like.
Debbie asks if she can see Louise.

PHIL: Why, because you're all battered and bruises?
DEBBIE: No...guess everyone's stopped staring at me.
HELEN: No- one *was* staring, darling.
DEBBIE: Well...it felt like they were.
Debbie and Hannah start a cushion fight, laughing.
Mark pops round to apply for the job at the Coffee Shop. He would also like to run his home delivery service from the Coffee Shop kitchen for a commission. Annalise agrees, but isn't sure they can work together.
MARK: It's different this time, we'll just be working together, as friends.
ANNALISE: What if we were to...you know...get romantic again?
MARK: We won't.
ANNALISE: Well, I don't know...I'll have a think about it, alright?
She closes the door.
Marlene has cooked them all a nice roast dinner and Danni and Brett are very appreciative. Cheryl does not look so happy, particularly when Marlene says that Cheryl doesn't have time to spoil them(!)
MARLENE: By the way, I've put Louise's name down on a waiting list at St.Agnes's convent.
CHERYL: What? That boarding school?
MARLENE: Yeah, that's right. Only the best for my grand- daughter! I hope you don't mind.
CHERYL: Mind?! Of course I mind, she's my daughter! What on *earth* gives you the right to interfere in her life?! Or in any of our lives for that matter?!
MARLENE: I was only really trying...
CHERYL: Just because we have called a truce on the past, Marlene, doesn't mean that you can come in here and start organising everything the way you want it, this is my family! The family that *I've* raised, not you! Would you just kindly back off? Just step back and leave some space for me, please!
