Caroline pretends to be sick so she can get out of going out with Paul and go out with someone else.
Beverly's flat
Beverly asks a monosyllabic Todd about school - she asks about the single sex classes, which Todd says no one really cares about, one way or the other. Beverly takes his lack of information as a sign he hasn't been going to school but he says he has.
She makes it clear that the reason he was allowed to stay here was so he could finish school and if he doesn't go she'll be forced to send him back to Adelaide. Todd isn't happy and wants to know whether Beverly's going to spend time with Ewan again tonight. Beverly wants him to respect Ewan but Todd won't - he hates the guy!
Number 22
The next morning. Christina is worried for her sister and her job as she thinks she's going to cop a lot of aggro from Paul. Paul comes in and shouts at Caroline for calling in sick and being slack about work. Caroline reveals that she was with Giorgio Ferani, who's agreed to move his business to Lassiter's. He's using the place as backdrop for his swim adverts! Paul is overjoyed at the thought of all that publicity. Caroline also has good news for Caroline; Giorgio is going to put a select line of swimwear into the gift shop. Paul is a little annoyed she went out on her own as they're meant to be a team but tells her she did good.
Caroline is really pleased she's in Paul's good books but Christina sighs and seems a bit down.
Paul's Office
Christina comes in - she and Melanie are going to lunch and she has a thousand ideas for the gift shop. Melanie asks why she wants to impress Paul so much and Christina says she wants promotion so has to work hard. Melanie can't go for lunch as she's so churned up. And, besides, she has to dash off to attend to something urgent. Christina agrees to hold the fort at the office for her. Melanie dashes off.
Erinsborough High
Todd is wagging school again and Josh, Cody and Melissa aren't looking forward to another boring afternoon. Josh spots Melanie, dressed up in school uniform and the teens can't believe it. Melanie just had to see this concert and the kids think it's going to be lame as it's Mrs Burke's work. But Melanie says it'll be Go101, who she loves. Ryan asks how she knows and is sure Mrs Burke woudn't even know who they are! Melanie says she was the one who told her to book them and runs inside. The teens think she's going to be very disappointed.
School Auditorium
Mrs Burke comes on the stage to welcome them to their first music appreciation concert. The teens yawn. Mrs Burke introduces Go 101 and Melissa and Cody can't believe it - Cody thinks she's going to die. The band play a track. Even Mrs Burke dances. Cody asks her if they can see the band afterwards and Mrs Burke thinks it can be arranged.

Mrs Burke used to teach the lead singer, hence the reason they played the school. She introduces all of them and Melanie wants to show them around but unfortunately they're going interstate tonight. Melanie settles for smacking a big kiss on the lead singer instead.
Beverly's flat
Cody, Josh and Melissa tell Todd the gossip. Melissa is annoyed to find Boof is here and that's why Todd wagged. Josh suggests they go to the coffee shop to discuss the concert and Boof makes fun of them for it. They decide to stay put. Boof wants to have some booze - it's Friday after all. He hands mugs round. Todd takes some and tells Melissa to stay. Boof wants to get to know them better over a few drinks. They agree and all take a sip of wine.
Coffee Shop
Ryan tells Dorothy that she's so popular at school now. Therefore it would be a shame to ruin it by making the common room supervised. Dorothy is prepared to negotiate, if their behaviour improves. Ryan wants to know if Dorothy knows Madonna - she could do the next concert. Dorothy crosses her fingers and says they're just like *that*.
Number 22
Melanie tells the twins and Paul about how much fun she had at the concert today. Paul wants to take Caroline out to dinner as thanks for her business deal. Christina pitches her idea about stocking some trendy earrings for the shop that could bring in a good profit. Paul likes the idea and trusts her judgement. If he doesn't watch out the talented twins will have taken over Lassiter's!
Beverly's flat
Todd is almost passed out drunk. Beverly comes in to find the kids all in different states of inebriation and Boof makes a quick exit. She finds an empty wine bottle and demands to know how much they've had. Todd can hardly speak but thinks it's no big deal. Cody has already gone home, ill, and Josh has been sick. Beverly goes over to Melissa, who has passed out. She can't rouse her. Beverly tells Josh to call an ambulance. The alcohol combined with Melissa's epilepsy meds have caused a seizure! If they don't get her to hospital immediately it might be fatal!
