Coffee Shop
Ally and Sean carry Rick awkwardly into the kitchen. Sean says he must have put too many herbs in the drug he slipped in Rick's tea! He tells Ally he'll go and see if there's an antidote, but she'll have to run the Coffee Shop in the meantime.

The Office
Phil is surprised to see Gaby in the office on a weekend. She says she's just putting the accounts in order because Paul left them in such a mess.

Coffee Shop
Rick starts to come round a bit and Ally tells him he passed out. Rick can't see - his eyes are all blurry and he concludes he must have had a migraine. Sean helps Rick off home.

No.24
Lauren tells Lou that she's going away for a week for Ruth and Jacob's wedding, and Barrabas himself is coming.

LAUREN: He is my spiritual leader. He's leading us to enlightenment through his love.
LOU: Yeah, that's what worries me. Remember what Marcia said.

Lauren is still in denial and says that Marcia is a heretic and a liar! Lou tries to reason with her, but just then Sean comes in with Rick. They help him off to bed.

Martins (No.32)
Phil tells Julie that he'll have to go into work tomorrow even though it's Sunday. She's surprised to hear that Gaby was in today and Phil said she did seem to be acting a bit strangely. Julie reckons that Gaby has her eye on Phil's job.

PHIL: Nah, I trust her.
JULIE: You'd trust Attila the Hun. It's one of the things I love about you!

Julie reckons that people don't change that quickly - Gaby behaved badly when Jack Parker was around and tried to poach Phil's clients to get his job.

JULIE: Watch your back.

No.24, the following morning
Rick is up!

Lauren is ready to leave for her week away. Lou tells her to enjoy herself and gives her a hug. Ruth and Jacob arrive to pick Lauren up and ask if she's excited to meet Barrabas!

Before she goes, Lou asks for a phone number in case he needs to get in touch with her. He tells her if things don't work out or if she wants to come home, to give him a call.

LAUREN: Dad, I'm going for a week. I'm not going forever.

Ramsay Street
Sean is delivering papers and throws Lou's newspaper on to his roof(!)

Julie is giving Helen a lift to church and fussing over her a bit, much to Helen's displeasure.

Lou sees his newspaper on the roof and shouts very loudly after Sean.

LOU: Oi you, paperboy! What's the big idea? Do you think that's funny? How the heck am I supposed to get that?
SEAN: Jump?
LOU: Don't you get smart with me, sonny-boy!
SEAN: Save it, grandad! Hassle me again and you'll never see another paper!
LOU: Lout!

Coffee Shop
Ally is struggling to run the Coffee Shop and is making a truly disgusting-looking milkshake. It's spilled all down the side. Miraculously the customer doesn't complain(!) but another complains that her bill is wrong.

Sean says that Ally has to come home - their mother said so. The customer with the incorrect bill flounces off without paying!

Barrabas's Lair
One of the Barrabians is telling the others that she can feel Barrabas getting closer because she can "feel his love getting stronger within her". Yeah, whatever, love. Ruth and Jacob are putting on their ceremonial gowns and explaining about a Barrabian wedding. Apparently it's more profound than a normal wedding - it's like a communal flowering of love among all the children. They reckon that today will be a red letter day in Lauren's spiritual life.

Coffee Shop
Phil comes in and asks Ally who she is! Luckily Rick turns up at that moment and explains to Phil about his migraine.

Ally is relieved that Rick is feeling better and he thanks her for holding the fort.

Barrabas's Lair
Ruth and Jacob have got their white ceremonial robes on and help Lauren into hers. It seems that Barrabas is very close.

All the cult members begin to chant.

CHANTING: We are the Children. We are the Children of Barrabas.

The door opens in a rush of 80s-disco type smoke and a dodgy-looking man in purple robes enters. It seems that this is Barrabas himself! The chanting continues in the background.

Coffee Shop
Ah, back to normality. Helen and Lou are having a cup of tea and talking about Helen's new car-less existence. Lou apparently picked her up on the way home from Church and offers her a lift whenever she likes. Lou is deathly worried about Lauren and Barrabas. Helen tells him to trust Lauren's instincts to get her through.

Barrabas's Lair
Barrabas is performing Ruth and Jacob's marriage ceremony and talking about how their love with enrich them all.

BARRABAS: I am love. You are love.
CHANTING: I am love. You are love.

The Office
Phil has come into the office and is very surprised to see Gaby there again. She reckons she's come in to make up for the time she's been having off during the week to do dressmaking lessons.

PHIL: Gaby, what are you up to? Do I need to know?
GABY: You'll find out. Everybody will. But all in good time!

Coffee Shop
Ally is telling Rick how easy he makes running the Coffee Shop look. He's confused about his migraine - it seemed different to usual. Suddenly he notices that his necklace is missing and immediately starts to search.

ALLY: It could be anywhere!

Barrabas's Lair
The cult members are enjoying the wedding feast. Presently, Barrabas gets to his feet and claps his hands.

BARRABAS: My children. It's time for Ruth and Jacob to consumate their union of love with love. Let all those who would bear witness join them.

All the members get up and start chanting "God is with us". They start to disperse to a back room.

(Is it me or has Neighbours just implied a group sex scene?!)

Lauren looks a bit unsure of what to do, but she gets up and follows the dispersing cult members.

As she gets to the door, however, it slams shut in her face.

BARRABAS: Don't be afraid, my child. Come, sit. Let's talk.

The Office
Gaby is on the phone telling a mysterious person that she is "ready" and that she has been keeping things secret. Julie comes in and overhears.

GABY: I'm ready to go solo, Jack.
JULIE:(to herself) Jack Parker! I knew it!

Barrabas's Lair
Barrabas is sitting facing Lauren.

BARRABAS: There are many kinds of love. There's the kind the children have for each other. Like you have for Ruth and Jacob. Like they share for you and for each other. And there is the love I have for all the children. A love which reaches out and enters their lives, no matter where they might be. I'm with them.
LAUREN: I don't feel lonely here.
BARRABAS: Exactly. But...the most important love is the love the children have for me as their leader and teacher. That surrender. Your power to love will be increased ten-fold. Are you prepared to give all your love to me? To give yourself?

He starts to push Lauren down to the floor.
