Cody is still complaining about Andrew MacKenzie and Pam is running late for her patient Penelope.
PAM: She's the lady who had the stroke.
CODY: Oh, the lady who used to go up and down the street chucking wheelies on them really old bikes?
PAM: For your information those really old bikes just happen to be worth a mint. They're antiques.
CODY: So's Penelope!
Cody has got the spinal injury people coming to talk at school today. Pam leaves the house.
Julie and Philip tell Michael to stop drumming on the table. Michael asks Philip for some extra shifts at the newsagency to save up for some drums. Julie can't find the croissants that were in the fridge last night and is surprised when Helen suggests getting Brett involved with the band because he plays the keyboard. Helen says Brett is full of surprises. Philip tells Michael that the new formal partner will have to agree to him taking extra work; Julie has her final acceptance interview with the Newsagency Council today.
Annalise comes into the kitchen looking at the “cheap eats” guide in the newspaper and wonders how she could get the Hungry Bite in it. Mark says probably by sucking up to the right people. He's in a bad mood because he overslept and Annalise didn't wake him up. Annalise asks him if he can get her veggies when he goes to the market. Mark asks her why she doesn't get up early and get them herself one morning; he's got enough on his plate.
Penelope is sitting on her porch. Pam has run her a bath and says it will make a feel better. Penelope says the smell of oil and the sound of a new Harley would make her feel better! Apparently Pam never let her bike licence expire and she used to take Cameron's bike for a spin when nobody was looking!
Michael and Danni are telling their mates about Honey Pigs and the band they're going to start. They all want to be in it so Michael says there will be auditions. Sassy says she doesn't need an audition; if they give her the gig Stonie can get the gear because his brother used to be in a band. Michael is annoyed with Danni for agreeing. A nameless teacher and Mark come in with David Harcoan to talk about spinal injuries.
“The Hungry Bite”
Annalise is discussing ideas like a dieter's menu and a happy hour with Helen. She will be happy if she can get the shop in the cheap eats guide and show Mark a thing or two! Helen agrees to help her out.
David finishes his talk, which we haven't heard any of. Mark asks Danni for her help with Cheryl's Hawaiian night as he is strapped for staff but Danni will be too busy getting the band set up. Mark bites her head off.
MARK: You work at Lassiters when I want you to or you don't work there at all, understood young lady?
Danni says that's fine with her and walks out.
Pam is leaving and asks Penelope if she needs anything from the shops. She wouldn't mind a couple of bikey magazines! Pam takes the tarp off of Penelope's bike and Penelope tells her to jump on and, “Rev it up, Pammy!”
“The Hungry Bite”
Julie has passed her test and wants to increase Vikram's hours at the newsagency. Danni and Michael come in and Philip tells Michael that his extra shifts are about to be approved. Danni asks if there is any work for her as Mark sacked her this morning. Annalise tells her not to worry because Mark will come round. However, Danni is not sure she wants to work for him any more.
Brett and Helen are doing the dishes and discussing Alfred Hitchcock. Brett asks Helen if she would like to go and see some of his films that the Eden Hills cinema is showing. Helen asks if he wouldn't rather go with his mates but Brett says they are only interested in blood and guts. Philip and Julie come into the room, dressed up and dancing.
PHILIP: We're off to ballroom dancing lessons.
HELEN: Oh, I thought you were off to work in the garden!
The screeching of electric guitars starts up and Brett says it sounds like band auditions have started.
Annalise answers the phone on Mark's demand but it is Mark's dad, asking if he's going to visit. Mark has lost his keys and doesn't have time to speak to his dad. Helen arrives as Mark leaves. Helen gives Annalise the cheap eats guide and some vegetarian recipes. She senses something is wrong and Annalise tells her Mark was making excuses not to go and see his dad. Helen says the invitation was for both of them; she can go without him.
Michael, Danni, Brett, Lenny, Stonie and Cody are jamming when Sassy arrives. Sassy's audition is terrible and Brett, Cody and Michael have pained looks on their faces.
The following morning, Michael tells Danni she should be the one to break the bad news to Sassy since she was the one who opened her big mouth in the first place. Cody reminds them that without Sassy they don't get Stonefish or his equipment.
DANNI: This mightn't be so bad; we'll think of something. Listen to you all. You're all acting like she's totally talentless.
BRETT: Danni, she is!
Pam arrives with milk, marge, magazines and chocolates. Penelope is on a downer. She was OK until she came outside, saw the bike and started reminiscing. Pam tells her she should be proud of what she's achieved; she remembers what the bike looked like when she bought it. Penelope says she's never going to ride the bike again and it needs to be ridden.
Michael and Danni tell Sassy they think it would be better if she play an instrument and everyone sings! The group tries to come up with a name for the band.
BRETT: What about the Rolling Pebbles? Just like the Rolling Stones only smoother!
“The Hungry Bite”
Mark enters and Annalise tells him she got Helen to help her out with the cheap eats guide. Mark is uninterested and moans about the Hawaiian night. He tells Annalise she has to help him in the kitchen. Annalise refuses and tells him to learn how to ask politely. Mark puts his arms around Annalise and asks her to please help him. The answer is still no! Mark says she has to help him if their relationship means anything to her. Annalise says she's been doing a lot of thinking about what their relationship does mean.
Number 26 garage
The band finishes playing a song and they're pleased with how they sounded. Sassy doesn't think her microphone was switched on though! They hear a noise outside and open the garage door to reveal a “bikey chick” on a motorbike.
CODY: That's no bikey chick… that's my mother!
