Cameron's Office
A policeman (Sgt Bowen) has dropped around to pick up Hayward's address book. Cameron doesn't tell him about the hold- all full of money. The policeman congratulates him on tipping them off about Hayward.
SGT BOWEN: If there were more people like you we'd all sleep easier in our beds. And hang on to our savings a bit longer.
No.32
Julie and Phil are heading off. When they've gone, Rick comes in through the back door. They moan about being separated. Rick suggests Debbie could go out with somebody awful to make Rick look good(!) Or at least, play the part - maybe Craig Slater.
Hannah comes out and asks why Rick is there.
No.24
Lou is telling Beth what happened with Annalise's mum.
LOU:(to Annalise) Why didn't you tell me you were seventeen?
ANNALISE: Why didn't you tell me you were fifty?
LOU: What?
ANNALISE: Well you are, aren't you?
LOU: Only just. The point is, I'm an adult and you're not.
Annalise walks off to her room.
Cameron comes in and Beth asks if he got everything he wanted from the office. He grips the holdall and doesn't tell her what happened. He goes off to his room.
Cameron's bedroom
Cameron hides the holdall in his wardrobe.
No.32
Phil and Julie comes home to find Debbie reading on the sofa. She asks if she can have "her new boyfriend" over to dinner tomorrow night. Phil and Julie are surprised. Debbie lays it on thick and says that Craig is nothing like Rick - he's very mature.
Ramsay Street, the following morning
Phil has got Cameron's paper so goes over to give it to him. They talk about the Hayward contract. Apparently Lassiter's made a lot out of the land access sale, and now the development won't happen, so it's great for Lassiters.
CAMERON: Nothing like getting something for nothing, is there?
PHIL: You can say that again!
No.26
Hannah, Debbie, Craig and Rick are meeting to discuss the fake boyfriend situation. Craig promises to come up with every mother's nightmare.
No.24
Annalise is off to meet her mother at the Coffee Shop. Lou tells her awkwardly to make sure her mother knows they didn't sleep together(!)
When she's gone, Cameron tells Lou that a "friend" has received some "funny money" - $25,000 and doesn't know what to do.
LOU: It would seem to me - if no- one's missed it...?
Coffee Shop
Julie introduces herself to Annalise and looks at her disapprovingly.
Annalise's mother comes in and also looks at her disapprovingly. She wants Annalise to come away on a holiday with her. Annalise refuses and points out that Fiona is always off with men. Fiona says that Lou is too old for her and Annalise agrees to break it off - but she won't go on holiday with Fiona.
No.26
Craig is messing up his hair ready to meet Julie and Phil. Rick suggests another name as Craig sounds too normal, so he suggests "Slug". Debbie warns Craig not to overdo things as Julie will know it's a scam.
No.24
Beth tells Lou and Cameron what a worthwhile cause the homeless children is. Cameron looks thoughtful.
Beth goes and borrows Cameron's jacket from his wardrobe and he is shocked. He tells her to ask first in future.
No.32
Hannah tells Julie how much Debbie likes Craig. Julie is excited and sends Phil off to change. When they've gone, Debbie tells Hannah to keep her comments to herself.
Cameron's bedroom
Cameron puts a few $100 notes from the holdall in an envelope and puts it in his back pocket. Then he heads out.
No.24
Annalise comes to see Lou and tells him she's talked her mother around about her relationship with Lou(!) Lou assures her that he's not going cold on her.
LOU: If it's alright with Fiona, it's alright with me.
No.32
Julie has set the table for dinner and Phil is opening a bottle of wine.
Debbie goes to let Craig in. He is wearing an old vest and chunky jewellery. There's also a tattoo on his upper arm! Julie is shocked.
CRAIG: Hi Phil, hi Jules. Pleased to meet youse.
No.24
Beth rushes in and tells them excitedly they've had a donation of $2000 to the homeless children's fund - anonymously under the room. Cameron says the donor probably wants to be anonymous. Cameron gives Lou his rent, saying that he had more in his bank account than he thought - and some for the housekeeping too.
CAMERON: What's money for if it isn't to spread around and do some good, eh?
Annalise looks thoughtful.
No.32
Craig is eating his soup noisily and Julie is stunned into silence. There is a long pause.
JULIE: I'll just check the pie in the oven.
CRAIG: Get us a beer while you're there, doll. And a coldie for Phil as well. Go down a treat, what do you reckon, mate?
No.24
Annalise starts hanging over Cameron and offers to cut his hair for him(!) Lou suggests he and Annalise go out for a proper drink.
No.32
Craig spits something out and Julie finally flips. Phil is not happy either. Craig says at least he's better than Benito and Rick. Julie jumps to Rick's defence(!) saying at least Rick knows how to behave! Craig says that Rick is a dork and starts kissing Debbie.
JULIE: Philip, do something!
