They tell the girls that there's still a killer wandering around and he could be planning another murder. The girls tell them that they appreciate it but they'll take their chances.
Julie wonders if Hannah's sick as she's so quiet, but Hannah changes the subject, wondering when Julie's going to tell Philip about Raymond Chambers and his proposed job. Julie says that she must keep it a secret, and Hannah suggests that Phil might find another job and won't need Raymond's job. Julie tells her that Raymond will give Phil a job as good as his old bank manager one - or maybe even better, but as Phil doesn't appreciate it when she interferes, it has to remain a secret! Phil walks in and reveals that he didn't have a great experience at his latest job interview. Julie tells him that she's sure something will turn up.
Toby is fretting to Phoebe about the man who abuducted Hannah, but Phoebe isn't listening. He pretends that he was captured and fed to man-eating sharks in Mexico to grab Phoebe's attention! He convinces Phoebe to take a break so that he can perfect his interview technique for the school radio station. Toby brings up the topic of Phoebe's pregnancy and tells her that if people aren't supportive, he'll beat them up. Phoebe tells him that reporters are supposed to be objective!
Cathy snaps at Rick for playing his drums. She apologises and invites Debbie for dinner - apparently veal and potato casserole is Rick's favourite - but Debbie declines, saying that she's expected at home. They start looking through a box of things that Cathy wants them to put in the garage and Rick finds young pictures of both himself and Marco. Debbie finds a picture of Cathy where she's clearly pregnant. Debbie is horrified at how fat Cathy was, not realising that she was pregnant, and frets about her own weight. Cathy is clearly disturbed by the photograph.
Phil comments on how quiet Hannah is at the dinnertable. Debbie comes in and refuses any dinner, saying she's already eaten at Rick's. Julie tells Phil that she ran into someone today - he guesses at Linda Walsh, her old schoolfriend that she'd already told him about. Julie reveals that it was a man she met shopping.
PHIL: Him? Him? Should I be jealous?
Julie laughs and reveals that it was the son of her old boss at the bank, a man named Raymond Chambers. Hannah looks disturbed, but no-one notices and Julie suggests that she invite him for dinner tomorrow.
Out of earshot, Beth is setting something up with the guy who was pretending to be a detective. Wendy meets up with her and Beth says they're all set for tomorrow afternoon. Wendy can't wait to see the look on the faces of Marco and Brad. Brad and Marco walk in and Brad suggests that they should take the girls on a spooky walk - if they're scared enough, they'll change the sleeping arrangements. Marco reckons there's no point as he's not going to get anywhere with Beth. They meet up with the girls and Marco says that they'd best turn in as they'll need an early start in the morning. Wendy is horrified as their plans for revenge will be ruined. Beth calls Marco back and suggests that they should stay later tomorrow so that they can spend some alone time together. She kisses Marco and tells him that's a downpayment! Marco grins broadly.
Rick and Debbie are kissing. They appear to be showing each other how their previous partners used to kiss! They get a bit full on and Pam interrupts them. She passes them a pamphlet on sex education which she gave out at school the other day - apparently Rick and Debbie were "sick" and missed it.
RICK: We were just kissing.
PAM: That's usually how it starts!
RICK: How what starts?
DEBBIE: Sex, stupid!
Pam tells them that if they have any questions, she's always available to chat to. The pair start reading the pamphlet.
Marco wants Brad to take Wendy off so he can have some alone time with Beth. Brad thinks the chicks are being a bit strange - first they won't sleep in the same room, and the next minute Beth's giving Marco the big come on. Marco says his charm took a while to take effect! Brad says he's finding it difficult to resist Wendy. Marco says that Lucy's a million miles away and he should make the most of it. They hear Beth scream and run towards the girls who are staring at a man lying on the ground. Wendy and Beth say that they smacked him with a piece of wood because they thought he was the murderer. Beth covers him with her coat because he's died! Brad reckons that they could get years for murder, but the girls insist it was self defence. Brad starts to say that he couldn't have been the murderer because there was no murderer but Marco swiftly interrupts him and he kneels down to check if he's dead. The man moves but Marco announces that he's definitely dead. The girls look shocked.
Julie has set the table for Raymond's arrival and Phil is suited up. Hannah refuses to get changed so Phil lets her go off to Toby's instead. Julie isn't impressed and reckons that Phil spoils her too much. Phil warns Julie that she needs indulging as she's getting over the shock of the abduction. Raymond knocks at the door and Hannah looks on, worried, as he's invited into the house. She runs off and as Phil gets a drink for Raymond, Julie instructs Raymond not to tell Phil about the job - he should get to know him and make up his own mind. Raymond tells her that he intended to do just that!
Beth insists that they didn't hurt the dead guy but Marco reckons he had a heart attack. Brad is mystified as to what the girls were trying to prove. They said that they were trying to freak the lads out. Marco suggests that they bury the body and hope that no-one finds it. Brad can't believe his reaction, and then Marco reveals that he was having them all on - the guy gets up and he's fine!
Cathy and Phoebe reveal that they've bought a load of baby patterns. Cathy notices Rick and Debbie with the sex education leaflet and isn't at all impressed that Pam gave it to them.
Number 26 - Outside
Phil, Julie and Raymond have been getting on swimmingly. Raymond offers to let Phil look at his new computer system and says that there's something he wants to discuss with Phil. Phil asks Julie if she knows what it is, but she innocently pretends that she knows nothing. Phil gets in Raymond's car and the pair drive off. Julie looks very pleased with herself. Over the road, Hannah watches with Bouncer as the car drives away. Toby skates up behind her and recognises the car. Hannah insists that it wasn't the same car and that the man in the car is going to give Phil a good job. Toby warns that the man will strike again and Hannah looks concerned that another child could be abducted.
Brad, Marco, Wendy and Beth are laughing as they tell Rick what happened at the weekend away. Brad offers Wendy a lift home and she asks him out. He declines but looks pleased at the idea of a future date. Marco tries to cash in Beth's downpayment but she reveals that it was just a hoax to keep them at the hotel. Marco puts a brave face on it, but is clearly upset.
Pam brings in Red Noses for charity and Cathy is pretty short with her. She asks what Pam was doing giving the pamphlet to Rick and Debbie. Pam tells her that from what she saw, she got there just in time! Cathy is really annoyed and tells her that Rick's sex education is her and Benito's business, not Pam's. Pam blurts out that safe sex is better than an unwanted pregnancy...before realising that Phoebe is in the shop! She apologises but Phoebe tells her that the baby knows that she's wanted. Pam quickly leaves and Cathy is still fuming.
Hannah is still being quiet. Julie tells her that she knows the rules in the Martin family - no secrets. Hannah protests that Julie always has secrets, so Julie clarifies that she means the kids are to have no secrets! Hannah asks if the man who tried to abduct her will do it to other kids. Julie says that he will - and realises that there's something else wrong. She tells Hannah to tell her the rest of the story - she will help if Hannah can trust her. Hesitantly, Hananh starts to speak when Phil bursts through the front door and happily reveals that Raymond has given him a job as a financial manager. Julie and Phil run off to celebrate.
Phoebe tries to convince Cathy that Pam was right. Cathy admits that she was in the wrong. Phoebe says that she wishes she was older and that Todd was still around. Cathy drops a half empty drink and before it's cleared up, Phoebe slips on the floor - she thinks she's hurt the baby.
