Gold Coast
Josh and Brad are bickering over a boring board game and who Beth likes the most out of the pair of them. Lucy tells them to stop - she's on the phone to Helen and can't here.
Lucy tells Josh and Brad that Helen got her Year 12 results...and she did really well! Brad and Josh congratulate her. Lucy didn't tell Helen about David (Beth's brother), but tells Josh that she is serious about him.
No.22
Paul is drinking his best wine before Glen gets his hands on it(!) Christina is shocked to hear that Glen is suing properly, but Caroline says that she's glad Glen didn't sign. She goes off to the hospital to apologise to him.
No.28
Gaby is up late working doing some designs as her casual at the Boutique has quit, so she's busy during the day again. At least it keep her busy though. Doug suggests she goes to talk to Glen and work things out with him.
DOUG: Go for it. And don't take no for an answer.
Hospital
Guy is visiting Glen and has brought him a book and some movies on video to watch. He tells him he saw Gaby. Glen thinks that Gaby will thank him one day. Guy admits that he still has feelings for Gaby.
Caroline comes in and Guy decides to leave. She has brought Glen a book, but it's the same one that Guy brought(!)
CAROLINE: I wanted to tell you. I begged him not to do it.
GLEN: I didn't hear much begging when he was standing over me with that claim form.
CAROLINE: Family loyalty, I guess. To Chrissie and Andrew. You see, Glen, if you sue, they'll suffer too.
GLEN: I wouldn't have even considered it if Paul hadn't pulled this stunt.
CAROLINE: Well...for what it's worth, I'm sorry I had anything to do with it, really. I felt I should put my sister first.
Glen is silent and Caroline turns to go.
GLEN: Caroline. I don't want to hurt Chrissie, either. But Paul hasn't left me much twice. I'm going ahead with the claim and I'm going to squeeze ever cent out of the Robinson Cooperation.
Gold Coast
Glen, Beth, David, Josh and Lucy are playing Cluedo. They talk about who the murderer might be and Beth and David look very uncomfortable. David finally picks up the board and tosses it on the floor. Lucy follows him out of the room and demands to know what's bothering him. David says he just wants to be on his own.
No.22
Paul is very upset that Glen is still determined to sue. Paul has nothing left to sell other than Lassiter's, which he doesn't think is the answer. Suddenly he gets an idea, though, but he won't tell them what it is.
Gold Coast, the following morning
Lucy and Beth want to go to DreamWorld today, but the boys want to go to the beach. David apologises for losing it over the board game last night. Beth suggests they could go to the beach this morning and then go to DreamWorld this afternoon. They all agree.
When Beth has gone to get ready, David tells them that it's Beth's birthday today. They decide to have a party.
Lassiter's Complex
Paul is talking to an insurance broker about changing Lassiter's insurance cover to his firm. He was hoping for a back- dated cover note, but the broker says he can't do that. Doug walks past, recognises the insurance broker and says hello. When Doug has gone, Paul offers the broker $20,000 for a backdated note, on top of his commission. The broker says he'll think about it.
Hospital
Gaby has come to see Glen.
GABY: Glen, I love you, and I know you love me.
GLEN: It's over.
GABY: Nothing's changed. The only thing between you and me living happily ever after is your stupid pride.
GLEN: I lost the use of my legs, not my brain, so don't come in here and tell me what I should think or what I should feel! I can still make my own decisions.
GABY: Well, what about *my* feelings, don't they count?
GLEN: I'm doing the best thing for both of us.
GABY: Don't you dare tell me what's best for me! You say you can make your own decisions, well so can I! And if I say I can handle being married to a guy in a wheelchair, then I can handle it!
GLEN: It's got nothing to do with it. I'd already had cold feet about marrying you before the accident. Must have been mad to ask you. I didn't want to get tied down, I was going to shoot through after Christmas anyway.
GABY: I don't believe you. You're making it up.
GLEN: It's true. All I want to do is forget you ever existed, so just leave me alone.
GABY: OK, if that's what you *really* want.
GLEN: It is.
GABY: I'd better return this.
She takes off her engagement ring.
GLEN: Keep it.
GABY: No. You want to forget me? Well, I want to forget you, too!
She slams the ring down on Glen's chest and hurries from the room.
When she's gone, Glen picks up the ring, looks at it and sighs.

Lucy asks David what he and Beth will do once they leave. He's trying not to think about it. Lucy says he should come to Erinsborough! She wants to know more about David as he knows all about her now. He explains he was born in a little country town, and prefers country people to city people. Lucy says she understands - her sister Julie is happy living in the country.
Lassiter's Complex
Paul meets Graham the insurance broker. He's tempted by Paul's offer, but not tempting enough. He will do it for $50,000 though.
PAUL: Oh, come on, I can't find that sort of cash!
GRAHAM: It depends on how badly you want that back- dated cover note then, doesn't it? Have a think about it. You know where to find me.
No.28
Gaby is moping on the sofa when Guy comes round. She explains that they are no longer engaged. Guy invites her round for a swim and some spaghetti to take her mind of things, but she doesn't want to - not tonight.
No.22
Paul is going crazy trying to think how to raise the extra $30,000 for the cover note. Caroline and Christina are appalled, especially when Paul suggests asking their father! He calms down a bit and goes off to tend to Andrew, who is screaming. He says he'll find some way, though.
Gold Coast
Josh, Beth and Brad are enjoying the beach. Beth suggests a change of pace tonight - maybe they could go to a movie. They awkwardly put her off saying they don't like the dark(!) Josh suggests a quiet evening at home and Brad backs him up. Beth is a bit disappointed.
No.24
Guy is playing the love song he wrote for Gaby just as she comes up the stairs to his front door (presumably she has changed her mind about the swim and spaghetti)
GUY:(singing) You are my life...you are my life...you are my...life...
Excellent lyrics there. Gaby has reached the front door, which is open, and tells him that the song sounds great. She asks to hear the full thing.
GUY:(singing) Some things confuse me...and make me feel blue...so many times I'm lonely...just thinking of you...I'm loving you...I need you, you are my life...you are my life...you are my...life.
GABY: It's beautiful.
GUY: It's how I feel about you. Sorry...I shouldn't have said that.
GABY: Because of Glen, you mean?
GUY: I know how you feel about him.
GABY:(shrugs) Glen wants me to forget him. Maybe that won't be as hard as I thought.
She leans in and kisses him.
